  • 00:00 ● Intro - AutoStore: The Cube Storage Pioneers
AutoStore is the cube storage pioneer reducing storage footprint by 75% when compared to other storage solutions. AutoStore eliminates walkways and shelving and utilizes the highest density ratio cube storage of any goods-to-person system. AutoStore consists of a modular, three-dimensional grid of self-supporting bins that are retrieved by robots and delivered to pick stations. The aluminum cubic grid system can be built around columns or pillars to accommodate user access. The robots travel across the top of the grid, by sophisticated algorithms allowing the robots to work independently or collaboratively, to retrieve bins based on the orders required by pickers. AutoStore delivers ultra-dense scalable storage solutions.

Elon Musk Puts Spotlight on Israeli Robotics Startup - SqUID
Israeli robotics startup BionicHIVE, based out of Sha'ar HaNegev in southern Israel, received its 15 minutes of fame over recent days courtesy of none other than Elon Musk.
A video posted by user @MachinePix on January 12 showed BionicHIVE's SqUID warehouse logistics robot in action, and the impressive video caught the attention of Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX who last week became the richest man on the plant with a worth of $182.9 billion. Musk, who has 42.5 million followers on Twitter, wrote in reply to the SqUID video: "The robot future is coming" and the video has since reached an amazing 1.9 million views.

Feels like a professional movie trailer, very impressed & something that can convince managers to switch to automation

This is beautiful and wonderfully amazing but just to be nit-picky "everything you need to know" is incredibly loose here lol Like I need to know more about these!! Basically just 6 ADs haha

This video is overwhelming ....they are doing too much! Less is more sometimes 😌

Picking that slow they would have to give a reason why they didn’t get their numbers or face being terminated.

I learned absolutely nothing in the first 4:16 so I left. All graphics, music, and animation. No educational or informative content.

I don't understand the usefulness of this video. So many light images and sounds to show nothing concrete

Basically the idea is that instead of giving a human an order who then has to go figure out where the product is in the warehouse and retrieve it, you just put the order in and the robots immediately know where they need to go. It's mainly because places like California have raised the minimum wage so it no longer is profitable to hire blue collar workers so they are now being replaced by robots which are cheaper to maintain and less legal liability in the long run.
