When i ran the ESP manager, there was no EFI system partition (that wasn't for my main OS.) If its related, I used the modern Simplixed ISO (which has an install.esd instead of install.wim.)
It's too much messing, like for real, what if I damage something due to frequent disassembling and m2 drive replacement. Plus I haven't got one to replace with
Andrew the Enderman got one for $50, which indeed was a steal. I may conduct the experiment with another one, which belongs to my mother (I managed to run a minimalistic WinPE bases on XP, even though it's built different compared to 7 and above - Vista has its own unique properties - but the USB didn't work. The AHCI driver, which I slipstreamed, worked through. I may try to install XP2ESD there)
So i've been looking for something like this for a very long time. I'm happy to see this exists! I do wanna ask, is it possible to modify modern drivers to make them work on 7? Ive got a 4060 GPU and ive tried looking stuff up on modifying things like this but I dont get any helpful results on if its possible or not.
I have no idea if it supports Windows 7, I just know that my iGPU doesn't. Meanwhile, what did work, was RTX 2060 - the notebook version, but it's quite easy to hack a driver for the desktop version, as they have the same video CPU (or how is it called)
@@SevoosChannel apparently it does have a windows 7 version, I got the driver from the official website, but even that didn't seem to work for some reason, it just flat out says it's not supported, maybe it's the hardware support blocking it or something, and I found a program that bypasses the "unsupported hardware" thing
@@SevoosChannel a intel vmd driver and every time i try to install windows it asks for my storage driver so i download a storage driver and put it on my installation media
Ok, got you. Do you actually try loading that driver during installation, not just copying to the partition on the USB drive? Also, try disabling vmd, it it's possible

do you think a VPN will block anything nefarious when using an outdated OS that has more holes in it than the Swiss cheese? VPN won't change the fact that anything - phone, tv - in your home WiFi could execute malware on your PC by sending packets on the local network...

Here I showed modifying the ESP that linked to my main Win10
Can you try doing something like this but with windows XP? I'm curious of the results
I basically won't be able to run Windows XP on my laptop, unless I replace one of the 2 SSDs with a non-NVMe (but still connected via m2) one
@SevoosChannel hmmm well can you try? I would love to see what would happen

Nope, I don't think so. Windows 10 handles video input/output quite different compared to 7 and 8.x, plus the driver itself is proprietary
nice video I was wondering of any other tool than uefiseven will be released I am maining linux now but this would be nice :)
ain't gonna work on my thinkpad t495s but regardless I CAN RELIVE PEAK WINDOWS
Why isn't it?
It has an iGPU (Radeon Vega Mobile 10) and the CPU is Ryzen 7 PRO 3700u
It doesn't mean it can't run Windows 7
Oh I said it wrong; I mean the graphics won't work, as well as the internet (even tho it's an Intel card)
the GPU driver works on yours, but it doesnt on mine! WTF!

Wufuc is awesome, but that message doesn't block anything. Maybe you downloaded a driver for the desktop version, while you have a laptop too?
Great stuff Mozilla ltsc is good as well as superium w7 extended kernal. Love the video
Is dual booting with Windows 11 doable?
i want to install it but i need a storage driver
What kind of storage driver? And how did you determine that it's missing?

Hey Sevoos. Happy 2025. This is probably the first tutorial for installing Win7 on modern hardware of the year.
Thanks❄️
Well, after all, I felt I should have uploaded after 3 months!
@ You’re welcome. I am glad there are still new Windows 7 tutorials like this in 2025.
@ Also, do you remember me from Reddit? My account got banned.
That's unfortunate •_•
Can't tell by the username
@@SevoosChannel Oh. Indeed. My username was 2plash6 and my profile picture was of the Windows 7 logo.
What about windows vista??
I haven't dug into getting NVMe working yet :D
@ I got nvme working on vista but lack of drivers….
I saved some video to "watch later", but I wouldn't mind you sharing some helpful info 😉
you have too new drivers then
@@w.dgaming1 yeah
Try installing this on eMMc with an unsupported processer
There's no unsupported CPU (if it's x86_64 of course)
In terms of eMMC, I haven't tried it, but it's possible as far as I know
@@SevoosChannel I guess something like Kaby Lake with eMMC

ProtonVPN free servers don't support p2p connections, while I can't recommend anything else... I personally don't have to worry about VPN
