Taemin (the first husband i ever had in kpop) debuted in 2008 and is one of the best and most iconic dancers in the industry (don't be biased by your preconceptions) and many idols from both boy and girl groups entered kpop because of him so keep an eye on him!
Let me tell you, once you see Teamin's "Advice" dance practice... damn you'll be both traumatised and speechless, the choreo is just genius. Even after seeing Kai's dance practise to "Mhhh", "Rover", or Ten's "Birthday", or Exo in general, this one dance practice of Taemin's "Advice"... pure genius. Not to mention the song itself is a banger

Kai has more versatility with the various dance styles he can do - ballet, contemporary, hiphop, etc, and he has a lot of power, strength and control. Taemin is more contemporary, fluid and sensual.

It's funny that you call them The Avengers because that's exactly what they are and what they were marketed to be, The Avengers of Kpop. They even signed a deal with Marvel. Taemin is such a good dancer that he's literally called the Michael Jackson of Kpop, and he was one of the youngest to debut during his time in 2nd Gen with Shinee. He just recently came back from the military, so there's a good chance we can see a SuperM comeback in the future. Mark and Taeyong are pretty much the main rappers in NCT 127 and the other sub-units. Mark's rap verse in this song is in my opinion not just one of the best Kpop raps in history, but one of the best just rap verses period.
Taemin is a legend! He debuted at the age of 14 in 2008 with SHINee, 2014 as a solo artist, and 2019 with SuperM. He is one of the best kpop dancers, if not the best. When you wacth Taemin dance you will recognize him immediately because his dance style is that unique that you don't need to see his face to know that he is THE ACE LEE TAEMIN. And his voice is very, very unique too, as you can see cause you immediately recognized him from that. The incredible artist he is has inspired many idols, we can say that he is the role model of half the industry.
He just came back from the military and SHINee is planning to hace a come back on june 26th., I think it's a good moment to check them out and Taemin solos too ✨.

The funny thing is, Super M got a lot of good dancers. You already know Kai, always slaying as usual but I'm glad you also noticed Taemin and Ten. I don't think Super M will showcase their full potential since they are coordinating with each other than trying to outshine each other but if you ever checked their other stuff, you will see how amazing they are.

Don't forget that Taemin is ALSO the main dancer of SHINee. Yes, he is the best of the best, and I get what you mean by the industry's main dancer, but Taemin would be the first to tell you that he wouldn't be anything if it wasn't for SHINee shaping who he is today.
And Lucas is a good dancer, but he is nowhere near a main dancer by anyone's definition. He was primarily chosen for SuperM because of his visuals, charism and overall popularity. Which is why whenever anyone asked him what his position in the group was, he would say "main visual." LOL

I absolutely love the way Taemin dances. He has his own unique style that is impossible to take your eyes off. I'm an ARMY, and I don't usually take much interest in the personal lives of other artists, except for their music, but Taemin has become my idol, and his songs are truly incredible. And SuperM is an amazing group, all the guys are super talented.

SuperM is such a good group since it’s an experimental group. Even though Taemin is the “senior” of the group they all agreed that Baekhyun would be the leader. He’s the oldest member in the group but also he has the perfect personality to bring the members together. We don’t really have a fandom name yet, we did joke once that we were called Sperms because once Kai misspelled their group name on a sticky note😂 check out their song “Bad Manners” the dance practice will kill your like it did me when I saw it live in Dallas😭😭😭 ps they are all good dancers (Baek once said he was dying in practice because their dances were so tiresome😂)

As you know, Baekhyun, who is one of the best vocalist in the industry, and *Kai, who is one of the top 2 dancers in the industry, are from EXO; *Taemin is the other top dancer, with one of the most well respected solo careers, and he is a member of the legendary group SHINee; Taeyong is the leader of NCT, and he is known for his dancing and rapping, and Mark is the main rapper and dancer from NCT-U/NCT-127; Ten is the main dancer and lead vocalist of NCT-U/WayV; and Lucas is a former rapper and visual of NCT-U/WayV.

