Drumdums RIP that’s funny that you forgot about Flatliners, that movie really sucked. On another topic I watched the Killing of a Sacred Deer and really enjoyed it, was interested after seeing your review and it was great.
Although I have not seen it, I am making a point to avoid I Spit on Your Grave 2, which was less a sequel and more a remake to the ISOYG remake. Odd that the third in that cycle is a true sequel to the first remake and supposedly good, for that kind of film.
I actually really like the f13 remake, the characters were bad but overall I love the new take on a Rambo Jason, it’s a good movie it doesn’t deserve the hate!
joe lisiecki It doesn't deserve great praise either. It's an okay remake. Not bad, but also not amazing. I'd say it's neither better, nor worse than the original and some of the sequels.
To be fair, most characters in F13 movies beyond the final girls are typically terrible cookie cutter stereotypes of jock, joker, slutty cheerleader, etc. It's one reason why Cabin in the Woods made them a trope to play off of in their movie.
1. Nightmare on Elm Street Remake 2. Psycho Remake 3. Poltergeist Remake 4. April Fool’s Day Remake 5. Jacob’s Ladder Remake 6. RZ Halloween 7. RZ Halloween 2 8. FlatLiners Remake 9. The Wicker Man Remake 10. Prom Night Remake

It says a lot when I really really hate found footage movies and As Above So Below actually turned out to be pretty decent. That and REC are two of the few found footage movies I can stand. I do not like this genre. Not because of shaky cam motion sickness but a weak genre in general. None of them are really all that good or interest me. I did see Found Flix's video on Grave Encounters, but it doesn't motivate me to see it. I saw the first Paranormal Activity in my horror movie phase, and it was alright. Not my favorite, but enough. I also saw Blair Witch and again, it was alright. Nothing special. REC though was just amazing in general. I have 2 in my collection for some reason. As Above So Below has been out for a while now, and if noticed over the last week or 2 more and more people keep name dropping it. It's a cool movie.....just wonder why folk are talking about it now...
I saw the Prom Night remake in the bargain theater we used to have and at around 40mins into the movie, the film ate up and did that hilarious "BRRRRRIIIPPPPP" melting thing you see when a movie gets destroyed in a theater and yet, like complete tools, we sat there because the usher said "Hang on guys! It'll be a few minutes and we'll restart the film!" It ended up being about 20mins and all I can look back and think was " why didn't you get your stupid ass out if that seat and as far away from the theater as you could possibly get?!" It was almost as if the movie was trying to commit suicide and save us from watching it and we didn't listen hahaha
The "Psycho" remake is totally pointless. Gus Van Sant wanted to make some sort of experiment to see what reactions would produce the new-old movie to the audience. If you make a remake, you need to make something different and creative from the original movie. Btw, I like your channel. You have nice reviews and because of your channel I watched few great movies ("Zodiac", "The Crow", the original "Hitcher" movie with the late Rutger Hauer). Keep it up!

Prom Night, A Nightmare on Elm St really pissed me off. I did love Night of the Demons and Carrie with Chloe Grace although she was too hot to be an outcast. I want Black Christmas to just stop
I love the first 3/4 minutes when you take us behind the scenes a bit. The top ten chase scenes is a great idea - never even thought of it nor would I know where to begin! Great video as usual, Lee. 😎👍🏼

I love that Olivia Newton-John picture you have on the wall there. I've got that same picture on her Greatest Hits Vol. 3 album cover. I love Olivia Neutron-Bomb!
I agree about Black Christmas. Agenda aside though the ending was just way too out there and like you said I missed Billy. He’s vital to the franchise.
I couldn't stand Black Christmas. If the wolfman was on the list I be sad but not pissed Black Christmas hurts. The list seem to miss house of wax and the Omen
Hey Lee, I agree with u on The Mummy, they should of just done it as Horror. their whole Dark Universe would be great as Horror or the same tone like The Invisible Man. The only movie on this list I Have seen the original of is Halloween and I do love the 2007 remake :) I do like The Hitcher. My top 4 WORST remakes are.. 4. The Grudge (Borrrring) 3. Black Christmas 2019 (tho tbh, It's not one of my worst horror movies of 2019, I thought it was ok) 2. Black Christmas 2006 (It was so bad, I forgot I saw it and saw it again I did lol) 1. The 4th Black Christmas movie they make lol
1999 Mummy will always be one of the best remakes out there. the 2017 film was basically copycatting the 1999 one. P.S. I hope you review The Mummy (1999).
