@PrettyboyAshtun that's absolutely what I'm saying 106%. I'm so glad someone saw it and got what I was saying. because when i was younger, my mom let me watch Scooby-Doo where are you, and I would get scared at watching it, my mom didn't understand why I was scared she told me it's just Scooby-Doo. I like it, but it used to scare the piss out of me.
Oh man, I never did watch Scrappy doo. I remember the christmas special one, and man, that was kinda weird what i remember from a decade ago. But if this video hits 100 likes, I guess I'll start working on it. It seems like a lot of people like this video. I don't know how long it would take to make it because I probably have to binge watch all the scrappy doo episodes, but not impossible for me to do!
The original scrappy series in 1979 had four seasons and the when the first episode from s1 called the blue scarab the mystery gang we're all involved till season 2 when now it was just Scooby shaggy and scrappy with out the gang. It to bad it didn't have the gang no longer be in the series when the seasons were still going
Yeah, but it just a thumbnail. I try to make it where everyone understands what I was talking about but also interesting honestly I want to take a trip down memory lane and see if people thought the same and it seem people did understand what I was saying why it was so scary. and I'm glad for that.
@Americarocks64 it just wasn't one of my favorite episodes. I know they are people who like the snow ghost. I just didn't like it it's just a me thing.
I wonder if the Phantom Shadow episode missing from Max has to do with its allusions to the Confederacy from the Civil War, though despite that, they still have the Chinese episode where Shaggy does the racist impression, so I don't know.
@jamescostigan5765 I thought the same thing. When I thought about it. *IF* that is the case, and it's why that episode got pulled from Max, I think it's a very stupid decision, and it's not going to push equality forward all it looks like to me is getting mad at a 60 year old cartoon mentioning civil war uniforms. instead of changing our future for the betterment of mankind. It just sounds so petty. There are a lot of things going on in the world. And rewriting old episodes, scooby doo from 60 years ago doesn't seem to be necessary to me when people can't pay house payments, can't find girlfriends/boyfriends, can't make the american dream possible etc.. but to rap it up. I'm not saying those episodes are not racist or not bad it depends on what you think about it. I think you have to adapt and acknowledge. That yeah, that was pretty bad, but I also acknowledge that it came at a different time when it wasn't seem in bad taste.
the classic artstyle made it scary

I personally thought they toned the creep factor down a bit in season 2. It was still creepy in some moments but not as much as season 1.
I love this show.
Great video.
Love it. You should do scrappy doo next and rank the monsters

Damn that's some knowledge I didn't know about.
They should make a series about you Fred… Like they did with Velma… Well maybe not Velma.
Happy birthday.😊
The episode that scared me as a kid was scooby doo and vampire bats and scaredy cats
Shouldn't we want the monsters to be scary?
