    Excellent videos. I have the opposite problem where I do not like being outside when it is 25⁰ or warmer or when it is too bright and sunny. Packing around gear and whatnot in warm weather is not ideal.

      I'm happy to see you liked the video. I actually like to go out on those warmer days. But that is also because I know the chances of local fog after a cold night a pretty high. Thanks for watching grt guido

    Great tips Guido. Never give up on conditions and head out because you will never know what will happen. Most of the time, nothing happens, but there are moments when you feel that it’s just worth it. Learning to react with what we get is a valuable skill 😁 love the examples!

      Thanks u think the most valuable skill for a photographer is to adapt to whatever he gets during the day. Sometimes we get those stunning shots but it's also good to stay happy with ok shots. I don't always have to be a portfolio worthy shot. Just enjoy it that is what is important. Thnx for watching grt guido

    For me, it is high wind. Pushing myself out the door. I love shooting on rainy days, surprises everywhere.

      I have to say that I don't enjoy photographing in the rain but when the results are there it can get enjoyable haha. Sometimes income to the conclusion the camera can handle the rain better then I can 😅 thanks for watching grt guido

    Some guys say F-8 and be there. You will always miss every shot that you don't take. I've been challenged with the weather lately too. Great shots!

      I have to say that I'm struggling through winter also. Hopefully, it will become better weather soon. As much as I know that there are images to shoot when weather is bad. I have to say that I enjoy good weather far more 😅 thanks for watching Mike!

      Ansal Adams is really a great photographer, especially when you consider the time he was active. I recently bought a book from him. Was really impressed. Thanks for watching and your kind comment. Apriciate it. Grt guido

    A great inspirational video that has encouraged me to get off my ass and get out there. You truly are the Dutch Master of landscape photography.

      Thanks. I like that title 🙂 happy to see you enjoyed the video. And don't worry, I have my periods where I'm far too lazy also. Hopefully, with the good weather arriving, I will be able to go out more again 🙂 grt guido

    Love success on a crappy day. More of a challenge and less people to deal with in my area that have absolutely no ethics whatsoever to get in the way. Wonderful images. Thanks for sharing.

      Thats it! Succes on a crappy day somehow feels way better then on any other day! I almost never come across anyone when I'm out for photography. I'm a bit allergic to visiting popular locations so maybe thats the reason i rarely see anyone when I'm out. Thanks for your support I apriciate it! Grt guido

    I can confirm your tipps and experience. You don´t have expectations, so you can´t get disappointed. FYI. in german the mushroom is called Klebriger Hörnling (Calocera viscosa).

    • @GuidoVanDeWater
      @GuidoVanDeWater  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In dutch its called "kleverig koraal zwammetje" translated to english its somethibg like sticky coral fungus so that sounds the same as your german. But its a really nice subject to photograph. Thanks for watching and your comment! Grt guido

    Good advice with some impressive images … the one with your son gives the landscape tremendous scale and a few wildlife images that work well ( Maybe you’ll get lucky in Scotland one day and capture a Scottish wildcat shot )
    Thanks again Martin 👍

      I looked up that cat because i didn't know it. But if I've seen it, I would have passed it, haha. It looks exactly like the cats the people here in the netherlands keep at home. But next time I keep my eye out, it looks so cool. Thanks for watching and your kind comment. i appreciate it. Grt guido

    Hoi Guido
