      Derran Wood ummm u biased lol I wouldn’t say all that. Tho to me he was the most athletic pg alongside Westbrook but he’s better than Westbrook. And changing direction speed while dribbling...Nobody can hold a candle to Rose he was ungaurdable period.. It makes me hate injuries because we missed a lot of greats that should of been. Rose would of definitely won a championship but idk about no 4 lol and 4 mvps while Lebron and giannis and KD and steph all the others up and coming during that time to ....you’re just being ignorant and biased now. He would of been one of the best pgs ever for sure but best pg all time...he would of had to prove stuff and he may have if the injury wouldn’t of happened. But it’s a lot of great Pgs and his defense was ok and may have gotten better we don’t know. But u just riding him like these Lebron sexuals lol

    • @RashBoogieTV
      @RashBoogieTV 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I see what you’re saying but that wasn’t the question that was asked. They’re the same age so they went through their prime at the exact same time (they’re now at the tail end of that). MVP Rose was MVP Rose way before his prime (which made him so great at the time). Triple Double Westbrook reached that during his prime years while injuries stunted Rose’s potential during those same years. That’s why Gil is saying it’s unfair. MVP Rose vs Triple Double Westbrook is the question I think was meant to be asked.

      @smokinjoe006 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree. I think Gilbert over thought a simple question. Prime D rose or prime Westbrook? Yes they're the same age but that's kinda irrelevant. All its asking is Rose at his PEAK(prime) or Westbrook at his? So there's nothing "unfair" about the question imo. My pick would be D Rose. Gilbert just didn't wanna give a straight answer on some politically correct B.S. lol

      @@gild651 A triple double in the regular season doesn't bring your team deep into the playoffs. Rose took his team to the eastern conference finals and Russ couldn't make it out the first round with his team. People should make these initial judges based on playoff performances, that's like saying James Harden is top 5 of all time because of his insane regular season stats.
      Also, Russ's game would be detrimental if he were on a talented team because he demands the ball, and doesn't spread the floor out which is important asf. Only Durant can hang with him, but that's not saying much since Durant can play for any team and strive

He was a different bread, he could also read defenses better as well. Westbrook has high intensity and high motor but still relies primarily on athleticism. D Rose was dropping bombs at the end his 3pt game was scary and his overall jump shot was beginning to wreck people. Better passer and I’d say about the same leaping ability. Rose had a killer mentality but he was way more level headed better leader. I’m team Rose all the way glad he was able to come back and continue to do what he loves 🙌😁

      Russ cannot lead a team though. Lets be honest. Very explosive but idk man. Maybe its how emotional and passionate he is. But even today, to lead a team... im picking D Rose. Basketball i not about personal skill and stats. Rose made all his TEAMS better. Russ may share the ball or whatever but it didnt result to wins and didnt get his teams far.

      I dont wanna hear it lol. Although i agree, imagine Russ under Pop. Now imagine Rose under pop. Pop definitely would have had Westbrook on a straighter path(which probably would have resulted in him never averaging a triple double due to a strict role and play calls). But look what Rose did under Tibbs. So just imagine Pop. Rose is way more coachable. Way better point guard. Way better adapter.

      The fact that a prime Russel Westbrook is being debated against 21-22 year old Drose just shows that Rose was better😂. He was better than Westbrook in college, he was better than Westbrook in 2011, and if he didn’t get injured he would’ve been better in their prime.

    • @Kmasetv
      @Kmasetv 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      FrenzyWrld how is Westbrook a more complete player, and better leader? As the number one option has he been out of the first round? Derrick Rose was in yr. 3 and the only real offensive threat on the team playing in the eastern conference finals. KD left because he’s not a complete player and he plays the same speed in the last 2 min of the game as the first. Also relies primarily on athleticism. Still had not developed a reliable jump shot. And still hasn’t learned how to play the point guard position and has no pace to his game. 🤦🏾‍♂️ that’s didn’t make any sense 😂
