Great to have it from both of your perspectives both having a window seat ( I hate sitting in the middle or aisle).
Got to say I found it very dissapointing that you had to close the window blinds in broad daylight ! That would really do my head in on a long flight of that duration. Much prefer to be looking out even when its dark. Interesting wallpaper design in the lavatory

We were also both thrilled that we made it, the whole point of this route was so that we could try the China Airlines Premium Economy product. The experience was fantastic and we highly recommend it to fellow travelers flying with this airline. We are always disappointing when we are asked to close the windows on these flights as we love watching the view down below also. In this case it was a little strange as it only took an hour or two before it got dark outside. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of seafood,nice to see! Great great vlog! I needed a long tall glass of cold orange juice after seeing that airport run! It was fun seeing you two comment on the trip in tandem, certainly a bit different than usual. Happy to hear Maro's opinions, more from her in future would be very nice. The A350 looks like a fantastic aircraft. The meals looked very tasty indeed.

We were both shouting at the tv run run run lol , so glad you made the flight and wow it looked a lovely airline and the food looked superb . Hello again Mr and Mrs Watford Fc, lovely to hear from you again and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed it! It was quite a run wasn´t it?! We were not so much worried about missing the plane (we would always be put on another flight), we were very worried about missing the airline as we had really been looking forward to trying China Airlines for quite some time and they did not disappoint! Regarding Premium Economy Class, we actually did not pay extra for it! When we booked our tickets on Expedia (as we always do) the outward flight only had tickets available in Premium Class, no Economy Class choice? Perhaps China Airlines was having a campaign to promote it, either way we did not complain, HeHe. The homeward journey was on Economy Class (watch out for that Tripreport in the future). Hope you are having a lovely weekend? The weather here in Denmark is fantastic so we are off for a bicycle ride in the nearby countryside and I will practice flying the drone as I wrote on Facebook. I had to run to make a connection in Schiphol airport due to a late inbound flight. A 2 hour connection became a half hour connection. Well it turns out the outbound flight got delayed too. I love how the agents were waiting for you and said you were early!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! What led us to Taipei? When we were kids many products had the label on them "Made in Taiwan". Now that we are grown up we decided that we wanted to see the place that made so many products we have used!! Thanks to this video I have now decided that when I fly to London next year I will be flying China Airlines Premium Economy. It is cheaper than most other airlines but I was a little worried as it's not a well known airline, this video has allayed any fears so thank you. Also I have decided to spend a few days in Taipei based on your other excellent videos.

@@TravellerYT ..I fly this airline from YVR in PE several times a year to my Thai home. Cabin is smaller than most other airlines, dedicated washrooms, seats that slide forward, and I've certainly located the snack area at the front of the cabin! Great review and glad you made the flight! EVA is my other choice, but notice they are now charging for seat selection if you purchase the PE basic fare, whereas China Airlines at the moment doesn't.
What a great video! One your best! How stressful. We had a difficult transit at Schipol at Christmas as there was massive queues for immigration between the gates. When we fly to Singapore via Frankfurt we are going to use the gate to gate service as extra insurance!
Yes, I use gate-to-gate service too. Advancing age has slowed me a bit, but even when the scheduled time to connect is sufficient, the service is insurance against a late-arriving inbound.

I spent time at the lounge at AMS on my Father's and my way to Iceland on Iceland Air We had a nice cruise from Tampa to Amsterdam and a nice 4 days in Amsterdam in April. The weather was perfect no rain! We had a day of 22 Celcius and other days around 18. Enjoyed a day at the Rajkismuseum a cruise on the Canals and Van Gough Museum. Our proprietor of the apartment took us on a walking tour of Amsterdam and gave us the history. I pent a day in Vondell Park!
Iceland was nice and we enjoyed the Blue Lagoon!
In July I spent a month in Israel and had a great fiight!
I love flying around the world!

China Airlines seems a fantastic airline to fly with. Their service is terrific as judged by your report. I think you had your coke with rum. By the way... your pronauncion of " echte boter" is quite good as Dutch is a difficult language for foreigners. But I know (I have Norwegian friends) that the Scandinavian languages have similarities to the Dutch language. I want to say that I always appriciate your reports, they're the best! I been to Taipei airport before when I first visited Cambodia back in May 2014. Taipei airport is a nice place to layover. We flew on Eva air that I first visited Cambodia in 2014. Hey, I flew on China Eastern plane this year that I first visited Thailand in May this year of 2018. The airport in China is a wonderful place, I went to a Panda store that has a lot of Panda stuff.

