Just been seeing homeless videos and sad animal rescues on youtube lately, they got me wanting to be mother Theresa with the rest of my life... Too much suffering out there.

Me too, to know that there are still animals in labs tested on products for our skin beauty/ cosmetics ect 👐. This is so bittersweet, and it also brougt a smile on my face when they explored their space outdoors in the sun🤗

Heating and cooling them? Punishing them? Loud Sounds? Starving them? There's many more things that could've happened to these poor animals, I'm just happy their in a good place now.

Chimps are the most violent animals on earth aside from humans. They are the only animal to celebrate murder in the name of war. I would say slugs have the most precious souls on earth not chimps lol.
I wish humans would stop treating animals as things and let them live a free, safe life. You can see in their eyes how they have been through so much. It is heartbreaking. I am glad they get to experience freedom and happiness.
Free is possible. Safe is not. Unless we cage them all. Which, of course, is not only unrealistic and impossible, but also unjust. I have ducks and their life expectancy is 4x as long in captivity as compared to when they live in the wild. I try give them a lot of space, a desirable environment, and indoor protection at night, when they are by far the most vulnerable. Are they happier living with me for 8-12 years as opposed to 2-3 in the wild? I cannot say. The question of balancing freedom vs safety. It's a big question in our human world right now. Do we hide away for a year or two, or who knows how long, on the small chance that we or someone we know dies from a disease, giving up significant moments in our precious, realistically short lives? Is it worth the trade off? I can answer that for myself, partly because I did the math and found that life expectancy for humans has only been altered by mere days, so I'd gladly give up a few months of life, let alone a few days, to have this year back. But is that the same for a ducks whose life could be many times as long? I don't know. I try my best to help give them a good life and we carry on a symbiotic relationship. Some creatures perform better in captivity than the wild, and others don't. I'm sure, even within many species, there are case by case scenarios, since they have individuality, as well.

It's refusal to participate in the parts of the system that are unsavory, to say the least. They don't know how to forage or hunt, and chimpanzee tribes don't take kindly to other chimpanzee groups entering their territory, more likely to beat them up or kill them than take them in.

Many of them didn't even know what sunlight and grass were before, they just sat in tiny metal cages all day long being tested on, probably in pain. Now they're eating fresh fruit under the sun, sitting in a group in the grass, playing all day long. They don't see it as a bigger cage. They probably see it as paradise, something they couldn't even imagine existed before.
Everyone whines and cries over the poor animals. But those same whiners also happily accept the benefits that come from animal testing in medicine. The hypocrisy is strong.

Imagine the feeling of climbing a tree after all that time, I'm sure they feel it in their soul, like "yes this is where I'm supposed to be". The smell of grass, the texture of the trees, the open sky, suddenly it comes altogether. The cage is unnatural but they knew nothing else, only the actual experience of the outdoors makes them realize the miserable reality of the cage, but them being still animals they don't reflect much on it they just enjoy and embrace what they have now.
Beyond beautiful when they hug each other. These beautiful primates deserve their freedom & to live their lives safe from the pain & horror of vivisection. So utterly wonderful. Xxx😘🐵🐒🦍🦧♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Save that people who do survive this kind of thing don’t tend to respond as fast to new found “freedom” as the monkeys in the video here did.. In fact they were better looked after than they would have been in the wild - just isolated from the outside world and in some necessary cases, from other groups of the same species though I don't think they were in any way kept in individual isolation. They are all phenomenally fit.

I became a vegetarian 6-7 months ago. The change camed because i couldnt embrace the ideea of eating someone who can be a good friend, anymore... I JUST DID IT and its not bad at all and i fell better!

Do we hide away for a year or two, or who knows how long, on the small chance that we or someone we know dies from a disease, giving up significant moments in our precious, realistically short lives? Is it worth the trade off? I can answer that for myself, partly because I did the math and found that life expectancy for humans has only been altered by mere days, so I'd gladly give up a few months of life, let alone a few days, to have this year back. But is that the same for a ducks whose life could be many times as long? I don't know. I try my best to help give them a good life and we carry on a symbiotic relationship. Some creatures perform better in captivity than the wild, and others don't. I'm sure, even within many species, there are case by case scenarios, since they have individuality, as well.

It's refusal to participate in the parts of the system that are unsavory, to say the least. We must do more than to wait around for the system to change, we must remove ourselves as helpful consumerist participants that cause the machine to run smoothly.
Imagine how many innocent animals like them, including dogs, are being tested in on a daily basis 😔 - never free, never a kindness. Especially now.

They don't know how to forage or hunt, and chimpanzee tribes don't take kindly to other chimpanzee groups entering their territory, more likely to beat them up or kill them than take them in.
@@NEOgeek402 Yep, that's the way we see it. But it's a whole new world for those chimps. Many of them didn't even know what sunlight and grass were before, they just sat in tiny metal cages all day long being tested on, probably in pain. Now they're eating fresh fruit under the sun, sitting in a group in the grass, playing all day long. They don't see it as a bigger cage. They probably see it as paradise, something they couldn't even imagine existed before.

Imagine the feeling of climbing a tree after all that time, I'm sure they feel it in their soul, like "yes this is where I'm supposed to be". The smell of grass, the texture of the trees, the open sky, suddenly it comes altogether. The cage is unnatural but they knew nothing else, only the actual experience of the outdoors makes them realize the miserable reality of the cage, but them being still animals they don't reflect much on it they just enjoy and embrace what they have now.

In fact they were better looked after than they would have been in the wild - just isolated from the outside world and in some necessary cases, from other groups of the same species though I don't think they were in any way kept in individual isolation. They are all phenomenally fit.
