@@alexplansnz I love Kinbor! I've never tried the A6 size, how does it compare to the Hobonichi? I was also considering Wonderland222 after the paper fiasco because I heard their dated planners use the old TRP!
I have a large monthly calendar I can always see that stays home. That’s separate from my weekly plans in a portable planner. That’s separate from another journal that I take with me. It works for me. Three parts and two parts go with me. B6 size works well.
Excellent point. We should be able to always see the monthly view without flipping back and forth. I’ve always had a large monthly calendar with boxes big enough to write all my appointments. Always visible. Then the week’s page is also in view. I keep my To Dos separate using 3x5 cards for each day.
Loved this video...great to watch and compare notes! I have embraced a Happy Planner for my main planner...I can be creative, and I love that I can work with three months at a time. I'm going to get a Paper Tess TN for a specific body of work that I do and keep track of with notes, dates, and accountability. Then I'm going to use a Wonderland 222 A6 for journaling...very excited about 'less space', and I think I will get it undated...that was if I don't write every day, I am not disappointed in myself.
Nice lineup! 😊 The dupe Hobonichi Weeks look great. I haven't had any problems with the paper in any of my Hobonichi Techos, so I'll be using them in 2025.
Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it for now, but we shall see how the year plays out 🤣 The Kinbor seems nearly identical to the Hobonichi weeks, the only thing I haven't figured out yet is a cover! I bought a Kinbor clear cover, but it broke and doesn't fit very well so I'm not sure what to do there 🤔 That's great to know! Which Hobonichis did you purchase for 2025?
Always wondered the ability to juggle life between more than one planner! My system is pretty simple but it's functional: 1. Hobonichi weeks mega: had the normal weeks spring edition after the whole Cousing thing that wasn't working for me at all. The weeks is my main PLANNER, I can't function without it. Also I noticed no difference between the old and new paper (was really small) so I guess I got a good batch? (I saw that the a6 hobo has the best paper overall) 2. MD Paper Notebook A5--> JOURNAL, basically my brain dump and my 'dear diary' kind of space with everything in it! 3. Md Paper codex a5--> commonplace/encyclopedia because I really like to learn and discover new things✨ The weeks is my only carry on, along with a really small (a7) md paper notebook (soooo cuteeeee) that is my literal brain dump (catch all) and I will transfer important info from there to my other notebooks.
I honestly considered having the Weeks Mega as my only planner as well! I was just too nervous after testing the 2025 sanzen 🥲 But, it's such an amazing layout and I'm glad to hear that you haven't noticed too much of a difference! AHHH! I nearly got an MD Codex! I love the MD paper. That is a great choice for a commonplace 😊 (I'm super biased though because I use an A6 MD for my own commonplace haha 🤣)
@lillabjornco yeah! I also was afraid in the start, but I tested it and it works with fountain pens and highlighters (also great with tombows!) and honestly that's all that matters to me ahhahahah (muji gel pens don't work and that's really weird) It's an excuse to get more ink colors lol Also yeah, md paper is really superior and I think now it's better than the actual tomoe river, since I don't have to limit myself in what I use! Also I'm gonna get a md a6 blank as my little sketchbook (I'm a digital illustrator but I got an huge artblock and I'm missing the feeling of drawing whatever and whenever) I am really considering creating a TH-cam channel, but my spoken English is ugly af
I really like your icon! I'm really tempted to get the Papertess planner but it's a bit too expensive just to try and the grid might be too small for me (4mm is it?). I watched your first impressions on it and was waiting for a little update. It's disappointing the paper wasn't what you were expecting. I'm glad you're gonna try to use it though! I haven't had a planner or proper journal in years but I bought an A6 kinbor planner for next year. Hopefully it's not too small. Anyway, I'm liking your channel a lot. But you're a terrible influence on my finances lol
I believe you’re right that it’s 4mm! It is definitely on the more expensive side, so I can understand why it’s not for everyone. The Kinbor is such a great alternative though, I think you will be happy with your choice 😊 It does also come in an A5 if you find the A6 is too small. Thank you! I really appreciate that 🥰 Sorry about your finances haha! 🤣🤣
To me decorating isn’t planning. Decorating is me getting ready to plan or decorating after I plan. However it is an essential part of planning for me. I enjoy it. It’s the creative part of my life. I want to surround myself with beautiful things to enjoy and it isn’t real expensive.
❤❤ loved the thoughtfulness of your lineup. I have three as well… maybe 4. I just need one but I love so many. 😅 where did you get the tabs for your paper Tess planner?
@ thank you for sharing! I am using the Hobonichi Hon as my prayer journal, rings with fcc inserts for work/catch all, Hobonichi weeks for personal edc. 🥰🥸
QOTD: What is your planner lineup for 2025? 📓🖋
The PaperTess Designs A6 ... will you help me set it up? 😇
Kinbor A6 and weeks, wonderland222 and a Take a Note 45!
sterling ink common planner a6 for journaling and hobonichi weeks for school/work

I got that kinbor after I watched your video!! so happy with it. i hope to use it for my mental health and health-related journal ❤
That makes me so happy! 🥹💓 thank you for updating me 🥰
I separate my monthly and my weekly from my dailies. I put my dailies in an undated journal. That way I don’t have blank wasted pages.
i have the same kinbor! i am so in love with the pattern
Omg twins! It's the cutest pattern ever 😍 Do you have a cover for yours? I purchased a Kinbor cover, but mine came broken, and doesn't even fit 🥲
Me too! It's so cute hey

Using post it notes with each to do on one note. That prevents from rewriting to dos.

I completely agree! I love decorating as well 😊
Nice speaking voice. Clear content. Able to say I don’t know c what I’m going to do here.
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed!
I am going to be using a Hobonichi cousin. I actually prefer the new paper.
So glad to hear you haven't been negatively affected by the 2025 Sanzen! 🥰
