So glad I came across your channel today! Im so excited to have found someone who loves syngoniums as much as I do!!! You have a couple that are on my wishlist. But lets talk about your PINK TRELLIS. Girl, it's so stunning. I love it so much! Thanks so much for sharing💕💕💕
Yay welcome!!!!💕💕💕 The trellis was a fun project and I have no regrets. Love it so much!!!! Very happy to have you here especially since you love Syngonium as much as I do 🥰🥰🥰.
Holy moly Gena, I had no idea there were so many varieties of syngonium!! I like them all but the ones with the pink splashes and spots are really pretty.. and the Panda was pretty awesome too. Great video.. thanks for sharing 👍
Just got into syngoniums . I have 8 . Cuttings from a friend, 2 from a big box store and 5 online, but not Etsy. Will have to check that out. Love all your plants, some I have not seen before. Just subscribed today.
Hi Paula!!! Thanks for subscribing!!!! I actually have a few more than what is in this video. I need to do an update on these for sure. I am such a huge fan of Syngonium. They bring me sooo much joy. Thank you again 🥰.
Happy New Year Gena (January 1, 2024). Lol, as I'm binge watching your videos, I'm trying not to constantly comment - sorry). You have a wonderful Syngonium Collection. I'm digging the Lance Leaf, Mojito, and Angustatum, as well as others😂. Thanks for sharing👏🪴
i never really find any but the plain pink with some green to it, all they sell in my area, i would love to find on etsy the green with the darker green,
That syngonium pink splash that has different look is actually a pink splash allusion and a bit pricier here where I live than the regular pink splash. Both are gorgeous tho! Syngonium is also my favorite genus ❤️
Hi! Yes, I discovered that difference after making this video and was so happy to have both types. I ended up chopping my regular pink splash up and making a bunch of babies out of it and then accidentally sold every one of them, thinking I still had the mother plant (but didn’t). Now I only have the pink splash allusion left in my collection. But it’s beautiful and actually I prefer it over the other 😊. My red spot tricolor is very similar too so I don’t feel like I need to replace my regular pink splash. Syngonium are fabulous 💚💚💚.
Hi, Nicole! Thank you 😊. I used to be really into terracotta with patina but as of recently it has been grossing me out lol. Maybe it’s just a phase I’m going through 😁. Thanks again!
Hi Gena bears! This was such a nice video and nice time and what beauties!!! Your new pots are amazing! The green looks so nice with all your other decor and with the pink! Love both styles of pots you got! So so happy for you....well I was making a list while watching.....and it got big! I love how the white butterfly looks in the pink pot...so perfect...I love both the confettiis...the pink fleck, the lance leaf....and the ones I need to add for sure are....the 3 kings (wow), the green splash.(no words for that one!)..so so beautiful, the chiapense, the pink splash, ( it is burned in my mind), and the Aurea!! I still can't believe syngonium was my first houseplant....and how just this last year or two I have come to love them more and more! Your trellis setup is working out so so nice and I just loved everything about your collection...thanks for making me love my syngoniums more! I guess my wishlist is getting longer and longer! There is the one you got local with some pink...more rounder leaves.....I have that one too and I love it....maybe the leaf shape and just the color, it is one I find to be staring at often...well sweet butterfly thanks for all your hard work and watching your videos are always a highlight to my day!...long hugs................................♡tina
Hi, Tina!!!! I finally got notification of your post 😊. Syngonium are just the perfect plants I think. So many different colors and patterns and shapes! They are fun to collect. I wish all of them were more readily available locally. Unfortunately it involves a lot of online shopping to get them. But I was just looking online and it seems they are coming down in price a little bit. So that helps! I do have a couple more that I’d eventually like to add on to my collection 😊. Sooo happy to see you this week….I hope you have a great new week. Love ya 😘.
Your babies are beautiful! I have two so far but, I don't have the names for them. They are Home Depot adoptees. One is a deep pink with sharp pointed leaves ( they look like an arrow) and the other is a light green with a pink vein in the leaves. And this is growing like a wild child and it's beginning to vine. I can't wait to see more from you 💕.
Hi! Thank you so much!!! Sounds like possibly a Pink Neon Robusta and a Mango Allusion. Both such beautiful plants :). Thank you for watching...happy to have you here!!!!!
