Lesson here is that you would never find the right person/s unless it actually feels right. Also, relationships are hard, if you give up on the person/s during their hard times then you don’t deserve to be there for their chill times. :)
@@heyhey8528 Well, I get what you’re saying but I feel like you should never give up on the person regardless because they might be going through something very bad and they might want you support. But if you’re talking about giving up on a person because they committed horrible crimes that you would never be able to forgive, then I agree with you there.
For the, "Her dad liked me." one, I think they meant that the few crazy-ex's dad's were like: "I like them! They're a good person, & I wouldn't mind you dating them." or something. So the ex's are kinda dumb, because wouldn't you want your dad to support your relationship, instead of being actively against it???
One summer, a friend asked me to "go with him" and I said yes. Less than an hour later, he asked me if I would cover another friend's shift at the pool ... so SHE could go to his party, lol. He never broke up with me, and I never broke up with him (I try NOT to break up with a guy unless he's an @$$hole). Years later, he and his wife (who was also a friend) brought their kids to my parents' house while trick-or-treating and I happened to be there. I was just joking around with his wife, saying that she married my boyfriend. I explained what had happened. She called him over and told him he HAD to break up with me. It had slipped his mind that he already had a girlfriend, lol. He dutifully broke up with me. It was funny: "Hey, you are a great girl. it's not you, it's me. My wife says I have to break up with you. I hope we can still be friends!"
She didn't like the fact that her dad liked her boyfriend, easy to get along with, like watching the same tv shows like that, and he was never rude or disrespectful. She dumped her boyfriend because he wasn't a bad boy.
My dad used to tell me a lot of stuff when I was growing up about his early life. He once mentioned some old girlfriend stopped dating him because his car was too old; much like one of the stories here. Then there was the time he was visiting in the city and girls there were shocked he was a farmer as he was wearing a suit/tie etc instead of overalls they assumed. This would have been in the 50s when suit/tie was the standard dress up going on the town attire.
About the trust story. I would understand if my significant other would help their ex by giving them shelter for the night for whatever important reason. But for all HEAVEN'S SAKE don't sleep with them !
That breakup because her friend broke up is a real thing... My gf broke up because her friend broke up with my friend 😂😂😂 it was when i was still in school... was i sad? No because of how lame the reason is
The peer pressure is real. I had a friend that wanted her friends to be single with her after she broke up with whoever she was dating at the time saying things like "I won't be mad if you broke up with so and so" (said to me) or making up stuff to cause drama in her friends' relationships. It rarely worked on any of us because we knew she'd have a new bf within a week or so and we'd be left with nobody and she'd drop her friends. We're no longer friends and I'm still with my SO after 13 years.
My ex dumped me so he could "Focus on playing piano". He still acted like I was his girlfriend for a month or so afterwards though. I was a stupid 15 year old lol
