Our DNA aligns with 99% of a chimpanzee. It's fascinating to know we're all in the primate species and sometimes it certainly shows lol the ritualism and aggression. The unintelligence at times haha

I saw a video where like a troop of 30 chimps left their camp to attack a neighbouring chimp camp that was close to their territory. It was crazy to see because they moved so coordinated and tactical. Once they were close they all sat with death silence while waiting for their troupe leader to give a signal (it was prolly the alpha but idk). Once the troupe leader gave a signal they all ran into the camp screaming and jumping, some had sticks and some had stones and they made their rivals run away. At the end they killed a couple members and increased their own territory.
It was the most fascinating thing I've ever seen. It was like seeing a navy seal operation but with animals

Holy shit. Man, there’s a place in Africa - I think it might be the Congo, that a militia tried to teach chimps how to use Machetes, it started to back fire so they gave up.
They could NOT get all the machetes back.
As the chimps returned to the wild they taught other chimps, and in fact you can still find videos of chimps with those machetes, using them.
Apparently they still continue to attack / kill people.

Jeezlebob, pull up that one hologram of the human using this little stick thingy to kill another one of them, yeah that one. Look at that, so this one human crossed into this humans territory, and these are extremely territorial creatures, and so BOOM! just like that hahahaha, see how that one just keels over, now the one that shot him runs away, brutal dude. Who would you think would win between a human and a glorbbleshorful? What! Noooooo, no way a glorbbleshorful wins against one of those, did you just see that video? I mean sure, glorbbleshorfuls are pretty big, but they don’t shoot fire and hot metal out of their hands!”

I've been watching them for years, and I've seen that they always split into 2 factions that despise each other. Each faction has traditional territories that the others try to enter and raid, attempting to muster support for their side. Whenever a potential leader encounters opposition, he'll visciously cripple his opponents, screaming insults and accusations at the challengers.
When their politics gets near the point of barbarism, they will often put their differences aside and attack a different group of chimpanzees altogether, promoting a "common enemy" theory to the membership. Both sides send warriors and entirely focus on the new war. No more red or blue states, they all remain American

Even in life you need change every 5-6 years to avoid being stagnant. My whole life I've never worked at a company more than 6 years. I've seen guys stuck at the same desk for 10+ years and they never seem happy. It's like they are stuck in a comfortable life and either don't know how to crawl out of that rut or are too scared to try a new environment. It's bad for personal growth. To all you young guys who are starting your careers, keep this in mind. Heading towards the unknown is always a good thing.

They rarely kill bad leaders, they usually just beat 'em and strip them of power. In general chimpanzees rarely kill members of their own group, most killings occur between groups. Within the same group most fights are milder.

@@Grimz185 not trying to be condescending but it’s literally the first question he asks in the podcast. Essentially, you wouldn’t be able to do that with any group of chimps. This group of chimps had been found by scientists a couple of years ago and had already gone through a process of “habitualization” to humans. Essentially the scientists followed them around and got them used to humans observing them. There’s probably a process of leaving human scented things around or a gradual process of being 1 mile away then half a mile and so on. Regardless, they didn’t just find a random group of chimps to film.

True. Its a false peace because abnormal energies then start to propogate. A true alpha has to emerge but it has to be in a natural system and not fabricated. The alphas that died, died because of fabricated influence.

There's also this thing where chimps groom each other in order to develop bonds and alliances so they have each other's backs. It's important if you want to become the leader of the group in the future. It's fascinating and scary because even before our ancestors started to walk on two legs and grow less hair politics was a thing. I might be thinking too much but I think that if we want a better future for ourselves with little to no conflict and tyranny then we should study chimps.
