Creator of the iceberg image you used here, and I think you did a good job on the video. There were a few things you got incorrect though: There is an unused Super Mario Strikers graphic in the files of Punch-Out Wii Charles Martinet did voice all the characters in Super Punch-Out, which is what was on the iceberg Disco Kid is Kid Quick is not a joke. In the files of Punch-Out Wii, Disco Kid’s files are labelled as Kid Quick Mr. Dream hails from Dreamland, the same place Kirby lives. This one was just a joke
About that Punch-Out and Kirby are in the same universe, I think it has something to do with the Punch-Out (NES) re-release, where it has Mr. Dream, and his location is from Dreamland; probably some place with the same name on Kirby.
7:30 I think this may be an oversight. in Punch-Out Wii, Mr Sandman constantly says "Dreamland" or that he'll "take you to Dreamland" since this is refering him that he's gonna make you go night-night or KO, according to his trophy in Smash 4 it says he got his name from a fairy tale character who made people go to sleep. Since Dreamland is kirby's home i can see where the idea came from. Also great video, i love how you got straight to the point and there were no fillers like certain other icebergs...
Further more, in Punch Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream, his title card states he's from Dreamland as well. Although it's likely a coincidence or maybe even a reference, perhaps it was mistaken to be a pattern...
6:51 actually i think that's referring to how the art style for the trailer to little mac being in smash 4 was similar to mario strikers for whatever reason. a strange choice for sure.
I think that a theory for glass joe beating nick bruiser is that in the fake high scores section after beating nick bruiser you can see a "G. Joe" meaning that glass joe beat nick bruiser in some licensed game (which would mean super punch-out snes being a game within a game) and the wvba gave him the win out of pitty
The reason why little Mac had a painting in luigis mansion 3, the paintings are games that Nintendo worked on with the Canadian studio that made punch out Wii.
You and somebody else posted a punch-out iceberg on literally the same day. I feel bad for both of you and think it’s hilarious at the same time. Good video ‘ere
Nice idea for a video. Not much to comment on but I liked the style of this, good job. Maybe in the Punchout timeline Glass Joe beats Nick Bruiser later on 😳
Lmao we both made a video on the same thing and posted on the same day. That's an insane coincidence. It was nice to see a different take on explaining the same things. Great video.
I gotta give you props for not wasting a shitton of time & just getting straight to the point, no fluff! Also how the heck did you manage to get The Beatles to collab?! Lucky guy!
Great video! Love watching the Iceberg content and also love me some Punch-Out. Some issues though. #1 while it's not really a big deal at all, the KO Meter is the meter from the Punch-Out and Super Punch-Out Arcade Games, you showed footage of the SNES Super Punch-Out's Star/Super Punch Meter, but it really doesn't matter as it is basically the same function anyhow. #2 small editing mistake on the Glass Joe Won Against Nick Bruiser part, it just says the Kirby one again but this is a simple mistake that isn't that big of deal. #3 The last one about Charles Martinet is about *Super Punch-Out*. You seemed to have confused it with Punch-Out Wii. According to the "Voice Actors from the world Wikia" and "Behind the Voice Actors" Charles Martinet does in fact voice all the characters in Super Punch-Out! But whether or not this is true is something I don't know myself. Still though, real good video here :)
@@jamesvseverything5974 two things you didn’t point out in the Iceburg: 1. The theme to the Arcade and NES games of Punch-Out features the “Look Sharp March” by Gillette. 2. Rick Bruiser is the one who had a single loss, indicating he’s the one that Glass Joe actually won against (my Headcanon is that the Bruiser Brothers had a bet). The only reason that people believe Glass Joe beats Nick is because of either the Nintendo Power Magazine or the Time Attack Score from the game.

Although I’m 3 years late, I just want to say, the first time I played punch out was a rom hack where Kirby was the referee
Also, Mr Sandman's Dreamland express fits the name
