Let's talk about the deepest of (and greatest) deep cuts from Rush's catalog. #progrock #classicrock Subscribe to TH-cam: / @focus-sleep-study ☕ www.buymeacoff...
@@focus-sleep-study Heard Rush on the Radio, can't even tell you what song(s), very unfamiliar with rock n roll, was a later bloomer in 1979. Went to the concert cause I was instantly hooked on rock concerts, early big ones, BOC, STYX. Saw AC/DC w/bon scott open for Journey. OMG did like Rush, didn't know Neil was as good as he was until much later. Started into their back catalog, by time I saw them for MP in Reno in '81 I was all-in, replaced BOC as my #1. Until Signals, then disowned them for a year until I wised up. BTW seen Rush 21x, seen over 500 rock concerts.
@@phoenixtypewriter2136 I do miss the discovery of new bands on a great radio station. You never knew when it was going to happen and the world changed a little the day you discovered that new band. I remember hearing Metallica for the first time and thinking “what am I hearing right now!?” Rush was a bucket list band to see live and unfortunately I waited too long. But thankfully they’re so much good concert footage to visit any day
OK list . . .
I Like : Lessons, 2112
I Like : In The End, Fly By Night
Nice picks!
Do you remember hearing Rush for the first time?
