    Really liking all your guide videos. You have a great voice, and cover things in great detail, and I liked that you showed the setting you are currently talking about throughout the video. And I finally understood how traction and stability control are different.
    Your camera setup feels a bit distracting tho, as you awkwardly have your face turned sideways in the entire video, and have the wheel in the frame even though you don't use it in the videos.

      Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! I'll think about cutting the camera from some of my videos, if it doesn't add any value. If anyone else has an opinion on that matter, feel free to share that here.

      Its wrong to use assists cause good racing need little mistakes. Orherwise we would race just on the straight. Every feature that exploited to be quicker and make it more easy to drive IS the wrong kind of help. Where are the Hardcore gamers?

    • @johnbarnesNnaptown
      @johnbarnesNnaptown ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sebastianberger746 gamers turn off the assists because using the assists actually slow you down. Manual is way faster than automatic and TCS and STM slow the car down. Check the rivals leader boards all the top times aren't assisted.

      @@johnbarnesNnaptown and Abs? And aslong it IS more difficult to Drive thats oK. And Stop talking about Leaderboard BS. Its a game. Pace Count Not to much If you can practice it 24/7. I am talking about Long races. And assist should make it more safty and Not faster. So i dont get your Point. And i doubt many people Not using Abs in races. Not many people Out there that can do a decent race without it.

    I am confused with stability control. In GT 7 i was a A+ driver and in ACC I had no problem with car control but in Forza I feel like i need the stability control on sport.
    For some reason the car feels like it has more downforce suddenly (especially Forza GT cars at Eau Rouge in Spa)

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  ปีที่แล้ว

      FM has it's own physics engine, that can sometimes feel a little bit weird if you're coming from other games. Stability Control can help in the beginning, but it will most likely lose you lap time.

    Turn off the brake line, this will be the single biggest thing you can do to get faster. Once you start using it you will be dependent and become target fixated on them! Initially I was slower but eventually was able to knock 1-2 sec/lap off my times with just that single assist adjustment.

      @HDeeRacing  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I could do something like that in the future. Will have to think about how, since every wheel is different.
      What I can say is that it's all about practice. I wouldn't be able to keep up on controller, even though I played with it a lot in FH. But I have no practice on it in FM and would be very bad.

    I use almost everything on sport. Don't really notice a difference between that and off. I played way to much forza 5 with no assists though. I have ABS on as well. I saw someone do a video with ABS on and off, there was no difference in the braking distance.
    I will say that braking correctly with ABS off will teach you how to brake though, I just leave it on due to that first corner multiplayer craziness.
    As far as assists, purists can say it's not realistic, except most of those cars have those assists built in...
    Info from a 4960ish rating and top 100ish rivals driver. I don't really do rivals, but when I do, it's typically to tune a car and I end up in the top 100 or so.

      I'm currently running ABS off, but I've seen that as well, so maybe I'll need to turn it on as well.

  • @Al-ny8dr
    @Al-ny8dr ปีที่แล้ว

    My pet peeve is ABS when playing multiplayer. So many players that aren't intentional rammers inadvertently punt players while trying to outbreak someone not using ABS. I know, because I was guilty of this, and didn't quite understand why I was rear ending so many people. I still occasionally bump people a little, but I don't punt them anymore. There's always so much debate who is at fault for collisions, but often these arguments are pointless. Bumps and bangs are going to happen regardless. The best thing you can do is teach yourself not to rage quit, and just get back on the track. If you are getting angry, it's best to just take a break. My least favorite assist is the driving lines and braking lines. I find them too distracting. They are fine for learning a track with no one else on it, but you may find yourself inadvertently chasing the line in multiplayer when you have another car close to you. In which case, you need to invent your own line in very short notice to avoid a collision. it may not be an ideal line, but forcing yourself to follow the main line will just make things worse. A failed pass or failed defense is still preferable to wrecking. Follow your new line the best you can.

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not rage quitting and just continue on, even if you got rammed, is really good advice. Hard to follow sometimes, but worth it for learning purposes.

    I suggest everyone just disable everything except abs and traction on sport(unless uou drift), because abs and traction is realistic things that used in real racing world, beaides F1 and may be some other speciefic type. In GT for example, no one race with abs/tractoon off. Pilots set it more or less on different tracks and weather conditions.
    Sadly, in FM8 we cant set it 0-12, but sports feels lile 5-6 on conparison with others sims which is ok.
