But ironically as you say the world praises exactly the opposite, and we live in times where people dont even value saving oneself for marriage anymore. As someone who has been married for 9 years, just another piece of advice. Please don't just marry anyone just to avoid fornication. You should love the person also and want to marry them. I know believers who have married not knowing each other very well and just hurried and got married and they end up resenting one another and divorced. The excitement of sex with a person goes away and if you marry for that reason and that's the only thing that was holding you both together, if that was the only foundation then that's gonna be one tough marriage that might end in divorce. Make sure you love the person
They talked full about it in another video. They were already to a point of knowing they wanted to get married. So instead of a normal year engagement, they decide it would be easier to just get married.
It's weird, when I first tried to watch your video; I had no sound but 2 ads and now I can actually hear you 😄 I'm glad God allowed me to hear the good message you and your husband had to share. I always felt that I wanted a serious relationship before sex came in the picture. I always felt weird about having that without a genuine loving connection from a woman. I've had my heart broken several times.. I knew better and was raised better, but rebelled against how I was brought up. None was ever the same after my first love, but I kept on having sex outside of marriage. Looking back I should have married her and done it all right, but hindsight is 20 20. Glad yall found each other, God has someone for me, but now I'm 41 years old and single and waiting on the right woman this time. I'd rather be alone than with the wrong one.

There are spiritual consequences to physical sin. After being healed and cleansed by God my ex came over to tempt me and we did not have sex but regardless we had a few seconds of intimate closeness and I heard a voice say stop. I kicked her out!! The next morning I woke up and seen two faces with lit up eyes saying theirs tryig to enter me I was being attacked spiritually!! My body and emotions were manipulated!! I had to declare my authority in Jesus Christ name!! I declared war on the demons! The sword of God will strike you down demons. I went thru warefare immediately after being healed and called by God. Keep ur eyes ears and mouth clean otherwise Lust will tempt you!!! She your healed if u sin u can open another doorway for demons to enter in u or tempt from the outside. I also can’t watch tv or listen to music I’m hyper sensitive in the spirit. Holy spirit let’s me know. It’s hits me in my chest I feel it in my spirit!
If someone would’ve explained to me what a soul tie was way before I went down the path that I went on, I would’ve stayed a virgin. However, I’m living in grace, currently enrolled in medical counseling, continuously reading the word, and each day is getting better than the last. There’s a lot that I’m going through, but God is walking with me.

The only thing i'd add is that its also impulsiveness and inpatients (is that even a word, lol?) .. a lack of patience. People normally endup with somesort of "chance" to throw away their virginity and as its easy and they lack patience they go for it. But wide is the gate.. She is saying the truth. I learnt my own lessons in a very hard way. Sex out of marriage brings nothing but lots of trouble if you are not lucky enough. I am a single mom and this circumstance has thaught me to trust in God and wait on him...though we always run to God after we had gone through pain amd hurt. I disagree about women being more emotional when it comes to sex. I know and seen plenty of women who will have sex with other men like its nothing without any kind of attachment. If anything, the roles have been reserved. Men seek relationship while women are on to the next like it's nothing.

I know what you are saying, but that is when they are allready broken. Imagene you put tape on a object, you pull it off and you put it on another object. I wish I saw this video sooner than later. I wasted my virginity on someone I thought I was going TO marry, I wish I lost it after marriage. I realized how much God was protecting me from that, despite my porn addiction I had and insecurities since I didn’t have sex at the time. Because of the unfortunate experience, God is now working me slowly. I will be one year porn free after 10+ years in July and I’m now over two months not masturbating. God is so good!!! I'm over 40, still a virgin, and sometimes it's really, really hard… besides the temptation, there's also the feeling of "Do you have anything for me, God?" and the (obviously incorrect) "Scripture says 'he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord'… I haven't 'found a wife', so God is showing disfavor." On the topic of pursuing, one thing that's been discouraging for me is encountering rejection over multiple, mutually exclusive things (e.g.) pursuing is "creepy", not pursuing is "passive", etc; this is especially irksome WRT integration into theological life-view: "God will bring someone into your life" is kind of passive, with pursuing coming off as not trusting God - in some real sense, it feels like I'm presented with a no-win, "[whatever you do,] you lose" situation -that's obviously incorrect, given the nature of love [1 Cor 13], but James 4:2 says "ye have not because ye ask not", implying that your own actions are part of the calculus, and that your prayers prayed/unprayed actually matter. There's a woman God brought into my life a while ago (she's out of state now), which I want and think I heard God say 'yes' to (the ability to "hear what I want" makes me cautious), but in order for _that_ to come about several miracles need to happen, which is OK because God is a God of miracles - I want so badly that (a) I should love her like Jesus, as per Eph 5:25, (b) that I should be able to show her off and say "Jesus is the God who hears prayers, and cares about our wants and desires; see, he gave me the woman I asked for by name!", and (c) she's backslidden right now, and was rather dismissive of prayer, and I want to be able to whisper in her ear "No, you are the answer to my prayers" when she gets into that make-themselves-unlovable funk that it seems women are prone to, (d) obviously after she turns back to Jesus. Please pray for me, but even more please pray for her: to return to Jesus… I want her saved even more than I want to be able to "win her heart". (Obviously the bible requires believers to have believing spouses, so it's prerequisite in that case.)