The food looked really good. I think part of that is because it was catered out of Schipol. I've flown the A350 MAN to IAH on SQ and loved it.
The food was excellent in our opinion. China Airlines Premium Economy was an absolute pleasure to experience! Nice that you have also had the chance to try the A350, it is a nice aircraft to fly with.

Hello from Canada ... I just stumbled onto your video ... My husband and I may be flying China Airlines from Vancouver to Taipei in April. I'm very curious about the seat in premium economy. Were you able to sleep at all? It seems as though it doesn't recline much. I know you mentioned there was a lot of leg room, and that the foot rest was great, but not much was said about the the calf rest. Did you find it helpful? I loved your video. Very informative ... and you guys are so cute!! I'll be looking at your other videos soon. Have you flown Cathay Pacific?

We had a fantastic flight with China Airlines Premium Economy and both slept very well in the seats (although not long at a time because we wanted to enjoy and film the experience). The seat recline was just fine. Maro enjoyed using the calf rest although for me (Maxi) and the length of my legs it was not useful at all. There was not enough space for the legs to stretch out. We have not flown with Cathay Pacific yet but do hope to do so in the future as we have heard goo things about that airline. Excellent video of CI A350 Maxi and Maro. First time to heard the surname at AMS which not for public. Glad you and her made to the plane and lucky upgrade to premium economy window seats. The CI flight attendants are amazing like EVA Air. You had a free gift bag. I got mine a free gift bag from my previous flight BR25 SEA-TPE winter ago. This route used to be A340 and stopover in BKK before. CI A350 looked new and more effective than old A340. The meals and snack are very delicious. Amenity kits are nice.

The gift bag was a nice touch from the crew, that was very kind of them and very much appreciated by us. Meals, Amenity Kit and onboard service were all excellent. Excellent video! Watched it till 30 min. Will watch rest tomorrow. Really liked the systematic approach and your informative narrative. Apart from the fact that I hope she really scratched you when she saw the vid and heard you saying: she is faster today than usual :)) It was whisky in the coke i assume btw. So far the product looks nice..apart from the plastic cutlery and cups..but then came the point i told myself I will never fly this airline: I HATE when you are forced to close the windows at day flights..soo rediculous. I wonder though whether they enforced this policy also in business class..some airtlines close the windows in economy, but dont (dare to) do this to their Buasiness passengers..not even to mention first class. Thank you very much for sharing so far..and I also enjoyed the dramatic start lol.

She (Maro) did not have to scratch me HeHe, if you watch some of our other videos you will see how fast Maro is walking at airports (particularly when we are delayed), I (Maxi) can hardly keep up, so faster than usual really does mean faster than usual (no implication that she is ever slow). Whisky it was, one of my favorites in the past but as one get´s older and taste changes we both find it a little sweet. We do not enjoy having to close the windows either, at least not as early us most airlines make you do on Long-haul flights. As Maro says, we are given eye masks (which are quite effective) so those who do want to sleep could use those. Judging from other comments, there are many other travelers who do not lie the "Closing Windows" policy either. We have watched your vids in the past and do hope that you will begin uploading regularly again! Flying Cathay Pacific they stopped serving Haagan Das ice cream and switched to the Movenpick brand - much softer.
It´s nice that so many of the Asian Airlines serve ice cream, it´s very refreshing to have on a flight. Cathay Pacific is one of the airlines we are looking forward to trying! How far back can you recline in these premium economy seats? I have only flown on Cathay Pacific premium economy on several Asia trips and that seat class is quite comfortable. Considering PE seats on China Airlines to Vietnam, they have a very convenient flight that is now being offered at a closer airport to us, rather than our usual LAX :)
I am surprised they did not offer you a cart service for the transfer.

Both the seating and food in Premium Economy were amazing, we can easily recommend this "product" to fellow travelers flying with China Airlines. We actually did not even pay extra for this class, we think China Airlines must have been having a campaign to promote this class. The homeward journey was in Economy Class. The cabin decor is rather posh. Very different to others I’ve seen. Emirates is perhaps my favourite due to the twinkling ceiling lights depicting the night sky as you sleep.

Actually, it may be the busiest international route. But the busiest route overall is Seoul to Jeju in Korea. A plane leaves Seoul for Jeju Island on average every 15 minutes.

Can you change the Chinese translation of the title? Because it is not China Airlines, it is Chinese Airlines, and recently because of the problem of the name, the airline also wants to change Chinese Airlines to Taiwan Airlines!

As i am an aircraft mechanic ( A 320, A 320neo, A 330 & A 330neo ) working for the Lufthansa Group i really wonder why Airbus installed ashtrays in the toilets. We asked several times but never received an answer.
