My buddy has a dyno but specializes in Mustangs, said I could rent it if I can find someone to remote tune since he isn’t savvy with bimmer engines. Would basically be your 600 hp package w/800 turbo, cooling mods done and a spicy downpipe.
if im on ecutek would yall work with botti on the tunes? mine is currently tuned by him on 93 pump and looking to upgrade some parts for a bit more power
How stable is the back end of these cars at 700whp Do they just loop out and crash like mustangs and dodge vipers because there’s no traction? Where’s the sweet spot What are the best tires to limit traction issues for the summer and winter when it’s colder on the roads
Those are some nice numbers , too bad here in NY you cant tune your car anymore do to inspection reasons..once those monitors on your DP are turned off automatically fail..😞
Motiv reflex controls the port injection while tied into MHD+. It basically tells the injectors when to spray fuel directly off the ports in the manifold into the engine.
Daaam pricey.... Should rather get a 2024 mustang with a Stage 2 Whipple. And keep that warranty and have 750-800Whp. On 93 only 😉 But the Supra is a car for the person that like to drive the car on track days tho !
Almost $22k in parts on top of the $50-60k car price to make to make 700hp🤯💀 For the price of the 22k add ons you can buy a c6 corvette for like 18k of it and throw another 20k at it and probably be at 700 if not more hp....with 34k left over for a second car to build. You could even push the c6 to 1xxxhp+ and STILL have money left for what it would cost to get this supra to 700hp😮💨
Keep in mind this includes a $6K transmission upgrade to handle 700+wtq. If you take that out, the deal is pretty solid, and this investment sets the car up for tons more output. Power for this stage is just the limit of the turbo and trans at this point. You can put 1050cc injectors and bigger turbo and push 800-900whp if you wanted. And still be on a stock motor B58.

About 3k in maintenance and maybe 7k in parts with most of the labor done by me I was able to make 536whp on a car that cost less than a tax return. Going forward looking for something more modern and capable of more power the Supra came to mind but then you factor in all the cost of purchase, maintenance, and performance I just couldn't bring myself to do it, mainly because I have kids. I couldn't justify that much into a car that I "legally" couldn't fully enjoy vs investing into my kids education. Anything with bmw stamped on it is going to cost you at some point but if I was a single man with money to blow.....Supra for sure. But for my situation a vette would be more practical dollar for dollar
Bro or even worse... just buy a stock ass ctsv2.... upper pully only and headers and injectors on E85 will make 630 wheel. And run a 10.5 ish. On a 19 inch tire. Full weight. You can find a used ctsv2 for around 25k. And for less than 3k all in you can make well over 600 hp. Lol.
It’s making peak HP at around 6500rpm. Look at the area under the curve. The power band on this car is abundant. I’m really not sure what you’re getting at by saying it’s not a nice racing engine.

I had a Gen 3 10r80 and went to a Supra. I was always a biased American car guy but this car has open mind a lot I love it it’s so fun to drive.

I can’t get my head around the redline in this car. It’s like a diesel. Not a nice racing engine at all.
It’s the turbo… its dies a 5 k
B58 7000rpm redline. Not sure what diesels you’re driving that do that
