The tech in those little guys just blows me away! It was neat to be so far down in the lake but still above water level.
The sailboat you saw is really a kayak. It can be paddled, sailed or there are foot pedals that can power itself back. As calm as it was, I suspect that the boater pedaled his way back to the dock.

Hello I am an avid watcher of your TH-cam channel but wanted to mention no one seems to be covering on the Mini 4 and how it has a (landing assist tool and will hunt out a landing pad )Most folks either catch or land in the elements .Have you ever mentioned it ?

Marcus, another great view of Lucky Peak Res., Much lower than when I was there. Do you know how low is the water level is, and how much lower can it go?
They're already filling it back up Mike. We had a big snowstorm today and the snow pack in the mountains is more than what we'll need.

Did you have a BVLOS waiver? There is no way you maintained visual line of sight with that quad for that flight.