I made a list of which syngoniums you have. I have 13 starting with the one Ive had for many years. Have no idea which variety. Back then it was just called podophyllum and/or arrowhead plant!! Yours are so beautiful. most of mine still pretty small!! Yes, my angustatum is growing really fast!!👍❤️
Hi, Anita! That’s great to know! I think mine had issues being in terracotta as opposed to it being a humidity problem then. This gives me confidence….thank you 💚💚💚
Oh my gosh you should add more to your collection 😬😬 I'm also a syngonium worshipper. I'm from Indonesia and I haven't found anyone from overseas showing off their syngonium green flecked. You should google it because it's so pretty and unique, the leaves are little wrinkly. Perhaps it is sold with different name there. Also, syngonium rayii is still rare but it's very similar to wendlandii. You'd love that one too! I hope your syngoniums are all thriving ♥️🌿
Hi, Rebecca! I would love to add more but my focus/money has been on other things at the moment. Future me will keep those suggestions in mind, especially the syngonium green flecked...I'll definitely google that one!!!! Thank you sooo much!!!! All are doing really well :).
I have one I bought labeled as Pink Perfection, it’s a cooler toned pink, the leaves longer and more “arrowy”…..just got another pink one, not labeled, leaves are more rounded and more of a coral pink, and the little casings the leaves come out of are pink too. I read Pink Allusion has those pink casings, and based on photos online, that’s what I think it might be. I also have Milk Confetti. So pretty.
If you have a porch try your angustatum outside next summer. Their leaves get HUGE! All my Syngoniums are outside in the summer, except for my Chiapense and my red spot tricolor
Ok you know it but the first pink splash is the allusion, and i bought it as baby plant for 50 € 2/5 years ago. 😅 My collection: Red Heart Milk Confetti Pink Splash Allusion Red Spot Tricolor Green Splash/Grey Ghost Erythrophyllum (Red Arrow) Rayii Trileaf Wonder Spear Point Mutation
I'm so glad!!!! I really like them too. In fact, I just purchased a new one. It's been quite a while since I've added a new one to my Syngonium collecton. Thanks for watching!!!!
Hi I have a 3 king syngouim, it's small and would like to know how to grow it it seems so pretty if I could get it to grow, but it's Oct now so I may not get any thing growing Thanks Anna
@@annalawton8163 The 3 kings seems to be a slower grower in my experience. Most likely because it has quite a bit of lighter coloration on the leaves. In my experience the variegated varieties of plants tend to be slower growers because of that. Scientifically speaking, they have less chlorophyll in those leaves and that is the reason for the slower growth. I've personally noticed this difference in growth rate within my collection. Now....in my grow tent the 3 kings grows faster than in ambient condition and that is a result of the warmer temps and higher humidity. So if you really want to grow that one "faster", give it great light, high humidity, and warm temperatures. Which will be easier to do during the summer, unless you have a grow tent or cabinet. Hope this helps. Thanks :)
Hi!!!! Thank you so much!!! I’ve purchased quite a few plants from The Green Escape and I’ve been very happy with what I’ve received. They can be a little slow with shipping, so if you’re in a hurry, keep that in mind. They carry Syngonium too. I can’t think of any other shops to recommend. I typically just go with “star sellers” on there. I do have a shop myself and I do sell Syngonium. I am not a large volume shop though. But I will have more varieties available very soon. Thepinktrellis.com 😊. Thanks again 🥰
Thank you! I haven’t! But I know they are and I’m constantly looking for them. Just a few days ago I thought I might have seen some but I couldn’t tell for sure. So I just immediately treated, just in case! Trust me….I’m looking daily 😊.
Do you have your syngoniums attached to the lattice to climb up? I've been thinking about doing the same because moss poles and planks look hideous while the plant is growing.
The pests I've dealt with on these Syngoniums are spider mites and fungus gnats. Not currently having issues though. Took awhile to defeat the spider mites. Haven't seen any for quite awhile now. I used Azamax consistently over several months. Thanks so much!!!!
Hi, Patti! Thanks!!! So I would say no they don’t. There are a few in my collection that will just stay bushy and I don’t believe they will ever try to vine. That would be the white butterfly, and pretty much all of my Allusion series. They grow in a bushy sort of pattern. You’ll recognize the ones that want to be trellised…they’ll start vining. They can hang and not be trellised, but you’ll get bigger sized leaves if you give them something to climb up on 😊. But the short answer to your question is no 💚.
I've found it's not necessary to be completely dry between waterings. My moisture meter has 3 sections, Dry-Moist-Wet. If it's anywhere in the "dry" I water. However lately I've just been watering without checking because I'm trying to kill off some spidermites using water with insecticide in it. Again, they don't seem to need to dry out between waterings, AS LONG as you have well-draining soil. I use a very chunky mix/aroid mix. This is what has been working for me :). Thanks for your questions!
It’s been awhile since I’ve watched this video, but it is my understanding that there are two types of pink splash. I think the first one is probably the pink splash allusion. That’s what someone told me and when I researched it that made sense.

You can try glazing the terra cotta. Check out ways to clean the t-pot back to new and then glaze. Hope this helps.
