Thanks Paul, this was a great training video. I got hit by a car last Tuesday and busted my Pelvis, so I’m living my disc golf life vicariously through videos like this for the next 6 weeks or so. Keep em coming please!
Hey Paul. I am quite new to disc golf. I have been watching through your videos, and I really appreciate how accessible your content is. Thank you for sharing so much knowledge and experience!
Montlake Terrace #11 is HEINOUS - long tunnel shot, always wet, brutal rough on either side, and joggers coming through at all times. The idea that he gets it to the basket with ANY kind of shot is ridiculous. Just shows you how elite the pros are.
Uli you're the man. Thanks for all these great tips on your channel. I have been going through the motions and these are great to help me prep for my first MA2 tourney. Keep kicking ass my friend!
Nice how that jogger didn't phase you. Rollers are the shot I'm trying to add to my bag and I'm digging these tips. I'll be hitting the field for this soon. Thanks and keep it up.
Great tip to focus on landing spot for rollers, Uli ! With my arm speed, my ‘comfortable angle’ is about 90 degrees 😂. But I’ll see if I can find a super under stable disc that will flip for me. Maybe an Archer.
Now why do you choose a more overstable disc for forehand rollers? Does it have more to do with its roll path once it's on the ground and rolling? Do you choose a more understable disc if you need a little bit more flight before the roller?
love the video as usual, good tips. Just curious if you always wait for a rainy day before recording a video? Seems like you film a lot in the rain LOL
Yo Paul that jogger killed me.🤣😂 Did you lose a disc?🥏 I like the idea of laying out discs as targets. Cool stuff, keep up the good work,... Uli da pimp!
Thanks Paul for this fairway-vids... More of this short clips "clinic/tutorial" videos from you and all the other Pro player would be nice! The only thing I didn't like so much is the background music... for ME you can skip this! (I thought some "pop-up" music hade turned on, on my computer when I watched this) ;-)
“Overtime you may lose a couple of discs.” What he meant: “Those discs are gone.” 😂🍻
He maybe could have shown us in an open field but he chose a path. What a Stud!
These are great short clips and when they’re over I always want more. Thanks 👍

Never even thought this far, when working on rollers. I gotta try this! Thanks for this drill!
We need some Uli Down the Fairway shirts. Keep it up Paul!
Do it....I'll buy them
Best roller explanation and tips on TH-cam. Thanks Paul for all these great insights. Well done.

Love the random jogger at the beginning of the video
I want to be the guy in my DG club who throws rollers and parks the basket. Legendary. Thanks for the inspiration, Uli.
Wow, great idea to have the 3 disks to aim at. Love your videos. 🤔😀😁
The roller is something I definitely need to work on. More so the backhand roller. Thanks Uli
Your content is the best Uli!
Honestly paul, you're changing the whole discgolf youtube game. I've been learning so much from your videos. Keep it up!
The most informative disc golf channel
Liked it before I watched it, these are awesome Uli, keep it up!
Follow up: I learned something new that I can use to better my game :)

Thanks for the tips. I’ve never been able to throw a roller this should for sure help
Keep crushing it Paul. Great stuff!!!
Great episode of a great series Uli. Keep it up!

woot. loving your videos

I suggest a Freedom. I have an ok arm and it loves to turn over on a backhand. For a forehand, my Katana will flip over nicely and catch a good edge.
Thank you, Chris! I will look into those discs to see what works for me. Appreciate the help! 👍🏼
As always... Thumbs up!
Like freakin butter, Uli. Thanks again.
Definitely sending this video to some of the guys on our DG crew. They try to throw rollers but maybe 1 in 5 are successful.
you should do a down the fariway from Tall Firs. that would be awesome
Nice tutorial!
Great tip

I’d love a down the fairway on an aspect of putting. Maybe how to throw different angles putts? I struggle hard with anhyzer putts.
Same here, can't get a consistant anhyzer angle release.
@@HuckingPlastic Yeah it's a hard shot to get consistant. But very useful when you do
Practice them until you get it?

Any chance of a video on weight shift...I have really strong legs but I don't feel like I'm getting them involved in my drives.

Pac NW
What are you throwing for backhand rollers? I know you said pre Discraft you were throwing a lightweight “paper plate”.
D, Avenger SS, Beat Esp Nuke, And the Z heat.

I want to get better at bh rollers, so now I know to use an understable disc 😁
I think I’ll start in the field 😀 btw. Couldn’t see your backhand throws. They were off camera.
good stuff!
Down the Fairway!
which disc are best to fight headwind?
Is this hole at Mountlake Terrace near Seattle??
Sure is! Hole 11
Makes sense
Shoutout to the guy running through the video

So I am definitely not using any tour series as rollers then...........? 😉 😂
👍
@3;12 I was just about to ask...
💵🔥🔥
But I thought we already did number 5? LoL
Thank you for saying that early. Didn’t catch that lol.
#bingeworthy
Lost all my discs!
Lol
All those runners with a blind what appears left turning hole, yikes
first!
Would have been nice to see you actually throw them instead of just seeing only the disc
