    Looks good, Each person will have a different idea at the end of the day , it needs to suit you. When its done you will work out how you could have done it different. Great video.

    Well done , my advice is to do it your way, when I designed my van I came up with many different designs, nothing is perfect, I wished I had just put in a east ,west large single double bunk, would have given me more room, the second single bed is now just storage, My other advice is keep it simple, so easily fixed. Water pumps tend to leak after a while as I found out, I wished I had fitted it in a container. You doing a good job. Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺

      Cheers mate! 🍻🍻 have a plan in my head and hopefully everything works out. If not it shouldn’t be too hard to fix up and change around as I need it! But I agree to do it my way

    You don't have to weld over the holes when you remove seats for LK. You only need to put the bolts back in with enough of a washer or plate, with sealant to stop water and air movement.

    Grear looking build so far, the satisfaction doing it yourself is the best.
    Just thinking of any heat issues qith the cooker in a box and all the electronic equipment as well.🤔

    • @JS_Adventure
      @JS_Adventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers mate! 🍻 Certainly is! Still looking into the heat issue, the outside of the cooker gets warm but I might look at cutting a couple of holes for some more airflow

    Bunnings does the DYI 2m ribbed Econo charcoal utility carpet - that might work.

    this is good video so far ! u got me checking out water tanks too now lol . look at RFI Antennas for a decent cellular . then use a telstra 4/5gx device with external antenna input . or celfi .

    • @brentmcd12
      @brentmcd12 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      do u think it's a safe idea to have your travel buddy cooker covered in that wood section ? in case of fire coz of heat ?

    • @brentmcd12

      oh wait I see . hrmm interesting access

    • @brentmcd12
      @brentmcd12 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      maybe make a little slide out drawer from behind the cooker so it comes out the passenger door also for easy access ?

    • @JS_Adventure
      @JS_Adventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers mate! 🍻 We’re running a Telstra 4gx device through the aerial but I think the cable/aerial is bad so will be looking at that first as we can’t justify the price of a celfi for now. Might look at some vents for the cooker as it gets warm but still touchable. Will see how it goes

    Great vid mate. Is your cooker on the awning side?

    • @JS_Adventure
      @JS_Adventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers mate! 🍻 Yep! Unfortunately I couldn’t really work out the measurements with the new battery and trying to re use cables or just didn’t work out the passenger side!

    Sorry mate, don’t want to rain on your parade but do yourself a favour and pull that chipboard out, use it as a template and remake it out of plywood
    All your screw fixings over corrugated roads are going to pull out and fall apart
    Spend once cry once, just buy the carpet
    Set up is looking good 👍

      Cheers mate! 🍻 will see how it goes as the wood was all spare, if it lasts until Sorcha gets back I’ll be happy!
