Hey I just got my first one of these today and it said it was a really hard plant to care for but I’ve wanted one so bad so I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video girl you making me feel so much better about my purchase you’re awesome!❤️
I do believe yours is a regular confetti syngonium and not a milk, BUT I would get it under a strong ass grow light and see if gets lighter to be sure ❤ fingers crossed you scored the milk ! I want one soooooo badly ! Have a regular confetti and I love it so much !!
I actually bought regular syngonium from a bonsai shop. It was green when I brought it home, but as it was exposed to the light from the bathroom window - it started popping out pink speckles. I paid $3 for it! It was worth more!
I believe it is a different from milk confetti which is more uncommon. Probably a confetti Syngonium. :) Your care tips will most likely work for both, thank you for that :)
I just found this video and I am a proud owner of one of these and so far I have noticed that it is a very easy plant I just repotted it and removed all of the soil it was in and it hasn’t shown any signs of stress at all I can’t wait to see what it will do in the next couple of months
LOVE!! syngonium are one of my favorites! I have started a collection of pink syngonium and someday I want to make a big pot of all of them! my confetti only has 4 leaves right now but someday I hope it will be as gorgeous as your own!
This looks like a regular “confetti” which is much more common and cheaper than the actual milk confetti. Milk confetti has white petioles with pink lines through them.
Syngoniums are one of my favorites! Confetti is next on my wishlist! Someone recently gifted me an albo syngonium cutting from one of my plant groups and I’m just keeping my fingers crossed I get one of these gifted or find one for an affordable price soon! Yours is gorgeous!
I have a mottled/army syngoniums that I'm growing as a water plant. ( the only way I've kept syngoniums alive) I think I want to make a bouquet of syngoniums. I did this with my aglaonemas and they are thriving!
I’m having the same problem with my chiapence. I’ve had it for a few months and it is doing nothing. This spring, I am going to put her outside and see what happens.
I might be wrong, but that looks a lot like a pink confetti rather than a milk confetti. Milk confettis are much whiter than the regular confetti, are much more rare and might be the reason why the plant shop was selling for so much? Again, I might be wrong but wanted to point it out
Interesting… when it was sent to me we both thought it was milk confetti based on pictures. and it does look much paler in person than it’s showing up on camera so I’m fairly certain it is. I’ll have to look out for comments now though because I’m wondering if I’m wrong! Hmmm🤔
@@approachableplantsbyjessie495 thanks so much for the response! It could definitely be a milk confetti because, as you said, the camera might have made the colours look darker. Either way, it’s still such a beautiful plant and I love watching your videos - you’re always so positive, humble and approachable! Keep doing what you’re doing!
This feedback is so amazing thank you so much for being here🥺 I’ve been looking through the comments and I’m still not sure exactly what variety it is but I may change the title if people seem to come to the consensus that it’s regular. It is lighter in person but I also didn’t even realize there was a difference until today so I could totally be dead wrong ahaha
I'm a syngonium killer. I want the albo like you have, but I'll kill it so I don't order one. I have 'Holly' and it only lives because I pretty much forget about it. I keep buying the pretty pink ones, but end up giving them all away before I kill them. Did you see my IG post today? I wanted you to see my whale fin arrangement. It's way over the top.
Maybe it’s a confetti and not a milk confetti? If the petioles have specks of pink, it’s a milk confetti which tends to be more expensive. Leaves are also lighter than a regular confetti.
You have a syngonium confetti....not a milk confetti. What you have is not as rare as the syngonium milk confetti. The milk confetti has a light, creamy mint green colored leaf
let's NOT talk about how i was cooking with tumeric right before i filmed and have yellow on my face😅 yikes jess
Ha! But really I didnt even notice! I think you look great.🙂
So embarrassing😂🤭 but thank you!!!
@@approachableplantsbyjessie495 well try not to be too embarassed. Pobody's nerfect. We dont (and shouldnt) expect perfection. 😁😁😁
i bought this without knowing anything about it so super glad it’s easy to take care of lol

Thanks for the tips girl

What a steal, congratulations!
New plant mom here 🙌 just got my first syngonium and it’s this one!! Just tap water is good? Thanks! Love your channel ❤️
Water only when soil is almost dry, mine does fine

Awesome video. I have a Syngonium Confetti, but unsure on when or how to propagate it. Any tips and hints?

They are one of my favorites too! I want to collect all of them but I also fine them to be quite finicky so we have a love hate relationship😂
Thanks for the info.. just got a cutting from a friend now I feel a bit more confident 🙂

Yes! I think the consensus may be that this is a regular one. I didn’t even know there was a difference’

Thank you! Syngoniums are my one of my favorites as well!
The pink is so cute!
Ugh I love it🥺
I’ve been wanting to get one of these (or pink splash or pink spot) for a while!! Great video :)
i also have a pink splash! i love it and it's so pretty but i do find it to be pretty needy and high maintenance
@@approachableplantsbyjessie495 Good to know!! I definitely feel like some syngonium are trickier than others.
Lol "down to clown"! Cracked me up. 🤣

molted army?!? I’ve never heard of that one before! I love how many incredible varieties of syngoniums there are it’s so fun to discover new ones!
love that shirt, you look so cute
I ordered a second one oopps

You’re brave to put it outside! I’m so scared to put houseplants outside, I’ll only do it to ones that I don’t really care too much about
The plants love it. They grow so well. I do have a covered porch.
@@MaryDavisBrown really?? ugh i have a nice patio in our new apartment and i would love to try putting some out there but i'm so scared!
Milk Confetti has white with pink spotted petioles and the Confetti has green petioles. I have the milk confetti.
Yup this is regular confetti

Check the petiole, milk confetti should have specks of pink on it.
Jessie take some no filter photos and do a poll on IG...but id definitely go with the petiole colour 🌱
Oooo what a good idea!

I totally kill syngoniums too they definitely can be tricky! What’s your Instagram though??
I found mine at Kroger for $10!
I got one for around 4 dollars. I like it but it doesn't want to grow :(

Yes I think in the comments we make have concurred that it might be a regular confetti!
Would only not when leafs droop, not a good idea, water when soil is almost dry.she gave wrong info.any humidity try window to see if thats ok?
this is a regular confetti. not milk.
the milk confetti leaves are a more matte white color.
this is just a regular confetti.
there IS a difference.
I burned all my Syngoniums with too much light B) Oh how lucky I am. My Neon Robusta is still recovering.. Kinda? 🤡