You are speaking about the truth of headship; which most churches have left by the side, claiming it was simply a cultural aspect of the times when Paul wrote the epistles. That in itself is largely connected to why divorce is so prevalent in the churches of North America. Studying it carefully with intention to seek out the truth will revel that the truth of headship indicates the man is submitted to God, and accountable for his family. The wife is also submitted to God, but as a result of this submission, the wife submits to here husband to honor the Lord. The head covering is a physical representation of this, that is in the context of the local gathering of the church before the Lord. The verse that has led to much interpretation is 1st Corinthians 11:16. In the King James you will read this following the summation about head coverings: "But if any man be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do the churches of God." This has led many to believe it is an optional aspect of being obedient in church worship and gathering. When you read the New Living Translation, as well as some other more recent translations from the original rtexts, you will find this: "But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no OTHER custom than this, and neither do God's other churches. (NLT.) This shows that following this in obedience is a requiremnt of a "Church of God." which leaves me to believe that many churches are simply churches of men, and thier own practices.

I won't criticize Jackie for what happened. She went through a lot of what I saw in college, and she was blessed enough to get out of it and get things right.
I'd like the blessing of attracting a lovely friend from another state. We seem to have a lot in common, including our faith, so we think there is something there for us, and we'd like to spend time together to explore that, and maybe god will bless us with marriage. I agree. I was not saved until I was 31, even though I was raised in a Christian home. I did not save myself, and lived recklessly in this area up until I was saved in 2010. I have been waiting on the Lord ever since, but in hindsight, I wish I hadn't done the things I did. It makes the war of the mind a constant battle. Anyone who still has the chance to avoid heartache and spiritual struggles, is well advised to wait and be blessed.

I am very worried that I keep seeing this non-biblical concept of "Soul Ties" repeatedly being proclaimed by so-called Christian influencers. There is absolutely nothing in the Bible that suggests this. This is a New Age concept that has been artificially brought over into Christianity. Please!! If you're going to preach or teach others, teach only what is in the Bible!
No it’s not a new age thing..when you have sex you are literally creating a covenant and intertwining your souls..have you not noticed in the Old Testament where they speak about “knowing” your husband or wife? They had sex and they “knew” their wife. The literal act of having sex made them married. Just as it does today. That’s why sex is designed for marriage your soul is going to desire that person once you become intimate with them. People go around sleeping with all these people and you open yourself up to the demons that are in their souls as well..
The bible says that your souls become one after marriage. It references this while saying when your flesh comes together your souls will as well. It is a logical conclusion that outside of marriage you will still be somewhat tied to a person because of Gods design of this soul tie. This is the biggest consequence of sex outside of marriage. Pray and Ask God to forgive you. Confess your sins to God and he shall forgive you. Ask him to grant you the ability to repent. Pray that your wife returns to you.
That is not solely on you though. She has her part as being responsible for what happened. And the way of dealing with things is not the optimal from what you are saying. Everyday we can be better. Try to do that and learn from your mistakes and you can cure yourself and meet someone that will be just better for you.