Cool vid! What about films that SHOULD be remade? I usually cringe when I hear about upcoming remakes, but some films had great concepts but are dated or were low quality. I'd vote for Blood Beach and Visiting Hours.
I'd like to suggest a list video for you: top 10 horror films that deserve a second chance. Hear me out. When I was younger, I was one of those people that absolutely loathed Halloween 3 Season of the Witch. I basically fell into the same category of individuals who disliked the film because it was Halloween without Michael Myers. As I got older, I realized that as a standalone film, it was actually pretty damn good. So, I figured maybe making a video about films that affected you the same way would definitely be entertaining. Be safe out there my friend!
I'm pretty sure I have said this already, but Rob Zombie is really good at one thing "hick" horror movies, it didn't make sense for Zombie to try to remake Halloween, especially when he had another classic he probably could have down justice to Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Great list as usual. I knew Black Christmas would be #1 before I watched the video...lol. Thankfully I have avoided all of these except for the Psycho remake. The masturbation scene and Anne Heche's butt were the best part of the movie!
My top ten I would have to say is 10 night of the demons 2009 09 April fools day 2011 08 poltergeist 2014 07 wicker man 06 one missed call 05 house of wax 04 prom night 03 the fog 02 sorority row 01black Christmas 2019
Imho I really hope they don't remake Event Horizon. It's one of the best and most underrated sci-fi movies ever made. There is a tv show on Netflix called Nightflyers which seems to be a similar premise if anyone fancies that 🙂
cky2kdunn Like Chris Birks said, I hope they don't remake it. It's one of the best and most underrated sci-fi horror movies. I'd rather have a director's cut with all the footage they cut out restored. I know that's impossible, since much of it longer exists. But that would be infinitely better than remaking it. I don't think you can redo that movie have it make the same impact the original did.
Is that an original a nightmare on elm street 2010 poster or is it a reproduction poster? I have one but unfortunately it is a copy so quality not good.
Oh, also... my Top 10 Worst Remakes (I thought for sure these would all be Zero out of 10 movies but... they're not): 10. _Sorority Row_ 9. _Friday the 13th_ 8. _Let Me In_ 7. _The Wicker Man_ 6. _Piranha_ (I feel I was a bit hard on this so maybe I'll rewatch one day) (I just think the original is so / very underrated) 5. _The Haunting_ 4. _Carrie_ (2013) 3. _The Fog_ 2. _The Evil Dead_ 1. _The Texas Chainsaw Massacre_
Lee, I was rewatching the video of you ranking the Halloween franchise including Halloween 2018 and u said "Jamie and Rachel are like one of the best onscreen duos in slasher history" and i agree. In my opinion... Rachel and Jamie are definitly one of the best onscreen duos in slasher history.... So i was wondering... Lee, Can you do a.. - top 10 best onscreen duos in slasher history?
When you said real stinkers, I legit laughed. I love your videos man awesome stuff. I do have a question have you ever through about doing a review based on a serial killer and compare it to facts.
Good list! I was a PA on Night of the Demons remake here in New Orleans. I was the PA in charge of getting the actors to set. I got to talk extensively to Furlong and also Monica Keenan. Twas pretty cool experience My feeling on the final product are quite similar to yours. It was strange watching the director work, while knowing that this film would be cool and yet severely under par. I realized the HARD way to keep my opinions to myself on set. Anyway thanx again for such great reviews. Also...perfect explanation on The Fog.
David Burl So bad ass David. Thank you for sharing your story. I actually met Furlong at spooky Empire last year. It wasn’t the best experience. Very awkward. But I don’t hold it against the guy.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Ahaaa...yes Furlong has a VERY odd yet intriguing sense of humor. I wish he wasn't SO hard on himself. I think he holds A LOT of regret on his shoulders. Ultimately a cool cat tho.

Just grabbed some new reading material and of the 3 books R.S.S. is one of them, I like to read while I work on my own books. Reading others work helps me to focus on what I'm writing, if that makes any sense. Any who can't wait to read it I see it's been getting nothing but rave reviews you must be very proud of your wife.
