If he had to force his way between Christon and Westbrook, then someone is out of position. He's allowed the position on the circle. From the rule book:
"Player position on the restraining circle is determined by the direction of a player’s basket. The player whose basket is nearest shall have first choice of position, with positions being alternated thereafter."
"Positions being alternated" means that Christon and Westbrook should not be standing next to each other. The spot was Steph's to take. Christon thought he could push Steph and found out that he couldn't. The THUNDER were the ones backing up in that scrum. Anyone with eyes can see.

What I get out of that is, besides the rebounds (which I'll point out almost ALL were defensive and I'm convinced his team lets him grab them to stuff the stat sheet), Westbrook has been pretty tame. Those are really poor shooting numbers for him and an insane amount of Turnovers. Look at how significant a difference there is when he's on the floor in the +/- category. Credit on the assists but I think Curry deserves a tiny bit more here considering that he managed to get 30 while GSW, as a team averaged 45% more assists than OKC did (118-81). There's more ball movement and sharing and yet he still put up a decent number verses Westbrook who hogs the ball. Of course he gets all the assists for the team. There's no way he doesn't. Also, credit on the blocks. Wesbrook definitely hustles enough to get some.

LosAngelesBaller When did celebrating become banned? Why can't a guy celebrate when he hits a shot? Especially the type of shots he's known to make? If a dude in a neighborhood gym can do a little celebration after hitting a 3 on a dude that's 5' 8", why can't curry celebrate after hitting a 3 in the place where basketball is played to its highest skill level? Not just curry either, if anyone hits shots, good ones, why should they be berated for celebrating? Doesn't matter if you're curry, westbrook, lebron, or harden, if you hit an impressive shot, especially if you do it more than once or twice a season, go ahead, celebrate. You put in hundreds of hours of many years developing that skill, take pride and joy when it shows.
I don't know man I just get annoyed with how self centered and self glorifying athletes are these days. Curry played the nice guy, born again christian act and really seems to be nothing but an arrogant showboat. I'm a cavs fan and sometimes get annoyed with how Lebron thinks he is God but at least he doesn't try to pretend that he is not cocky. Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't think that this generation of selfies, showboating, "stare downs", "me first",and narcisistic tendencies is good for sports or even humanity for that matter.
