Yep, or crowdsourcing it and making a competitor to Google Earth/street view where you can walk or drive around and explore the world in great detail and accuracy.
When I identify a hole in the point cloud, do I just add the new files into the same pool of photos? Do the photo names need to be sequential and have an overlapping line from the last photo to the new group of photos?
"you are probably looking always on the smartphone" ... in reality you aren't even alowed to fly without a spectator who is there to warn about obstacles. Man darf ohne eine zweite Person nicht fliegen, wenn die "Line of sight" nicht aufrecht gehalten werden kann. Gutes Video mal abgesehen davon!
Hi I enjoyed your video. I am new to this and after trying itI have a problem I can't solve, I hope you can help. I'm trying to scan a house. I use a DJI Mavic air 2 to take pictures witha map mission, then manually fly and take some closer pics of the house about 50 pictures each way. When I import into Meshroom, if I import one set of either of them It works as it should. If I import both groups the ones from the map mission are accepted and it works but the ones from the manual shoot are rejected ie; red icon in right top corner of thumbnail. Either group alone works but the two don't. I tried the same project scanning the second set with the Iphone 10 with same results. All meshroom settings are left at default. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
Such a cool project! I can't believe how nice the final model looks.
Imagine using a drone swarm to do this. Amazing technology!

would like to see how you integrate an internal scan and create a full BIM model
It looks like a picture of a house that was destroyed by an earthquake. Thank you for the great video.
This reminds me of some of the data they got on the Skinwalker Ranch show, their feedback was super eerie

Hi thanks for the video!
Have you got any drone recommendations?
Nowadays I would recommend the DJI mini 4 pro. It’s under 250g so it does not require a license and it makes awesome images
@@Crosslink3D Thankyou I’ll look it up now
What GPU are you using?
What a fool I am I did not even think of using my drone for photogrammetry of large objects
👌💕👍
