Twenty seconds in and the guy clamps THE FRAME. At least wrap a clean shop cloth around it. Holy moly. The best way is by the seatpost of course...

If the clamp is scrupulously clean and the frame doesn't shift in its jaws, no issue. But those are big IFs.
