So I built your swing, I used the Construct101 plans. I just used a tape measure and dreew the dimensions on the board freehand and then used that board as a template for the others. It went together very good, they are very good plans. I should have followed your lead in finish though I think. I used Varathane Spar Urethane and oh how I hate that stuff now. It was very hard to put on and it looks good but it is a long way from perfect. It has left dull and glossy streaks all over it. Other than that man this thing is really nice. I used Western Red Cedar for the wood. Even with the streakyness it is beautiful.
That's awesome! Spar urethane is definitely hard to deal with. Check out general finishes exterior 405 also. Its pretty easy to work with and soap and water cleanup
Hi, the template plans are available at the link in the description. It give you a grid layout that you can duplicate on a piece of plywood. Then just follow the lines!
Well explained very thorough 👍
Nice build.
Wow so proud of you! This is a great video and a beautiful swing! ❤️
Well done! Asking for tools for Christmas.

Great video, why didn't you use the router table to round the edges of the seat slats?
That's a great question. I do now but at the time the router I had in the table was difficult to change bits in.
I bought a set of plans was wondering if you sell the patterns for arm rest, bench back and bench seat supports thanks
I do not, sorry.
do you have the design in pdf or other ?
Do you share your template?
