It’s funny how the N63TU3 in the M*50i cars can make that same 690tq figure on 93 wit intakes n DPs. Same as the V8 M cars. Real close to the stage 2 S58 torque figure. Which is exactly where this platform shines, and the V8s fall off. While the M*50i cars will make 640-650ish AWHP, the S63 cars will make 720-740ish AWHP with bolt ons and 93, the S58 (on E) can run nearly 850-900AWHP without opening the motor. The V8 BMWs rods are going out the newly made window in their block past 750AWHP.
Great video! If you had to guess, how much would i lose vs. this setup if i go with catted AA downpipes (400cel GESI cats) instead of catless, and go with drop in filters instead of front mount intakes? Everything else being the same...
I was told by a well known tuner than between the pump 93 and the e50 you won’t get a scaled hp percentage you’ll have e20 in and basics be getting 93 power numbers which I was very disappointed with as was hoping to be able to run an in between hp number on e20/e30