Hey what's up LEE..can u make a Ranking Loomis performances from all the Halloween's including the Rob Zombie remakes I think that would be awesome..,1,2,4,5 are my favorite for sure⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love rob zombies Halloween’s they’re some of my favorites to me it’s like the f13 remake, a really cool new take on the killer and the killer is more violent and scarier, the rob zombie dialogue is awful but I don’t think that makes this movie bad
Lee I heart you but Fright Night 2011 was a classic much like the 85 OG The remake expanded on "Mr.Dandridge" A more Charismatic yet calculated sociopath. Also Anton Yelchin (R.I.P) Charlie "Charley" Brewster's had a lot of swagger even when he was unsure he still had a lot of confidence. I do see your argument for David Tennant's portrayal of Peter Vincent like the Chris Angel of vampire hunters That being said Much like the great Roddy McDowell (R.I.P.) his character had a flaw as far as being a "hack". It's his redemption as to ride with Charley thru it all to thwart Jerry and save his town from this bloodsucker.
Totally off subject, but I'm trying to see if you ever reviewed the slasher anthology on Netflix. I've looked and couldn't find it anywhere. If you haven't, I'd love to see you do that. I thought season one was phenomenal. Thanks!

“Psycho” ‘98 is such a slap in the face to the best slasher ever made. Thank a God the Razzies bestowed awards to its heinous existence. Should’ve also had the Jan de Bont “Haunting” remake
Your so right drum, but I actually like fright night and night of the demons myself, now the mummy was horrible, and Halloween 2007 was okay, I remember I went to see it in theaters, can you do B Horror top 10 list please, especially from the 90s and 80s.
I haven't seen this ranking before, but rank your favorite horror series/trilogies amongst each other (I.e. scream, wrong turn, Halloween, child's play, etc)
Thanks God, I have not seen most of these! Thank you Lee for the warning list - now I know what NOT to watch! I have seen only Psycho remake (very weak copy) & Zombie’s Halloween (hate it) out of these. I thought you would mention Wicker Man remake (because of the T-shirt), and I was already ready to defend it and say that I am actually one of those few who kinda like it, but it didn’t make your list :) The original Wicker Man is one of my all time favorite movies, but remake is also quite good imho
My list includes 1. Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3. Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 4. Prom Night 5 Dawn Of The Dead Could u do a list of your favorite horror/movie sequels would be good

On topic of chase scenes, the original night of the demons should make the list along with the rob zombie First Halloween. I kept getting all the blonde girls characters mixed up with each other in the night of the demons Remake!
Got some ideas for top 10s.. best/worst final girls, best/worst anthologies, best/worst horror endings. Best/worst cameos in horror movies, best John carpenter films (we all know best is the thing), best/worst universal horror remakes

When it was announced on Twitter I called Black Christmas 😂 Just bad
Hey Lee, I agree with u on The Mummy, they should of just done it as Horror. their whole Dark Universe would be great as Horror or the same tone like The Invisible Man.
The only movie on this list I Have seen the original of is Halloween and I do love the 2007 remake :)
I do like The Hitcher. My top 4 WORST remakes are..
4. The Grudge (Borrrring)
3. Black Christmas 2019 (tho tbh, It's not one of my worst horror movies of 2019, I thought it was ok)
2. Black Christmas 2006 (It was so bad, I forgot I saw it and saw it again I did lol)
1. The 4th Black Christmas movie they make lol
1999 Mummy will always be one of the best remakes out there. the 2017 film was basically copycatting the 1999 one.
P.S. I hope you review The Mummy (1999).
Daniel Chavez copycatting? Dang...I didn’t see ANY similarities between the two!!! Hahaa
@@JDobbsy79 I think what he meant was that how both the 2017 and 1999 films were Action Adventure.
Cool vid! What about films that SHOULD be remade? I usually cringe when I hear about upcoming remakes, but some films had great concepts but are dated or were low quality. I'd vote for Blood Beach and Visiting Hours.
Martin Renner Great idea Martin! ❤️
A Lo-Fi Kind of Life Actually, that is a great idea!
Yup, Black Christmas 2019 stunk.
I'm pretty sure I have said this already, but Rob Zombie is really good at one thing "hick" horror movies, it didn't make sense for Zombie to try to remake Halloween, especially when he had another classic he probably could have down justice to Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Could you rank the horror icons in movies? Cody did them and I enjoyed them a lot so it would make my day if you made them.
