You are 1 of the Vocal coach that i like so far. Because you still explain & demo the vocal technique even though certain part have louder backing track than the live vocal. Unlike some vocal coach that i watched before, they are too bother with the backing track instead of explaining the technique. Its like having a backing tracks is a crime for a singers.
what i like about Jimin's performances is that he doesn't try to convince you that *he's* singing whenever he lets the backing track take over. Like sometimes he mimes a few words hear and there but i feel that's more of a natural thing that happens when you dance, if you know what i mean? there's certain parts where he's clearly more focused on dancing and so instead of half-assing both the dance and singing he goes fully into the dance.
It is so melancholy and emotive and shows their vocal range so well. One of the saddest but most beautiful songs ever, though I do say the same thing about The Truth Untold. Blue and Grey is the jewel in Taehyung's crown, however.
He just killed it the entire album. His verses in Fly To My Room is killer, Dis-ease bridge is obviously excellent, Telepathy verse is also great. His adlibs are amazing in all the songs. I love his talk-singing. He should totally do some melodious rapping if he did an album or mixtape. He’s really found his preferred tone and style this year.

Some people maybe just want to have a moment of what they perceive to be "power", even if its a subconscious thing where they feel sad or angry that day so they dislike every video they come across or even some people will literally search the keyword for something they hate and dislike every video they open. So basically, unless you're getting disliked to hell compared to your likes I wouldn't worry about it! :) Years of random watches through TH-cam has taught me no matter what peoples content is, someone will dislike it. Jimin's voice is really very outstanding, I have a vocal training so at first I was like how did he do that? And his voice and performances got me into BTS. You are correct, he really is doing a smashing job! So proud of our JIMIN!

62 year old American great grandmother here. You are teaching me so much, WOW, the work that goes into singing makes BTS men even MORE ASTONISHING! Love the way you mimic them. JIMIN, my bias for voice, dance, personality, looks (don’t JUST mean face but his eyes). He is between 5’8 & 5’9 so yes, little. His voice “contained & protected” as HE IS BY HIS BROTHERS. “A lot going on here” with his voice. There is a lot going on with this gorgeous young man: he is sweet, gentle, loving, DEMONSTRATIVE in his affection for his “brothers” also, he is a “SMOOTHIE”, a sensual angel! He and his brothers have lived TOGETHER for 8 years. They are brothers in every sense of the word except blood: prank each other, comfort each other when sad, cook for each other, wrestle, tease, playfully slap or poke each other, have disagreements which they MUST RESOLVE immediately with the whole group then with each other, KNOW each other well, CHEER for one another, help one another! They absolutely SUPERB YOUNG MEN, TRUE IDOLS, MENTORS!
Ahhh finally!! I'm so excited. Jimin's voice is one of my favorite voices ever because he has such a skill for emoting through his voice. He can make you *feel* what the song is about even if you don't understand the lyrics. He's never had any vocal training so he definitely hasn't actually learnt to fully unlock his voice or utilize all his strengths. But despite that I think people are drawn to him because his tone is just so mesmerizing and he's such a storyteller in everything he does that you can't help but be drawn in.
My all time favorite of the 4 vocalist together is House of Cards live. I suggest reading lyrics before hand to get a feel of the meaning and then just enjoy the show.
Jimin sings like an angel. 💜 A thing I have noticed about Jimin is he has excellent control over his entire body, and they all dance well, but Jimin's dancing just has that *something* extra that draws you in, enthralls you. He moves like water. He's stunning.

I love Jimin as a singer, he worked really hard and would get frustrated when he thought he wasnt making progress, in one of his earlier logs he was telling that he only wanted to have the kind of voice that touched people so there was nothing to it but keep practicing.

Jimin is an amazinggggg singer but an even better dancer. When he does stage performances he definitely focuses more on dancing, so the backing is usually a bit louder on his than other solos so that his breathing isn’t so prominent
I love the sound of another round and the rapline! I also definitely recommend watching full group performances, that's where they shine the brightest 🤩
and i love that you can hear that he's singing live! he skips some lines, he finishes a bit early because he's out of breath, but he still sounds lovely!
I think many people who love to claim Jimin as the “worst” vocalist in BTS or saying he’s bad doesn’t realize than many of the things they think sound bad are actually stylistic choices. You can agree or disagree with them, but they are not errors. Sure, all they boys have had vocal cracks, are off pitch or loose their breath, but that is a different thing and it happens to everyone. Jimin does actually use several difficult techniques. Just his vocal riff in Serendipity is pretty hard to do.
I personally LOVE Jimin's voice because it is so shaped by his stylistic choices, which makes it so unique. It is inimitable. I love that you brought that up.

Jimin has a beautiful voice, and I love listening to him. I do sometimes wish he would dial back the vocal fry and “crying” effect a bit though. Not so much on this song-I think he does a good job balancing those techniques here, and it is one reason why Serendipity is one of my favorite Jimin solos songs. However, he tends to use those techniques a lot, and I feel like it can get in the way of the beautiful, clear, sweet quality his voice naturally has. Make it Right is an example of a song where I think a little less would be better. I should say that my personal preference is sparing use of vocal fry in general, and some of this is simply stylistic choices that come down to individual tastes. Still, in live shows, you hear him combining lots of vocal fry and crying effect, and put together with his fast vibrato, it can be a bit over the top when he is singing at a high volume. All that being said, I think Jimin is a wonderful vocalist, and BTS just wouldn’t sound nearly as good or unique without him. 💜 P.S. Otis is adorable. 🥰
Don't let Jimin hear you call him, 'little'. He's 5'8" and packs talent into every inch. He's an essential part of what makes BTS unique. Each member of the vocal line has a distinctive voice which is easy to pick out. They bring a different feel to the lines they sing. Jimin is doubly blessed as he not only has a wonderful voice but can dance beautifully as well. Listen to him in 'Butterfly' to hear those breathy tones at their best.