As someone who has been married for 9 years, just another piece of advice. Please don't just marry anyone just to avoid fornication. You should love the person also and want to marry them. I know believers who have married not knowing each other very well and just hurried and got married and they end up resenting one another and divorced. The excitement of sex with a person goes away and if you marry for that reason and that's the only thing that was holding you both together, if that was the only foundation then that's gonna be one tough marriage that might end in divorce. I've had my heart broken several times.. I knew better and was raised better, but rebelled against how I was brought up. After being healed and cleansed by God my ex came over to tempt me and we did not have sex but regardless we had a few seconds of intimate closeness and I heard a voice say stop. I kicked her out!! The next morning I woke up and seen two faces with lit up eyes saying theirs tryig to enter me I was being attacked spiritually!! My body and emotions were manipulated!! I had to declare my authority in Jesus Christ name!! I declared war on the demons! The sword of God will strike you down demons. I went thru warefare immediately after being healed and called by God. Keep ur eyes ears and mouth clean otherwise Lust will tempt you!!! She your healed if u sin u can open another doorway for demons to enter in u or tempt from the outside. I wish I saw this video sooner than later. I wasted my virginity on someone I thought I was going TO marry, I wish I lost it after marriage. I realized how much God was protecting me from that, despite my porn addiction I had and insecurities since I didn’t have sex at the time. Because of the unfortunate experience, God is now working me slowly. I will be one year porn free after 10+ years in July and I’m now over two months not masturbating. God is so good!!! I'm over 40, still a virgin, and sometimes it's really, really hard… besides the temptation, there's also the feeling of "Do you have anything for me, God?" and the (obviously incorrect) "Scripture says 'he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord'… I haven't 'found a wife', so God is showing disfavor."
On the topic of pursuing, one thing that's been discouraging for me is encountering rejection over multiple, mutually exclusive things (e.g.) pursuing is "creepy", not pursuing is "passive", etc; this is especially irksome WRT integration into theological life-view: "God will bring someone into your life" is kind of passive, with pursuing coming off as not trusting God - in some real sense, it feels like I'm presented with a no-win, "[whatever you do,] you lose" situation -that's obviously incorrect, given the nature of love [1 Cor 13], but James 4:2 says "ye have not because ye ask not", implying that your own actions are part of the calculus, and that your prayers prayed/unprayed actually matter.
There's a woman God brought into my life a while ago (she's out of state now), which I want and think I heard God say 'yes' to (the ability to "hear what I want" makes me cautious), but in order for _that_ to come about several miracles need to happen, which is OK because God is a God of miracles - I want so badly that (a) I should love her like Jesus, as per Eph 5:25, (b) that I should be able to show her off and say "Jesus is the God who hears prayers, and cares about our wants and desires; see, he gave me the woman I asked for by name!", and (c) she's backslidden right now, and was rather dismissive of prayer, and I want to be able to whisper in her ear "No, you are the answer to my prayers" when she gets into that make-themselves-unlovable funk that it seems women are prone to, (d) obviously after she turns back to Jesus.
Please pray for me, but even more please pray for her: to return to Jesus… I want her saved even more than I want to be able to "win her heart". (Obviously the bible requires believers to have believing spouses, so it's prerequisite in that case.)

The head covering is a physical representation of this, that is in the context of the local gathering of the church before the Lord. The verse that has led to much interpretation is 1st Corinthians 11:16. In the King James you will read this following the summation about head coverings: "But if any man be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do the churches of God." This has led many to believe it is an optional aspect of being obedient in church worship and gathering. When you read the New Living Translation, as well as some other more recent translations from the original rtexts, you will find this: "But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no OTHER custom than this, and neither do God's other churches. (NLT.) This shows that following this in obedience is a requiremnt of a "Church of God." which leaves me to believe that many churches are simply churches of men, and thier own practices.

I agree. I was not saved until I was 31, even though I was raised in a Christian home. I did not save myself, and lived recklessly in this area up until I was saved in 2010. I have been waiting on the Lord ever since, but in hindsight, I wish I hadn't done the things I did. It makes the war of the mind a constant battle. Anyone who still has the chance to avoid heartache and spiritual struggles, is well advised to wait and be blessed.

No it’s not a new age thing..when you have sex you are literally creating a covenant and intertwining your souls..have you not noticed in the Old Testament where they speak about “knowing” your husband or wife? They had sex and they “knew” their wife. The literal act of having sex made them married. Just as it does today. That’s why sex is designed for marriage your soul is going to desire that person once you become intimate with them. People go around sleeping with all these people and you open yourself up to the demons that are in their souls as well..
The bible says that your souls become one after marriage. It references this while saying when your flesh comes together your souls will as well. It is a logical conclusion that outside of marriage you will still be somewhat tied to a person because of Gods design of this soul tie. This is the biggest consequence of sex outside of marriage. It is not new ageism.

Pray and Ask God to forgive you.
Confess your sins to God and he shall forgive you.
Ask him to grant you the ability to repent.
Pray that your wife returns to you.
That is not solely on you though. She has her part as being responsible for what happened. And the way of dealing with things is not the optimal from what you are saying.
Everyday we can be better. Try to do that and learn from your mistakes and you can cure yourself and meet someone that will be just better for you.