Great list as usual. I knew Black Christmas would be #1 before I watched the video...lol. Thankfully I have avoided all of these except for the Psycho remake. The masturbation scene and Anne Heche's butt were the best part of the movie!
I have to agree, they didn't utilize the Peter Vincent character to his full potential in the Fright Night remake. Awesome video! Loved your choices.
I’d be interested in a top 10 horror movie scores. Or a top 10 horror movie directors.
My top ten I would have to say is
10 night of the demons 2009
09 April fools day 2011
08 poltergeist 2014
07 wicker man
06 one missed call
05 house of wax
04 prom night
03 the fog
02 sorority row
01black Christmas 2019
DEFINITELY "April Fool's Day" 2011. Just...so much wrong...
Ew Black Christmas...
nolanc94 no lol this is my top ten worst Horror remakes 😂
Devin Epps I know but just mentioning the name makes me cringe is what I meant
One movie i wish they would remake is Event Horizon.. and actually try and get the same director
they are doing a tv show ironically allegedly starring the movie directors wife Milla Jovavich.
I called the black christmas 2019 remake being number 1
Yeah ofc it’s a bag of crap
Oh, also... my Top 10 Worst Remakes (I thought for sure these would all be Zero out of 10 movies but... they're not):
10. _Sorority Row_
9. _Friday the 13th_
8. _Let Me In_
7. _The Wicker Man_
6. _Piranha_ (I feel I was a bit hard on this so maybe I'll rewatch one day) (I just think the original is so / very underrated)
5. _The Haunting_
4. _Carrie_ (2013)
3. _The Fog_
2. _The Evil Dead_
Sunshine Hourshow Yeah I love Rachel and Jamie to bits! 👏
@@DrumdumsOfficial can you make a top 10 best onscreen duos in slasher history?
You should do a top ten plot twists in horror :)
When you said real stinkers, I legit laughed. I love your videos man awesome stuff. I do have a question have you ever through about doing a review based on a serial killer and compare it to facts.
Richard Jones No but that’s a cool idea. 🤟
Kind of staying on theme here, what about “Top Movies That Could Use a Remake” and discuss some flicks that might benefit from a new era update!
for me it was cabin fever remake, it was so pointless, shot-for-shot but more boring! and the original wasn't good to start with!!
Good list!
I was a PA on Night of the Demons remake here in New Orleans. I was the PA in charge of getting the actors to set. I got to talk extensively to Furlong and also Monica Keenan. Twas pretty cool experience
My feeling on the final product are quite similar to yours.
@@DrumdumsOfficial
Ahaaa...yes Furlong has a VERY odd yet intriguing sense of humor. I wish he wasn't SO hard on himself. I think he holds A LOT of regret on his shoulders. Ultimately a cool cat tho.
Awesome video and list! I think a great list would be either top 10 or top 20 horror killer masks👍😀
Top 10 Worst Horror Movie Remakes:
10: Carrie
9: Haunting
8: Pet sematary
7: Prom Night
6: Wicker Man
5: House of Wax
4: Fog

@tyrone kinard Unlike most people, I liked the remake.
Can't stand Pet Sematary remake too 🤮
@@jeremyvarin3637 A Stephen king remake that could be good is Silver Bullet, if it happens
My top 5 least favorite horror movie remakes
1. Carrie 2013
2. Black Christmas 2019
3. The wicker man 2006
4. Psycho 1998
5. The mummy 2017
I like the guys chase scenes idea:)
Lee is ON POINT with this list! 🤘🤘
I love rob zombies Halloween’s they’re some of my favorites to me it’s like the f13 remake, a really cool new take on the killer and the killer is more violent and scarier, the rob zombie dialogue is awful but I don’t think that makes this movie bad
Upon first watch, I really liked it. On my second watch, I didn’t like that much.
I so agree on Halloween and The Mummy! I think they should have never tried to remake The Fog!
You should do a top 10 show downs in horror films and also another great videos as well. I couldn't agree more with most of these.
Thanks!
markus mccollum Is that the TV show? No I have not reviewed it yet.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Yes, the TV show. There are three seasons. Each has a different storyline
The Friday the 13th remake is among my favorite in the entire series. My least favorite remake is probably NoES or Psycho.
