I think it's crazy that you could not fly to the top of the mountain. I've never been stopped when above a water tower... I was at 560 AGL (tower 160) with no issues. That would be a great place for the Avata! Send it! Like #140 - Thanks for sharing.... Loved the Pano!
Blue sky. Puffy white clouds. Varied landscape. Interesting vegetation. Placid, reflecting water. Sailboats. Demo of Mini 4 features. Informative narration. This flight has it ALL! Well done, Marcus. Cheers from Wisconsin.
Nice flight, and very interesting that you discovered those sail boots out on the river. And I;m glad you stopped and snapped some photos. Great flight Marcus, and thanks for sharing.
Beautiful pictures of the lake! The first boat is called a trimaran, a combination of "tri" and "catamaran". Also sometimes called a double outrigger. Helps stabilize the boat in high winds.
Cool video! That red boat is a Hobie Kayak. It can be paddled, sailed or there is a pedal driven mechanism that can propel it. It had the optional outriggers to be sailed in a stiff wind. The reservoir is down between those hills, so strong winds don't happen often. Tell that guy to come out to Kansas! That boat would FLY! It would be like an ice boat on a frozen lake. Your post popped up on my feed and it said it was only up for 4 minutes. I hopped on over to be the first to like it and someone beat me to it. At least I get to leave the first comment.
My family and I will be driving up to Boise from Phx. area on June 10th thru June 18th. This trip is mainly due to your videos and I want to thank you for posting your drone flights. I am a 107 drone pilot and have been flying DJI for yrs. I have an Inspire 2 (which I want to sell), a Phantom 4 pro and a DJI Mini 4 with the extended batteries. We are going to the Red Lion in Boise and my daughter is driving down from Coeur DAlene to see us. Besides spending time with our daughter, I want to fly the Snake River from Dedication Point, the Lucky Peak Reservoir and the Lucky Peak Reservoir at Turner Gulch thanks to your videos. Do you recommend any other beautiful locations. The videos and photos should be awesome. I can't wait.
You will have a great time Joe. My favorite flying spot is at the Snake River canyon, do not miss it. 🙂 You can also go up Bogus Basin road and get into the Boise foothills for some great flying. Enjoy!
Hi Marcus, nice flight with the Mini 4 Pro, thanks for sharing. You really need a round landing pad for precision landings. vbg I'm waiting for a comparison of precision landings experiment video when using a square or round landing pad.
Very relaxing flight to watch Marcus. Those were picture perfect postcard photos you got, I loved them. Wish I had something around here that looks that good. Keep up the good work.
Do you print those shots out your self or do you have a business print them for you. ? I print my own , but I can only do up to 9 by 12. They look good in print though. Great shots, hope you sell some.
I *think* that the drone missed its landing point because your shadow moved a bit to the left when landing compared to taking off It’s a nice video, though

Thank you, Capt., Joe. Yeah, that crappy DJI Occusync let me down! 😒

The water was perfect that day for those kind of shots. 👍 Thank you!
Tremendous flight plan. Loved it.

Wow what a class video ❤
Thank you so much Sam!
Beautiful area to fly a magnificent little drone.
Thank you Gerry! I do enjoy the Mini 4!
Por el segundo desfiladero debe de bajar más agua, estaba más frondoso y verde
There is another reservoir upstream from this one. 🙂
Great flight 🛸
Thank you!!

I've never had one printed John. 🤷♂️ They look great on my 4K monitor. 🙂
So if you weren't near a flyway to an airport will DJI allow you to go above 150 meters?
Yes, they would, but 120 meters is the legal limit. 👍

Thank you, that could be. 👍
👌🏿🛩️
Thank you!
The last comment was from Joe Webber not Judith.
hey Marcus! 👈🥸👉 Are you going to drive to the SFDM or take a flight to the SFDM?
I'm flying Brendan. 👍
