@@bishoppettylevert4224 I disagree. I think the antics is what has people thinking he won. The little tricks and stuff.. Little dude was better by a mile.
It's kinda hard to explain. But short dude was actually better at controlling his sticks. Think of it as both sticks never hitting the drum at the same time. Just a cleaner back and forth of the sticks hitting the drum.
I think maybe cus he had a small break in his flow, during one bit with doing a trick with the sticks. The little dude kept the flow in his drumming better, but it was close for sure ! 🙌🏼🔥 I wasn’t familiar with this style of battles it’s so sick !!!
@@illgates2940 seems like the shorter kid may have been "due" to win. Kind of like a way to keep spirits up 🤷🏽♂️ but I was calling all the winners before he did and that was the only one I didn't call like he did.
This was hard to watch but very exciting . They both are good friends and both play on the snare line at ADA . Congratulations to Young Myles . Only in 8th grade
@@ATLDRUMACADEMY most definitely! Both have bright futures and the ATL drum academy is a great support and teacher for these kids! However, ole boy in red was robbed, lol.
Myles played some more complex stuff. The other boy was playing fast but simple things. They both played fast and clean but fast and clean hybrid rudiments will usually win against fast and clean basic rudiments in a 1v1 battle. Also, instead of just playing rolls, paradiddle variations, and singles, Myles combined those with hybrid rudiments into his solo. Therefore, his win was well deserved. Lastly, ADA was the largest drumline there and had the largest amount of fan/parent support. So by default, they’re gonna be louder when ADA doesn’t win something. All in all, both did very well.
This is so sickkkk !!! I never knew there was battles like these, it pushes you to be creative with that single part of the entire drumkit. Biggg respect to these youngsters man it’s sooo crazy !!! The smaller kid was so good he never break his flow what led him to get the win 🙌🏼 respect ! 🫡
@@PBTexasBoy his last turn he stopped his cadence a bit, like he paused and it wasn’t clean. He played faster but the lil guy had more complexity and control

Taking nothing away from the all of the talent I just witnessed, they killed, BUT the advantage was clearly to the person who went second. All the second person had to do was outdo what they just witnessed instead of coming up with something they thought would win. You could even see the participants mouthing to their opponents before it was their turns as to who would go first.
I think that pause was unintentional. I think he loss control of his stick. And he missed his stick at the end. He walked off cool cuz he knew he slipped.
Red sweater dude did not get robbed. Just cuz he do a few tricks dont mean he won. Little dude was better by a mile. Coach knew what he heard vs what he saw. The crowd saw the antics, coach heard the chops… 😅
Lil man must've been the Judge Son!! Its No Way in Hockey Sticks the young man in Red loss to shortie. He Smoked him in their matchup. What was old boy looking at! smh Shout out to all the kids though, but that was Robbery!
I think they judged on overall and red hood didn’t try until his last up if you couldn’t tell. He demolished for sure at the end lol. Only thing I can think of
Bro in the red was nasty. He got robbed, still walked off like a G
@@bishoppettylevert4224 I agree. He actually got that one.

Great job to all these young people, keep playing and continue to pursue this path!

Bro I’m asking the same thing. Bro got robbed
@@PBTexasBoy his last turn he stopped his cadence a bit, like he paused and it wasn’t clean. He played faster but the lil guy had more complexity and control

The Brother in the RED all day
The red dude was amazing, seems better if they each go back and forth with two turns though.
Dude in the red won 💯
This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 can they make this state wide
That seemed personal what coach did to the guy in red 😂
We ALL missed the judge, take a DAB aka Stick Icky break, right before the red hood finale!!! 😂
But we need to see more ladies and more competitors like these gifted young people
It has to hard being a judge, like they all a BEAST 🧘🏿♂️💪🏿✨✨🧘🏿♂️...,....

I’m convinced drummers are not human
The little homie deserved it. And he is a gentleman as well
Kid in the Red should keep his head up....He smoked it.
That little kid, dayum!
Red hoodie is 🔥 crazy control with the variable speed.
Even the camera man knew the judge had judged that wrong.
Dude in red! Facts!
ROOOOOBBBBBBBEEEEEDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last 3 were insane. But it should've been super clean little man vs red fit
A lot of robberies happening. All super talented 👏
We need new ones. Great video
I think lil homie is his nephew because red hoodie won. But all of them did great. Keep pushing young Kings 👑
This better than idling at home!

How did dude in the red lose 🧐
I think that pause was unintentional. I think he loss control of his stick. And he missed his stick at the end. He walked off cool cuz he knew he slipped.
8:08 I heard that Drumline breakdown 🔥
The little one is very gifted.
Guy in red was 🔥
Fire this is what kids need
They all good
Judging was good up until that last battle towards the end, dude in red I feel edged out lil man
7:14 is when the real winner performed and then got booted.

Dude in the Jean jacket is talented but buddy in the red has that round
Awesome
Red Hood Bro🎉
We need a new judge
No, the judge was dead on accurate every time.
The judge was on ice
The kid in the red at the end got robbed.
I got red as the winner but lil man held it down
hold up so the one he points at loss or red hoodie got played
Shorty in the red definitely got played cuz he was tight!
The dude in red ❤
This judge was definitely hating on the dude in the red ! Bro was better than everybody on stage !
We are just different
Last year winner Boy in the red just got robbed. No way he lost that one
I think the young man in the red and the guy that won would have been a great battle
I was confused with the judge on the guy on the red hood
I don’t know anything about this sport and I know at the end the dude in red won…. Wonder if judge is related to smaller guy.
Nice❤
7:35, that was a bad call
❤✊🏽👊🏽
Judge need to loosen those strings on the Tims
Rex actually didn’t get robbed
The Red win
Red for the win
7:34 🤦🏽♂️ most important part of the video was this moment 😂.
The Red is the best
red hoodie got jipped!!!
Lil homie who won and red fit were the best but I think red fit got him when they went head to head….
Yo, that dude in the red was tough bro. I’ll understand that one.

NO WAY YOUNG BROTHER IN THE RED DID NOT WIN.
The short Brother was nice but...
RED DEFINITELY WAS THE BEST!
