Enjoyed that. Sometimes you need to know what’s the right thing to do and finishing the ride early before dark and being tired is the right decision, you still covered some great miles and a lot of climbing.
Last winter I bike packed 200km over two days in crappy terrain, overweight and out of shape. I hated it and loved it all at the same time. Cant wait to hop on the struggle bus in the UK.
An an ex road racer, where I only cared about road riding, I now like to switch between road and mtb off road. I 10000% agree, off road there is no free speed with the extra resistance! Keep up the good miles!
Not being a cyclist but have followed pro road cycling for 14 years….A question for you: after walking thru the mud, bogs, are your cleats packed, and how are you able to click back on to your pedals ? Wow, lots of one arm out holding your camera, only one on the hoods thru some sketchy terrain. You looked exhausted on the train home 🍀😉👍
How did you find the sandstone way? I live in Northumberland and have always wanted to try it but I'm not the most techy gravel rider in the world. Was any of it sketch or is it ok?
I do what foxy does and buy my cycle bearings from a local bearing supplier. Mine were half the price of cycle shop bearings. Which place did foxy get his from (I'm from north east too)?
Love the new shorter intro. Well done
Riding on wet grass is a nightmare. Good to see foxy the man the myth the legend.

Great to see Foxy back on the channel, that’s also some ride considering you haven’t ridden much lately so well done 👏

Two kinds of people… those that wear white shoes for a muddy ride and those that don’t!
Looks like a hard route, fun though. Great vid, thanks.
Loved the gate that opened itself 😂 Just tried riding in Kentmere on a Trek Domane SLR with 35 tyres decided I needed fatter tyres (38)and flat pedals
BLC, you're the easily the best TH-camr right now, so much goodness and positivity, keep it up!
Thanks 🙏🏽

Foxy was at Frthr East?
Damn it. I guess it was dark when i got there.
Can you get him to go through his set-up for it?
And his Spatz gear?
Yo, yes I’ll ask him.
Well done on your ride. We did 16hr for the full route in a day. Aiming for 12 hours in 2025
That’s incredible. Fair play 👊🏽
Looks a great route!
How is that sram groupset doing on that Trek? Considering some of it myself!
It’s ok. Definitely does the job, although I have a rattle on my shifter
Goals are just the excuse to get out there, time with friends is much better regardless of goals is much better.
Well said

What mud guard is foxy running. I am after something similar?
