Love the detailed reviews of SEMA this year. Rugged Ridge is doing great. I want that bed rack now. If they could tie into a third piece behind cab for stability that would be awesome! This way it could stand alone or with two cross bars.
The Red truck at 14:16 in the video. That is nice. I like that bumper with the extended section in front of the tires. I like that look better than the usual short bumper that exposes the large tire and open fender. Very nice. That Ridge snorkel is smoking. The rack looks great and very functional for carrying kayaks and a large Yakima box. Is the rack a Rhino Rack or a Rugged Ridge variation? Man, Rugged Ridge stuff is great. The Cargo Glide for the bed of the truck. That is a great idea. I plan to buy a Gladiator for pulling my Travel Trailer. I'm currently pulling it with a Jeep Sahara. That sliding cargo bed would be great to get to stuff in the bed of the truck while RVing. Great presentation.
That roof slide would be nice on a mid height rack for a top mounted 37,40 inch tire. Im strong, but I gotta realize I'm getting to old to lift heavy stuff lol
Eddie, looking forward to seeing you install the Rugged Ridge snorkel. You always do a great job of explaining what you're doing, why you're doing it, and which tools you need on your Installations. I wish the manufacturers would hire you to make their install videos.

I have to agree with others, that @ruggedridge has really stepped up their game. I’m just a bit concerned with how big their organization has become. Historically when you merge multiple companies, the product quality suffers, and you they tend to become less customer focused. I hope this doesn’t happen with them. I guess time will tell.
Wayalife any insight as to when I can order my diesel? I don’t want my frame cut but I wanna get the bolt on evo treatment plus the rugged ridge stuff. Maybe the ARB stubby or AEV front instead but wow I’m glad I stayed away from SEMA it’s like Christmas

Rugged Ridge has a lot of awesome stuff. Nice to see they've taken some new products for the JL and designed them for the JK. CargoGlide is another great product. I'm amazed there are any JT's on the dealership lots since there are so many being used to showcase aftermarket products. I'd be curious to hear how many JT's were at SEMA. Rugged Ridge snorkel nice but the tail light protectors are useless, for looks only, trees have no mercy. Best intell at the show, others are just showing shots of vehicles not much talk with the dealers.

Well done guys, love the content. I have had two trucks I set up with bed slides and loved them both, built my own dividers, one for trap shooting/hunting, the other for work with safety gear/medical and tools, both rigs had camper shells and can’t imagine them out in the elements unsecured though. So happy that the DLRs will still work with the stock fenders. I like the stock Rubicon fenders except the OEM lights. Those DLRs clean it up in my opinion!

Awesome to hear and no, you are not correct. Or at least, not entirely. I can't speak to the legality of it in all states but the air bags are triggered by a sensor that measures deceleration and it's located inside your Jeep

I've been watching many videos for fenders and flares. I don't see any that cover wide tires. In my state the fender must cover the entire tire. Not almost all. The entire tire. The tire can not extreme beyond the body. There's good reason for this, but PA can't be the only state like this. What are the wide fender options?

What issues would JL Sport owners run into if trying to install the bracket DRL from Rugged Ridge? Or any of the other companies like oracle, quake, AAL? I saw your other video where you installed them but I don’t have a Ruby. TIA.
Rubicon fenders sit higher up than a Sport or Sahara. The DRL brackets would be too high up for your Jeep. Rugged Ridge will have a version of this for you though.
5:05 Patrick didn’t watch the day of carnage on the JL/JT experience. I have the new Arcus bumper that was on the Telico Jeep and love it. Been waiting for the DRLs and will look at that HD rear bumper that was on the JT. Thanks Eddie and Cindy for all your coverage. A question though. Will there be a super cut of everything you guys might have looked at but didn’t get a chance to put out on your regular uploads? Something like a Dope or Nope video?
@wayalife...will the Cargo Glide slide out bed tray work in conjunction with the Bed Deck system? I’m thinking this would be great for my JT! I’m a Sheriffs Deputy and I have to Cary a lot of gear in my off duty vehicle, and the Deck system gives me the ability to keep that gear out of the weather and locked securely, but it does take away some of the bed usefulness. Cargo Glide might just be the solution I am looking for.
I somehow doubt it. While it might be possible to install on top of a Decked, I double it could hold 1000 lbs of weight when fully extended. In the end, Decked is just made out of plastic.
I considered the Cargo Glide in my last build. Instead I went with an RV cargo drawer for 1/3 the cost. Didn't look quite as nice, but it was just as functional at a much lower price. On this build I went with the Decked system. Very much like the upper rack sling and will check those out when they hit the market.
Assuming you can drive with the Cargo Slide in the extended position, it would be great if the side rails were the same height as the wheel wells. You’d have additional support/bed length for full sheets (4’x8’) of building materials.
Having seen both in person and up close, I can tell you that these Rugged Ridge ones look much nicer. Cleaner fit and the lip underneath is a sharp detail. These are what I would want.
That rugged ridge guy was probably the best person I've seen at SEMA. Smart, and honest. Much preferred

I have that bed slide in the back of a Battalion Chief truck. It works great. I can see a great application in the multi-use of the gladiator.

For the JL and JT, not too much is available yet. You'd be better served to just make sure to run wheels with a lot more back spacing.
I think the Cargo Glide stuff was my favorite in this video. On their website right now...