4:06 #10: Night Of The Demons
4:53 #9: Fright Night
5:45 #8: The Invasion
6:27 #Forgotten Trash: The Mummy
7:14 #7: Halloween
8:17 #6: The Hitcher
9:09 #5: The Grudge
9:58 #4: The Fog
11:20 #3: Psycho
12:17 #2: Prom Night
13:30 #1: Black Feministas
Maybe you could do a top ten zombies of all time list???
Oh god 15 seconds in and you mention the Poltergeist remake... I was almost able to forget that it existed.
Great list! Never seen the newest Mummy.. now i definitely won't! Lol.
Stephanie G It’s horrible Steph! 🤢
Sophia Bush in the hitcher remake is smoking hot though.
Doesn't help the movie at all though LOL
Brandon Ryder Mmmmm hmm.
You should try 'Stand Alone Slasher Films List' (no remakes or franchises). Hard as hell to come up with!
Great list...totally agree with it!!!👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
That Olivia Newton-John album in the intro to the intro, though.
Marky K Right?!! 🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely we need a Horror version of The Mummy! Have you done a Top 10 Monster Movie List? (like Dracula, Warewolf, Frankenstein, etc movies)
Brett Stuart No not yet. I’ve done Creature Features.
@@DrumdumsOfficial yeah I remember that one, that was a great list!
“Psycho” ‘98 is such a slap in the face to the best slasher ever made. Thank a God the Razzies bestowed awards to its heinous existence. Should’ve also had the Jan de Bont “Haunting” remake
Alyssa Black I don’t remember The Haunting at all. I guess that’s a good thing! 😂
Your so right drum, but I actually like fright night and night of the demons myself, now the mummy was horrible, and Halloween 2007 was okay, I remember I went to see it in theaters, can you do B Horror top 10 list please, especially from the 90s and 80s.
I used to call Friday the 13th (2009) movie Jason's Weed, because if you messed with his weed you got smoked
I haven't seen this ranking before, but rank your favorite horror series/trilogies amongst each other (I.e. scream, wrong turn, Halloween, child's play, etc)
Lee, what are your thoughts on the Children of the Corn and The Omen remakes?
Thanks God, I have not seen most of these! Thank you Lee for the warning list - now I know what NOT to watch! I have seen only Psycho remake (very weak copy) & Zombie’s Halloween (hate it) out of these. I thought you would mention Wicker Man remake (because of the T-shirt), and I was already ready to defend it and say that I am actually one of those few who kinda like it, but it didn’t make your list :) The original Wicker Man is one of my all time favorite movies, but remake is also quite good imho
My list includes
1. Rob Zombie's Halloween
2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
3. Rob Zombie's Halloween 2
4. Prom Night
5 Dawn Of The Dead
Could u do a list of your favorite horror/movie sequels would be good
Hey drum I pretty much agree with you on this list and appreciate you doing them, have you ever thought about doing a top 10 best scores in a horror movie 🎥 that would be interesting!!🤔
I was a PA on Night of the Demons remake. I agree with what you said about it!
Great list!
My idea of hell....being forced by the devil to watch the latest Black Christmas remake over and over for eternity!
I just watched Black Christmas today it made me rage so much! I can see why so many people hate it!
My top 25 Worst Horror Movie remakes: 25. Flatliners 24. Martyrs 23. Jacobs ladder 22. April fool's day 21. Poltergeist (2015) 20. House of Wax 19. House on haunted 18. Carrie 17. The Grudge (2020) 16. The fog 15. Dracula Untold 14. The Mummy (2017) 13. One Missed Call 12. The Invasion (2007) 11. Prom Night 10. Friday the 13th 9. Night of Demons 8. The Stepfather 7. The hitcher 6. Freight Night 5. Halloween (2007) 4. Nightmare on elm street 3. The omen 2. Black Christmas (2019) 1. Psycho
Great ideas there. I get the final girls request a lot actually.
You should do a what would you do in (insert horror movie) a good example would be what would you do in The Hills Have Eyes in that situation
That could be an interesting idea.
Haven’t watched the video yet but I feel like prom night is gonna be on here.
Yep!
How about top 10 opening title sequences (film title logo with music theme)?
