- To kick off our second day of the 2019 SEMA Show, Cindy and I made our first stop over at EVO Manufacturing. This was their first time displaying at SEMA and as luck would have it, they brought out their brand new Jeep JT Gladiator Sport known as, JT-1. In addition to the Double Throw Down suspension system, long arms, Quarter Pounder front bumper with stinger, roof rack and bed rack they had installed, they were also showing off their all new and badass carbon fiber Rubicon fenders. Our next stop was over at DECKED where we got to see some of the cool new accessories they were introduction to the hugely popular truck bed storage system and finally, we said hello to AEV and got a run down of what they've released for both the JT Gladiator and JL Wrangler. I recently bought the AEV Borah wheels for the JL. Gotta say, I’m very impressed with the quality and styling. I know the trend is less backspace. But the 5.75 in backspace is part of what sold me. I really wanted to try a “what’s old is new” look; as well as extend the life of my ball joints/bearings. Thanks for highlighting that for everyone Eddie! Great job, keep up the good work.

Delighted to see Mel in SEMA and impressive his EVO Gladiator. I love that carbon fibre fenders. Talking about AEV, I love knowledge and experience applied with simplicity but with a lot of sense in their Jeeps. Among other things I highlight the beautiful steel wheels,I love it.

Hope you have lots of patience. They took way too long releasing JL parts so they lost my business there and not waiting on them either for the JT.

Yeah seriously, I'm wondering if they even make parts or if it's all just vaporware. Now that the gladiator is out it seems that's all anyone cares about, guess Wrangler owners are SoL.
Adam the Gladiator is the biggest thing right now. It will die down eventually.
For people like me who are not allowed inside SEMA, I really appreciate the great video. Majority of the video was on AEV. In reality I don't think you are able to cover all Jeeps, but I will be looking forward to many videos. Keep up the good work!

What did you mean that the ball joints would not take a beating vs what you get from other aftermarket wheels ?
@@efibendor1 What Larry said, I will just add that the further out the wheel is acts as leverage on the hubs/bearings which is why they wear out faster than tight sitting wheel center.

I really like the sink and stove set up on the back of the decked JT.
It's cool but it does seem to take up an ungodly amount of space with the current config.

Thanks Eddie for the daily report. I love AEV, had the 2.5” liftkit on the JL, but the bumpers are almost 1 year on ‘backorder’ !!!!!! Crazy👎☹️ hope that the new product will be available first quarter as told......

Yeah that was a funny understatement. You could see by the smile on Dave's face that he didn't want to get to much into that. The JT should be called Brute 2.

If anyone seen the brute 6 years ago, and when Jeep announced the gladiator and people went crazy, these other people were like “wtf, jeeps mass producing the brute and calling it gladiator?!!!” Hahahaha. I do wonder, cuss I never seen aev say anything negative, if Jeep paid him good money for the design and help in producing the gladiator??!!

AEV needs to rethink grill guard on their new bumper. It looks like it will interfere with the front trail cam.
BTW, you missed that entirely new Lietner bed rack on the Decked Gladiator. It looks pretty sweet IMO.
I was trying to see if Leitner was at the show and cover it there but apparently, they just gave a bunch of their racks to people attending.

I've been wanting to ask you what you thought about AEV. I am considering their lift kit for the RAM 1500. They appear to have a well thought out kit that would actually work. So, what do you think about their products?
AEV makes solid products. Some of the nicest around for a RAM. A bit pricey but I would highly recommend them.
what fenders are on the EVO Gladiator at 0:52 mark?
