aww man I love seeing all of these young babies doing it! and at such a high level. Awesome job to all the directors, parents and staff's. It would have been a tremendous idea if just one of the college bands did an exhibition for all of them kids.
Is the guy flag twirlers and banner carriers a New Orleans thing? They look good!! Glad marching bands are still alive as they are competing with cell phones and videos games for our kids attention.
I’ve never seen any of the young men twirl flags. They just hold the flag upright, just like the military guys do, but they do move the flag from side to side while doing these amazing dance moves. Their flags are taller than the traditional twirling flags.
They not for twirling just for attention from far away to mark theres a band approaching. The flag girls normally be in back of band with the short flags for twirling@@fountainmedia4683

Color guards / drill team ! Definitely N.O culture
@@Bookitbaby I didn’t understand your comment. Can you elaborate?
@@_1Brick1_young men with flags is the color guard, young men with swords dancing is the drill team. It’s New Orleans culture amongst school bands.

Where did this lepricaun dance come from by these drill teams
Since the 2010s
Good show . Why doesvthe banner carriers have to keep flipping and turning the banners as opposed to showcasing their name etc?
because it’s apart of the routine
These kids did so good. Just need to work on staying on foot. Seems like it affects the music a bit. Keep Showstyle bands alive.
I love the N.O. color guard culture.
13:13 bro needs to be playing basketball or football not band
