An out-of-the-box “retreat”, an experiential amalgam of spaces materiality and tectonics through a desire line expressed by the client, orchestrated by the architects, builders, and fabricators.
The design focuses on maximizing the spatial quality and exploring a synergy of spaces. A reflection of the times we are in, the idea of an integrated living style rendering the formal as obsolete, the house literally has no” Drawing Room” space.
The structure is challenged with elongated cantilevers “concealed” and “upturned” beams an integrated steel and glass curtain wall that creates a forced perspective, and reflections that accentuate the space through virtual visual expansion.
The “agony and ecstasy “of the design process requires a continuous meticulous discourse between the Master fabricator's laborious drawing sets, client-architect approvals, and collaborations, converging the design at its various stages of structure and material joinery.

Doesnt have a warm welcoming feeling of a home where a person can unwind and relax. Look like it's a green house
They tried to cover that up by adden wooden tones but i think its client's preference so why not. Jacuzzi and pool are also there to relax 😉
@@hhydar883 I think the ones who are disagreeing are the ones who like those chocolate brown golden houses which are 90 percent in dha lahore. And they are designer houses.

WOW .....WHAT ONE WONDER SO LOVELY LIVEABLE AND FULL OF LIFE...LLL SUMPLY FANTASTIC
Well....this is a four bed room house it has one more bed room in the basement ... in response to your feedback on the glass envelope ...the design was conceived keeping sections that connect to the weather as well incourrage low and high pressure zones ...enhancing a fly wheel effect ...so yes heat was not meant to be trapped initially an open courtyard in the atrium was planned which could help the section breath out the lighter hot air and keeping certain windows open would enforce convection currents through the sections of the atrium and stairs .....further the proportion of the courtyard is compact and as you can see at 12:00 a.m the depth of sunlight in the lounge is quite bearable ...yes in the unitial design we were to have some ventilators in rowshandan ...(clearstory )ht zone but ...there was a demand for more transparency ....in order to diffuse the light further screens or louver blinds will be incorporated to shade the area ....there a convection air flow ...forced venture running via the section of the stairs as well ...the cool air in the basement is forced up via stair ....so due to a demand for non boho ...planning dust free living we incorporated the retractable roof ....I hope that helps explain our core concepts while planning ...

This is my daughters first experiment in creative architecture. Integrated and satisfying to the inmates to enjoy and live
The best thing is definitely the use of materials and wooden tones to balance it up with the white paint and add a little warmth to the house. Pool area's placement might not be my favorite. And yes how can we not appreciate the natural light elements added here and there. The lounge furniture and interior designing is fabulous. Very well designed house.

Just wondering about the duplex house connected through bridge, as this house has no guest room so the connected house might be the guest house.
Thanks for enjoying this "urban retreat "...Actually the guest room is in the basement ...there are three rooms stacked with dress baths ....basement / ground/ first ....the fourth room is the master on porch ....

Just a comment- do Pakistanis use western toilet? I am bit surprised. We Muslims, for cleanness purpose avoid doing it. Otherwise, one has to take half body bath. Anyway, beautiful house. Pakistanis have better taste than we Indians have. I have barely seen such a beautiful interiors in houses built by Indian builders. Last but not the least, kitchen is outstandingly commodious and speaks volume about culinary passion of Pakistanis. Well done!
At the end all that mattes is that you want to come to enjoy time in your home, does not matter if that is a small apt or a castle and there are people under that roof that are connected in one way or other ! people here are doing professional commentary which all sounds good but who cares!

Pakistanis obsess over mileage when buying a car but when it comes to house no one thinks how much energy it will consume / cost pr year. Such massive spaces/ windows whose gona cool that place ? Entrance is useless doesnt have a landing area and seems totally disconnected from the main house