When you combine Jimin's unique voice with his natural charm and flirtatiousness, it can really make you wonder if Angels do exist. And I am not exaggerating. He behaves just like he sounds, he is everyone's go to when they need an ear or a hug, he quietly takes care of his members and fans, he gives really great advice on his live vlogs with the fans - and just for sh*ts and giggles, he is also an academic marvel in Mathematics, reads constantly and has black belts in 4 different Martial Arts and is a classically trained dancer. I am tired just thinking about it. He and Suga are my 2 favorite people in the world.

A good version is BTS Performs "Blue & Grey" | MTV Unplugged. I had a hard week and that performance made me feel like I was not alone.

JIMIN, my bias for voice, dance, personality, looks (don’t JUST mean face but his eyes). He is between 5’8 & 5’9 so yes, little. His voice “contained & protected” as HE IS BY HIS BROTHERS. “A lot going on here” with his voice. There is a lot going on with this gorgeous young man: he is sweet, gentle, loving, DEMONSTRATIVE in his affection for his “brothers” also, he is a “SMOOTHIE”, a sensual angel! He and his brothers have lived TOGETHER for 8 years. They are brothers in every sense of the word except blood: prank each other, comfort each other when sad, cook for each other, wrestle, tease, playfully slap or poke each other, have disagreements which they MUST RESOLVE immediately with the whole group then with each other, KNOW each other well, CHEER for one another, help one another! They absolutely SUPERB YOUNG MEN, TRUE IDOLS, MENTORS!
I have never learned THIS much in other vocal reactions of Jimin's voice. Thank you! And Otis is the cutest.

Ahhh finally!! I'm so excited. Jimin's voice is one of my favorite voices ever because he has such a skill for emoting through his voice. He can make you *feel* what the song is about even if you don't understand the lyrics. He's never had any vocal training so he definitely hasn't actually learnt to fully unlock his voice or utilize all his strengths. But despite that I think people are drawn to him because his tone is just so mesmerizing and he's such a storyteller in everything he does that you can't help but be drawn in.

My all time favorite of the 4 vocalist together is House of Cards live. I suggest reading lyrics before hand to get a feel of the meaning and then just enjoy the show.
Jimin sings like an angel. 💜 A thing I have noticed about Jimin is he has excellent control over his entire body, and they all dance well, but Jimin's dancing just has that *something* extra that draws you in, enthralls you. He moves like water. He's stunning.

I love Jimin as a singer, he worked really hard and would get frustrated when he thought he wasnt making progress, in one of his earlier logs he was telling that he only wanted to have the kind of voice that touched people so there was nothing to it but keep practicing.

Jimin is an amazinggggg singer but an even better dancer. When he does stage performances he definitely focuses more on dancing, so the backing is usually a bit louder on his than other solos so that his breathing isn’t so prominent

I think many people who love to claim Jimin as the “worst” vocalist in BTS or saying he’s bad doesn’t realize than many of the things they think sound bad are actually stylistic choices. You can agree or disagree with them, but they are not errors. Sure, all they boys have had vocal cracks, are off pitch or loose their breath, but that is a different thing and it happens to everyone. Jimin does actually use several difficult techniques. Just his vocal riff in Serendipity is pretty hard to do.
I personally LOVE Jimin's voice because it is so shaped by his stylistic choices, which makes it so unique. It is inimitable. I love that you brought that up.

Jimin has a beautiful voice, and I love listening to him. I do sometimes wish he would dial back the vocal fry and “crying” effect a bit though. Not so much on this song-I think he does a good job balancing those techniques here, and it is one reason why Serendipity is one of my favorite Jimin solos songs. However, he tends to use those techniques a lot, and I feel like it can get in the way of the beautiful, clear, sweet quality his voice naturally has. Make it Right is an example of a song where I think a little less would be better.
I should say that my personal preference is sparing use of vocal fry in general, and some of this is simply stylistic choices that come down to individual tastes. Still, in live shows, you hear him combining lots of vocal fry and crying effect, and put together with his fast vibrato, it can be a bit over the top when he is singing at a high volume.
All that being said, I think Jimin is a wonderful vocalist, and BTS just wouldn’t sound nearly as good or unique without him. 💜

Don't let Jimin hear you call him, 'little'. He's 5'8" and packs talent into every inch. He's an essential part of what makes BTS unique. Each member of the vocal line has a distinctive voice which is easy to pick out. They bring a different feel to the lines they sing. Jimin is doubly blessed as he not only has a wonderful voice but can dance beautifully as well. Listen to him in 'Butterfly' to hear those breathy tones at their best.

When you combine Jimin's unique voice with his natural charm and flirtatiousness, it can really make you wonder if Angels do exist. And I am not exaggerating. He behaves just like he sounds, he is everyone's go to when they need an ear or a hug, he quietly takes care of his members and fans, he gives really great advice on his live vlogs with the fans - and just for sh*ts and giggles, he is also an academic marvel in Mathematics, reads constantly and has black belts in 4 different Martial Arts and is a classically trained dancer. I am tired just thinking about it. He and Suga are my 2 favorite people in the world.
All of them do it without trying their just brilliant, also they could stand on stage and sneeze and crowd would go crazy 😜