SuperM was created by SM in collaboration with Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California. The group debuted in the U.S. in October 2019, so that is why all of their main track songs are mostly in English, because, as their debut song, "Jopping" was meant to be their foyer into the U.S. music market, and all their other songs are supposed to build on that.
And yes, SuperM are considered "the Avengers of Kpop". They have even collaborated with Marvel to create merchandise for SuperM's second album in 2020. They are so multi-talented, with some of the most influential idols in the industry, representing multiple nationalities and Kpop generations, who are poised to take over the world.
Mark is Korean-Canadian, so his native language is English. And WayV is the Chinese sub-unit of NCT, so not only does Ten and Lucas speak Korean and English, but they also speak Mandarin. Ten also speaks Thai because he is from Thailand and Lucas speaks Cantonese because he is from Hong Kong and a little Thai because his mom is Thai. And although, Baekhyun, Kai, Taemin and Taeyong are all native Korean, they also speak many other languages. For example, Taemin and his group SHINee are very popular in Japan, so he is fluent in Japanese as well.
Baekhyun is the leader and the oldest member who is currently 30. Mark is the youngest at 23. However, Taemin is the one with the most seniority in the group. Taemin is only 29 years old, but he debuted 4-10 years before any of the other members of SuperM. Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 when he was 14 years old, so he is a super senior member of the group. In other words, as part of the hierarchy of respect, Taemin is the one everyone looks up to. Which, might be why Taemin was chosen to play such a major role within the group's storyline, and why we have seen him prominently featured in almost everything to do with SuperM.
The concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group. Just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup.
I think the concept of the group all stems from EXO's concept and storyline. As I think you know, the members of EXO are all supposed to be aliens from Planet Exo, and each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them. From day one, EXO's story has been that they were sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, Baekhyun has the power to control light and Kai has the power of teleportation, so those powers are nothing new for them -- you see Kai teleport at the beginning of "Jopping" and you see Baekhyun using his light power as the car speeds away, etc. However, the concept of superpowers is new for all the other SuperM members. (You will see the other member's special powers and abilities if you check out all of their teaser trailer videos, which were originally released leading up to the release of their debut.)
Therefore, I think because Kai and Baekhyun are part of the group, SuperM's storyline is tied to EXOs storyline. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop the Red Force from corrupting and taking over the world, etc.
And just like the Marvel Avengers members each have their own superhero story, when they come together to form The Avengers they combine their stories and concepts and weave elements of each of the member's backstories into The Avengers storyline. I see SM Entertaiment doing the same thing with SuperM.
Also, just like how the Marvel Avengers come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's storyline. SuperM is taking members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And just like how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight.
And although NCT and SHINee don't have a backstory that has anything to do with being superheroes in the same way as EXO does, I find it interesting that, for example, NCT and WayV have songs called "Superhuman" and "Take Off" which both have sort of superhero type themes in their MVs, and one of Ten's solo songs is called "New Heroes". With what I know about SM, it wouldn't surprise me if this is something they have had in the works for a really long time and they probably have been creating ways to foreshadow things to come in SuperM that create connections between the members and their original groups. One thing SM has mastered since the creation of EXO, is how to tell a story and how to create a mystery that connects even the most minute of details together to build an epic adventure for fans.
SuperM's storyline is already connected to EXO's storyline, and I think SM may be working on expanding the story to its other groups, in the same way that "The Avengers" connects all the individual superheroes' stories when they come together to form The Avengers.
If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with their MV for "Moonwalk" and I think the story in their "Moonwalk" MV is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" and "Kick Back" MVs are also part of that story.
There are parts of several of WayV's MVs, such as "Moonwalk," where it looks as though Ten and Lucas are there to gather the members to bring them into the battle, and in "Turn Back Time" it looks like the WayV members are all beat up like they have been in a fight, which means they could have been in a battle with the Red Force, etc.
To help explain, I think EXO, as members of SuperM, are working with the other "Avengers" members to try and stop X-EXO. If you pay attention to what Kai and Baekhyun are wearing in "Jopping," their outfits are very similar to the all black outfits they are wearing in EXO's "Obsession " MV -- Kai even wears the same parachute backpack in both MVs -- which seems to indicate then that the version of Kai and Baekhyun in SuperM are the EXO members who are the good guys. Because in "Obsession" the members in all black are supposed to be EXO and the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup are the X-EXO members who have been created by the Red Force.
So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen., the members actually are around the same age as the members of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen.
And now I see connections being made with SHINee's most recent "Don't Call Me" and "Atlantis" MVs, as well as all of aespa's MVs and many of NCT's MV -- including NCT-127's "Save" MV, etc.-- and even SM's older groups, such as Kangta's "Free To Fly" MV, Super Junior's "House Party" MV and Max Changmin from TVXQ's solo "Devil" MV, etc. It is becoming clear that SM is designing the SM Universe to include all of its groups and it is tying all of their storylines together.
For instance, if you watch SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV you will see the SHINee members at one point go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all standing together in all black outfits. This looks very similar to the scene in "Jopping" when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of the MV as they are teleported or travel through the wormhole. So, it looks like maybe SHINee are preparing to eventually join in the fight as well.
It's all part of SM's SM Culture Universe storyline.
As an Exo l I would like to say that yes Kai is one of the best but I can't ignore Taemin. Kai and Taemin are one of the best dancers in Kpop

They're all good dancers. If I'm to asked, this lineup is actually all main dancers in KPOP. Vocally, I'd honestly give it to Baekhyun and Taemin. We should also not forget that SM is home of vocalists. When it comes to rapping, Tayong and Mark are on top. They all ate! Performance genius, I'm gonna give it to Kai and since Baekhyun is dubbed as the "performance genius", he may not be on Kai's level when it comes to dancing but his presence is powerful.
Teamin IS one of thé best dancers in kpop and the main dancer in SHINee sinsce 2008 hé IS also a soloiest hé IS awasome
This group is the AVENGERS OF KPOP because they still carry their original group concepts in SuperM hence why we still see Kai teleporting in the beginning and Baekhyun's light streaks following the vehicles in the desert.

This group was put together primarily for performance, so they all have huge stage presence and off the chart talent. Each one of them can dance with three main dancers who are top ten in Kpop - Kai and Taemin are often placed first. With them being pushed in the western market more, they have a lot of rap, which all of the members have also done, but as you can see here, Taeyong and Mark are at the top of that field. What is great is how quickly they clicked as a group. It becomes more and more evident in later tracks and interviews / shows. You'll enjoy reacting to their other tracks.
