The one who you mentioned with the nice voice and dancing was Taemin! He’s from one of the older groups- Shinee, and I suggest that you check out some of his solo music, like Want and Move. He has a very unique style that you can’t really find in other idols.
He's so good. They did him dirty with this. So many members have talent and SM completely waisted it.
I think it's because of too much idol SM debut, cause I don't think SM can take care all of them
You should definetly check out Danger, Want and Move from Taemin. I mean all of his stuff are great, but I suggest to start with those. He is quite unique

U really think this man is honest or he Stan ur idol? I read lots of comments that are actually an honestmcommenr or reactor. This man isn't even a musician, a vocal teacher or even film director or music critic. These people all they do is praised the performers, the song, the editor and good quality production. There's even people commenting that says, "I thought BTS are the best in Korea, I didn't know there is another group that is bextmthsn them," lol.

This song doesn’t feel like a hype song until you experience it in concert. Holy shit I’ve never felt more energized than when I was surrounded by tons of people jumping and screaming the lyrics to Jopping, the bass pounding in my ears and SuperM singing and dancing their hearts out

I think the main reason is how SM hype sbout them makes people has high expectation of them. But this is just normal kpop which is a let down. Its nothing wrong with the boys it the hype from SM cause this disappointment.

I'm a multi fan too but i didn't feel the hype at all. They look super cool and the mv is dope as hell....but the song is...ughh....very dissapointing. Maybe itz bcz my expectations were too high....i was not impressed at all. 😭

Taemin best dancer in kpop period
The guy with the gentle voice was Taemin. He's from SHINee, an older kpop group (they have great music). You should definitely check out his solo music! I suggest Move, Flame of Love, & Want.
Tbh, I'm not very happy that SM took all of them from their groups but I'll continue to support them bc I care about the members.

The thing is that we all had huge expectations of both SM and superM especially after watching those high quality trailers.There is no problem with members either.This MV shows how amateur the producer was that couldn't give members what they really deserved but when you look at members you can actually see they are doing well even with a song that we all didn't expect. I really wish they find their own concept soon and don't disappoint us

I honestly feel like these are artists are so much more talented and this wasn’t a song that really showcased how good they are. Feel like the company did this song and album more for getting the Americans attention by having a lot of English etc and making money not about making the music good. I was honestly very disappointed when I listened trough the songs. I liked two from the album but I feel like the other songs are badly produced and the lyrics is not personal or anything. I don’t know if this was self produced but I really don’t think so and I would really wish they used this opportunity of having these talented artists by letting them write good, personal lyrics and make good songs instead of this song that sounds like an empty anthem. If you really want to hear how good they really are you should listen to their own stuff because it’s so much better. I thought this was a good idea at first but now I think they should just stayed in their original groups. Honestly they all make good music but this was disappointing:/

I always give things a chance and since it’s release I’ve listened to it maybe 10 times and I’m still not feeling it. I suppose it’s because I don’t normally like hype songs, or “statement” songs. I know some people are talking about song structures and such but I feel like I’m familiar enough with Kpop that “unusual” or “unexpected” structures or changes don’t actually feel unusual or unexpected to me, so that’s not an issue for me. My favourite line(s) are the pair starting “put your hands in the air - to the left...”, not because of the lyric (because they’re pretty common), but just for the rhythm of the words. I don’t have any problem with the song, it doesn’t do anything for me, I don’t feel anything.

I watched reaction videos to it because I was curious as to whether other people had similar thoughts to me, is that not allowed? I didn’t say anything hateful, I was only sharing my thoughts on what I thought about the song, is that not allowed? I didn’t have any expectations either positive or negative, so really I don’t think I had high expectations for the song. I don’t know anything about music production and never claimed to, all I said was that I didn’t feel anything from it. Yes we have different music tastes, so am I not allowed to talk about it? Did it occur to you that on the flip side, some people might consider people who love it can be seen as “bandwagon lovers”?

The approach they took for this song is just like GOT7's, they didn't conform with korea's music style or it isn't just the same concept/style that we usually hear from kpop groups.
I thought it sounded like a NCT/Stray Kids song with the heavy reliance on electronic rhythm for musical interest rather then melodic (especially the chorus). Could be wrong though. ☺️

Aaron, thank you for your honest reaction...My first impression is that this song doesn't cause any emotions. It feels like there is no connection between the members of the group, as if everyone was singing his own song. A bit disappointed.

It was another somewht good typical song from SM. Since they hyped up this whole thing calling them avengers of kpop and stuff.....i honestly expected alot lot more from them. The mv looks super cool and u can clearly see how much they hv spent on this...but i was totally disappointed.
it's obviously a nct-style's song, a wierdest one, like simon says or cherry bomb, or we go up, but i actually love it. i love wierd songs that most of people doesn't (yes, i am the one who truelly loves zimzalabim by red velvet).

I can understand some people getting confused by this song but everyone who is a fan of SM artists knows that SM always shuns the obvious. Recently a music producer complained on instagram that he is tired of kpop companies looking for him and that kpop is currently very annoying because everyone is releasing similar songs. He also said that companies ask him to make their artists the same kind of music as EXO and he got angry about it and said that it's for this companies to understand once and for all that EXO is just EXO and that no one will be able to do same as EXO. And that's how SM does it, with Exo as in "Tempo" for example that when leaked many hated it, or with Red Velvet that releases totally pointless songs but fans love it. To do the same as always SuperM need not have debuted. I'm very proud of Jopping as well as all the other songs from this album that are amazing too. I'm also happy that Billboard looked at them closely and presented and did the interview during the SuperM premier debut event today.
