Right now everyone on Instagram is wearing the exact same colour scheme and outfits from the same stores. I wasn't born to be vanilla.
I am into vintage Chanel from the 80s and 90s. What attract me are 1) discontinued styles that work better for my lifestyle and wardrobe, and 2) better quality and craftsmanship - love the thicker but soft lambskin and the 24k gold. They are also at a lower price point (at least the styles that I like) than the current retail prices at Chanel. But buying vintage needs a lot of research and I also believe in “meant to be” since sometime certain styles or colors are hard to come by, especially in good condition.

I always go back and watch Dior fashion shows from the John Galliano Era! Those were the ones that got me hooked on fashion when i was in highschool! I have never purchased a new dior bag from the store but i always admire the nostalgic styles from the 2000s

From one Chris to another hahah ..I could not watch the others out there ..and some less than 5 min i had to switch off but for Dacob ..woo.. we sure to watch until the very end…he is so knowledgeable and his content and delivery are always so organic ..so him ! I see your point when you say that a bag that sits x years in a store' stock must be considered as used but actually it is not true: it remains unused and in fact the company is losing money in keeping it instore for x amount of time because of storage space + its value kind of decrease when sitting for too long in stock
Its value decreases if you keep it in your storage too. Obviously. Plus it gets kept shoved left and right all the time while in the store/stockroom. After a while, it is indeed to be actually considered as used, even in the store. The fact that the bag causes the store to lose money cuz they have to keep it in their stock does not exclude the fact that the bag becomes used with time. The one fact obviously does not exclude the other. I have spoken about stores stock rooms and the money they lose by keeping products in stock in many other videos of mine, which you might have also watched.

i prefer vintage for discontinued bags, but NOT used! i don't mind paying same amount for vintage items as long as they're in great condition, otherwise not. I agree. It isn't used as in 'carried around.' If anything, a bag that sits in a stock room is just old.
