    Wowzer i remember when i was about 10 years old when they come out. Hard to think of them as wecks now.

    I pulled the motor and trans out of a series 2 that had 50K on it,my mate towed it in after it hit a culvert and rolled at high speed,was not a straight panel on it,even arse end was stoved in,was in the hills where i live in NZL it had 5 gang members in it,they walked away unscathed,they are a strong car !

    Even when new the alloytec was a wreck😅.

    People are so wasteful dumping and burning out cars. Not good for the environment that's for sure. The VE Commodores were great cars especially the V8s.

      I was surprised when I went to NZ and seen more nice old commodores than you see here in Australia.. I guess they treat them better and don't thrash them..

    Interesting that they don't rust. A 10 year old FJ Holden was a rust bucket. VEs don't seem that old really.
