The sheer fact that the improved chest(s) look so much better and fix the Granny Shelf the official has means the KO wins IMO.
And yet so many TT hailers still refuse to admit TT did a dumb-dumb, same as they refuse to admit adding voice pack is a horrible idea.

She's also cheaper so that's a win as well. I only have two KO toys, Prowl and Smokescreen, and both are very good. I also have the original Prowl so I can keep one in robot mode while the other is in alt mode. Smokescreen I just didn't want to spend the money as I've already got Prowl and two different versions of Bluestreak, one in his regular color and the other in the blue Diaclone? color. I've been wanting Arcee and almost bought her twice but now, if I do buy her, it'll be the KO version as that chest piece alone is a huge improvement, the other, is just extra. Hopefully, if I do get her, the extra faces won't be messed up. I did end up buying the Rose Toy but, she doesn't transform properly with the alternate chest piece so it has to come out. Overall a very good toy and one that's almost fully painted as I think the only thing not painted are her hands.

I still don’t get how Takara thought the original chest piece was ok
Takara makes some baffling decisions in terms of what kind of aesthetic compromises they'll allow. Ironhide's hip flaps, Magnus's butt flap, Prime's backpack, Arcee's chest, Bumblebee's snowshoes...and all of those except Bumblebee were easily fixed with minor 3rd party modifications. Why couldn't Takara just go the extra inch and do it right in the first place?

Firebird still has the best chestpiece, but at the same point I am dying from cringe from knowing this fact ...
I do get annoyed with knockoffs, but at the same point, when they do things better than a fully-funded, triple A studio, its proof that high-end adult collector/toys can only benefit from competition.
I wish they had an option for a chest with the smoothness of the, ahem, busty option but without the bustiness. The sharp angle of the regular chests just seems off.

The 86 version should take some transformations bits from this mp, made the thighs fuller but keep the thighs close together, slightly longer legs, and make it voyager quality with classic height..

I’ve never had an issue with her original chest.
Glad i didnt bite the Fanstoys version coz its been on discount for months. This one improved a lot. And i like the proportions better.
Btw theres no arm gaps on my copy. Its non existent. I got a very good production release.
Me, personally, I might still get the FT Rouge, even tho I just got this ko. The transformation looks more fun to me. Then again, who knows, maybe FT will come out with a v2 with some upgrades and improvements.
Got mine today didn't realise my zeta toys version was so much bigger than this. But it looks awesome on my shelf with my other ko MPs.

I just need to stop watching other reviewers. The other ones I've watched kept saying that you need to swap the chest for transformation. They didn't even try to transform it with the new chest on.
Now I'm going to pick this up at some point.

Oh now I see what's off with the official's chest? I'm supposed to see the butterfly joints as part of it. I'm sure they could've found a way to have the shoulders extend out like on Prime? But really, who's going to use those butterfly joints anyway?
With the price of real MPs , looks great . I’d just worry about getting a good copy , Booby options , options are always 👍🏼, Looks like Springer and HotRod going to BLOOSH!!

I got the THF Soundwave, IT Megatron, the ko of Thomas/Astrotrain (I think the original brand is FansToys), no-brand ko of MP-44 sans trailer, the LTS-03 MPM-3 Bumblebee, the Eagle 01 Starscream, and about 8 other straight up KOs with near-identical boxes as the official ones. The ko Ratchet had a misplaced part, and I got a refund, the Eagle Starscream missed the paint application on one side of the missiles beneath the pectoral flap, but I didn't feel like it mattered enough to me to even mention it (I'm sure I'd have gotten a refund if I tried, tho), and every other toy is in fine working order. I also got a 50cm or so Devastator combiner set, and there was a missing panel on the bottom of Scrapper's foot. It's not the biggest deal, but I know it's there, and I'm hoping they'll send a replacement part. I also got a 3 seeker set of mini TFs and a mini Soundwave, they all work fine. Overall, I've saved quite a lot of money from not buying official sets, even if all the not-100% perfect toys were bought again with zero refunds, easily saved at least double from what I'd have spent on officials.
I hope my experiences with KOs help you make an informed decision.

If I had to choose between the official MP Arcee or the KO Robot Rose hands down I would choose Robot Rose as it really improves on the chest designs.And to give her a more human style attributes gets bonus points.Plus with the Official one being so much more expensive Robot Rose is the clear winner in this category.Emgo sure gets comps for reviewing this from me so thanks emgo for your review,I may see if I can find this at a reasonable price somewhere.Later all.
