I love the way you guys give fish dip to family and friends. I do the same thing for everyone in my tribe . As people of the sea you gotta take care of your people 🫡
I adore you guys.... like your Bianca...i was my dad's only son! He sure taught me so much....these memories will mean the world to her in the years to come!
Great job Ian, it thrills me to see you teaching Bianca how to treat our wildlife. I've never made bluefish dip because I never had access to it. I have used smoked mullet that I'm thinking would be almost as good.
Smoked Bluefish is Amazing. Super good stuff. Back in the 80s the Chesapeake was loaded with them. My father took some out to Wisconsin and my Uncle smoked them in an old refrigerator my Grandfather made. Good memories.
@@matscaife9014 Always, but you don't even have to cut it out. Just cut the filets off and you can grab the blood line and pull it out all the way down. Damn good for fish fries when you hit a massive school and really load up on meat and you wanna eat them quick, they don't store the best . But they are excellent if you fry them up fresh .
I really like your video and the fish dip looked yum. I have never made any so it will be on my list of things to do. The redfish was lucky, that you happened along to help him/her out.
Great job Ian and family. We love your videos. We have been watching since Bluegabe had you on his videos. Blessings from the Bodner family in Jacksonville Fl.
You are doing great with what you have. Dip looks great. I was very impressed with your shrimping video, never have seen anyone use bait to bring them in.
Tug i thought you were a good person. I loved this video you saving a fish an of course catching fish. You sir are a good man. Thankyou for saving the Redfish moma.
I want to encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing you’re content is up there with the best of them. I really appreciate you being a steward of the land like you are and helping revive the redfish and releasing it safely.
Looks Awesome!! Wanna try something that will amaze ya? Add Red Grapes sliced into 4s after your done blending. It sounds weird but I promise you won't make it again without them after you try it.
Bluefish are so fun to catch, they are like the piranhas of the sea with those teeth. Growing up in NY, when the season opened our limits were 10 per person per day no size limit. My biggest one was a 27 pound Gorilla Blue I caught drifting mackerel strips on a charter out of Captree Long Island. The Cocktail blues you and your daughter were catching are the perfect eating size even fillet and fried. Good Times & also their carcasses are perfect for crabbing.
I've gotta try this recipe thanks , I used to work on a tug. It ended my marriage 20 days on 10off. I enjoyed the work and got up to engineer, but I couldn't go any higher bc I'm colorblind.
Okay Ian, that looks delicious. I could almost taste it. I don't know how to get on the list to get some, but I'm sure that the friends, and the people you love really enjoy it. Keep doing what you do my friend. Make all the memories you can with your family. God Bless you and your family. Sam
Awesome we love your video. I can’t wait for us to catch some blues and try your recipe. I did catch one blue last week and smoked it up but I think I got it to dry and didn’t add in the right ingredients.
New subscriber here! Thanks for making some cool videos! They are great. I love how involved your family is. You seem to have a lot of fun together. Very fortunate!
I like your videos tug man keep them up I seen the first one with you and blue Gabe grilling some oysters out in the beds so I'm going down the line watching all of them I really enjoy them I'm originally from the little New Orleans area up in Arkansas right now miss all that fishing and seafood keep up the good work
Nice job TT. I've eaten your fish dip recipe (with a little minced onion and using old bay as dry seasoning) many times and it's delicious. It works with many fish, mullet included.
Ian I'm from jersey. That's what we call Snapper Blues. I would a Hopkins lure with a steel leader. I've caught them 18 to 20 lbs. I cook them in a steamer with citrus slices.
We do salmon dip and lake trout dip and crab dip up here in Alaska the waters are to cold for red fish or blue fish. Instead of mayo and jalapeno we use home made horseradish (fermented for 1 year)! The clients at our lodge can't get enough of it! Saw ya on Blue Gabe so subscribed the other day...
We’ve done this with freshwater catfish before and it’s delicious as well. It’s about a 5 hour drive to the beach for us so we have to improvise and catfish is the oiliest fish we have and it really was delicious with the correct sized fish, 8-12 pounders was what we liked best.
I SEE YOU TUG BOAT!!!!
😁
🤣🤣🤣
I remember on the Chesapeake bay in the 60' s 3& 4 foot blues with no problems. Times have changed. God I must be getting old.
Good stuff brother! Just subscribed, liked and hit the bell.
