i think this kit with the right heads would sound awesome....this is a good representation of the drums....but with this thin shell, shell sizes....im thinking a Remo coated ambassador or Remo pinstripe...The Evan UV1 would sound good but cut some top end. Powerstroke 3 on the bass or a trusty aquarian super kick 2
Pearl Session Studio Select drums are good drums , but not with those UT Remo Pinstripes made in China heads ! USA made Remo Emps on tops and Remo clear Ambs on bottom side and you have a great sounding drums ! I think that drums in that price range ( 1200 - 1600 € ) should come with good USA ( Remo , Evans or Aquarian ) heads from the factory !

The Drum Solo was Great as alway's?. But to me i feel?, i see why Baard doesn't do as many Drum Solo's?, like he did when he was of a young age?, his been pushed to hard & sometime that can bring your body?, to a boiling point?. Baard Kolstad is A Fantastic & Iconic Drummer i still have Respect for his Drumming?. It's just time's have changed in the Drumming world & thing's where?, i live open mic is now a dead beat thing. Not sure why but music is the soul & with out Respect & soul for music, it just isn't the same?. Baard is a Legend & he has a Good Heart just wish everybody was like Baard Kolstad from Norway?, still have very much Respect for you Baard Hope thing's get easy?, for you buddy & that you had a Great Christmas?, in your life?, mine has been a hard one, being with out a a older Sister really suck's but keep up the Fantastic playing :-( ?.
Thats was the weirdest drum solo i think i have ever heard. I clicked the link to hear the new session selects drums....there were pockets of a good demo but the over the top solo made it hard to get a good listen...also the sizes were not provided either...im guessing 10x7, 12,8 14x14 and 16x22 kick with 14x6.5 snare....still can't pull the trigger on this drum kit, but i think eventually i will....
This guy is a legend. I absolutely love the attitude during his solos.

The toms come with Remo Pinstripes, just that Pearl puts their logo on them!
I’m conflicted. Is that a 20” kick or a 22”??? I want to purchase the one with a 20” kick but still want the 10lug configuration and not an 8lug one

I have always said that 2 Bass Drums are better than 1 ecspecialy if you play fast 2 Bass Drums are evenly leveled up

James Franklin they should sound better, they use better wood and hardware and cost $500-$1000. More than decade series.
