The two things that stood out to me from this video:
1. Marriage is not the highlight of your life- being saved by Jesus is.
2. It is more important to seek God and wait on him during your time of singleness than to pray for a husband and seek one.
Thank you for sharing your video and giving such glory to God. Marriage these days has become both an idol and something to be easily thrown away when it gets tough. Both of these realities break God’s heart and dishonor him. Thank you for sharing your testimony. 💓

No, Christians can date. Not everyone will have the same story as these two. For example, if you're older and have already done a lot of Bible study, you might not meet your spouse through Bible study as friends. You might meet at a Christian dating event after work.
@@digthewarmth Dating as in looking to find temporary enjoyment in people an connections as opposed to having the lens of marriage, is how I interpreted Dani's comments. Christians can definitely meet new people, of course! The focus should always be on how does it glorify God as we grow on this walk with Christ.

I just met a woman after I've prayed for so long , I've married before but I can honestly say I did without knowing God as I do now , she's everything I prayed for she's also seeking God , and this feels so different from what I've gone through , but after 20 years now , because after my wife died I stayed alone because I didn't want to be out giving myself to any and all , because I see what's behind slot in this world , but I've stayed alone trusting God's plan and out of no where this woman shows up , it's scary because of what I've been through but there's something about this woman that's different and I feel it in my spirit , she's said the same to me , but we've talked and said to each other , go to God in prayer , get some type of confirmation of what is , because neither one one to hinder or cause hurt or pain in anyway for the other ! So just sharing and asking that you all pray for the both of us , that we understand God's plan 🙏

Amen, am 51 years old and have divorced twice. i can proudly say seeing this videos God is really speaking to me. I believe in God and i have seen the mistakes that i have made ignoring the red flags in courting. God can say No even a person is Born again. Am now very cautious in looking for a wife.( meaning i will definitely hear from God Himself this time around.

Your relationship with Him and everything he has for you is different from everyone else. I used to think the same thing bc I was once divorced twice. The lord blessed me with my husband and he was divorced as well. He ordained the two of us to be together for a purpose. So if he did it for me he can do it for you. He is bringing a lot of His children together whether divorced once or not. Don’t let anyone sow doubt in your mind. You stand firm on hope and pray to the Lord for your desires. If it’s His will it’s already apart of His plan. God bless you.

Waiting on God as a single person and not be marriage conscious all the time but focusing on the Lord is a bit challenging, any advise?
Anything that fills your heart and has your attention more than the Lord becomes an idol. Marriage and spouses are often idolized . Idolatry is a sin . Focus on the Lord .. fall in love with him .. spend time in his word .. you can even have chill days with him by the beach or the park or even a coffee lunch date .
It is written in Psalm 37:4 - Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart 🌹

Nice inspiring testimony, watching from the uk, London. Your thoughts provoked thinking in terms of a man as a provider. I have suffered things in my personal life "like what woman would want you" etc in difficult situations from even people that were supposed to love me. But yh, that scripture i saw about providing for household yh its i just saw it can be applied to both genders, not just male. But of course, male was built to work from time of adam, but woman was created to help in a capacity so its bit different. But i have tried my best as man, its not easy with pressure of performance on young men. But God understands me, and he is the light in my life.
