Great video. The perfect length. I was hoping you would rebuild the brakes while you were in there. Can’t wait for another upload.

Thanks very much, I really appreciate the feedback. The very first video I made for this channel is about rebuilding brakes. Even though its about 4 piston Brembo brakes it's the same principle as many other disc brakes, so you could take a look at that one. Cheers!

Thanks Mark much appreciated. I love it when people comment to give feedback. Hopefully this video and the others in the series will help people out and know what’s involved whether they take on this task themselves or entrust their mechanic with the job. Cheers

Another great video as usual. I love the detail and all the cleaning. Very much how I like to work!

Thanks Lenny. yeah it was a cleaning frenzy this episode. It took so long to film and edit this video and when it didn't get many views its disheartening. So I really appreciate when people watch and make the effort to write a comment. I believe people commenting adds to the YT algorithm and when TH-cam think people like it, they push it out to others who they think will like it too. And after saying all that... its a very small percentage of people who will watch a video like this, if they are not about to take on the transmission remove & replace job. And in reality most people don't do complex work on their cars anyway. so once again thanks mate.

Always epic videos with lots of good detail and editing. I’m not so much into too much background music - at least not turned up in the mix. Is it possible to add all torque specs to your transcript or is that too much of a mission. Great work!!

Thanks for the feedback. I usually do voiceover for about half of the video and I guess it is more engaging to watch instead of music with text to read. I'll keep that in mind for future videos.
Including all the torque settings does get complicated for a few reasons:
My service manual is not specifically for this Australian delivered Type R DC2. (Most of the manual is for the USDM standard Integra) Sometimes there are incorrect torque values in service manuals which I have found in Mitsubishi and Subaru Service Manuals. If a bolt goes into alloy or if it has oil or anti-seize on it then the torque value won't be correct either. Some bolts or self locking nuts are to be torqued once and then replaced if removed. And also some people don't use torque wrenches properly or have them checked or calibrated so I don't want to endorse a torque value without all of this comment. So yeah it can get messy and too wordy. But I'll keep thinking about this too cheers.
