I've always had Apple Music it comes with my phone contract. You think the quality's will be a lot better on my powernode with tidal hifi plus?
On 2/8/2023 Tidal launch the HiRes FLAC audio quality.
Any suggestions on which is better for car audio?
Try Tidal’s highest plan. In terms of audio quality, it’s the best you can get in the market.
Sound quality isn't there but it's well curated
Very True, always seems to be a balancing act, on which is most important to you
For most people the ecosystem they are in will help choose and for audiophiles it will be Tidal hands down.
I have Tidal’s highest tier for $11. Is there anything music would offer over it for that price?
I found out there is no longer an android app and I have an android phone as well.
Of course Apple Music has an android app working 💯 and I bet with your discounts you may be paying $5.99 for Apple Music
I like tidal, but they dont have a lot of asian artist/bands so im moving back to apple music
Oh, I just got into kpop and jpop, because I'm learning both languages. Qobuz doesn't have much so I'm not going with them. Guess I'll go with apple music as well.
Apple 1 make sense if they let you pick what you need and no what they want to sell.
Do you think Deezer's audio quality is on par with Tidal or worse?
Supposedly worse since it does not provide true lossless audio. Just that it has mp3 320 kbps, which is nowhere near the better format of Tidal's audio.
@@stevejordan544 No. Deezer has Flac 16 bit. But not 24 bit from what I can see. However, Tidal does provide some 24 bit flac. But can 16 bit flac be considered lossless? 24 bit flac is CD quality, so I guess not.
@@KarmaisReal-sm6bz24 bit FLAC is hi-res. Only 16-bit/44.1kHz is CD quality, anything higher than that is hi-res
what hardware would be enough to experience tidal to the fullest? i only have airpod pros
You would need a hires DAC + wired headphones/IEMS
I just bought Questyle's NHB 15 USB-C IEMs. They come with a built in DAC. My new work horses.
Qubuz is Great!
Bluetooth isn’t lossless so if you most listen on Bluetooth headphones then it doesn’t matter.
Unless it’s adpx lossless
@@RobertrVror ldac
@@myxobe LDAC isn’t lossless , it only goes up to 990kbps according to SONY themselves.
@@RobertrVr ohh ok didn't know ty
And the winner is: Qobuz!
Also tidal will not work on Bluetooth headphones in high res dude! Thais is sponsored by tidal?
Oh no, it actually does, see you need to have the right equipment. I mean if you try to stream something on Bluetooth 4.2 it won’t work, a lot of times it will work on android phones with the right receiving end. At least this is for me.🤓
Apple limit their HiRes lossless on pretty much everything device. In other words, although they offer HiRes & it’s great to brag - most people can’t get it because of the Apple restrictions.
Tidal genuinely offer the stream & want you to use it
What about Spotify??
Nope
it's not audiophile, till they do the update that they keep saying they will do, but never do. Spotify will be regimented as podcast.
Spotify there's no lossless audio
Not in the race😂
Spotify for normal consumers.. tidal for people who love every detail in the song, they want to hear the song just like how the producer produce the song
black man made streams 🛀 change 🎂
i never understood why youtubers/reviewers play that 99$ bs game on their channels , do you sell them as well ?
99$ game??? No idea sorry
Apple only have losless in apple platform, so apple is a no go.
Pushing the debunked MQA scam makes me laugh, psychoacoustic fanboys.
Tidal has mostly FLAC now
I know mate but mqa fanboys pushed it for years saying their hear the ultimate difference 😂😂😂
Тидал просто откровенное дерьмо , где на каждой странице тебе пытаются затолкать реп. В то время как в Эпл только то , что ты слушаешь и ничего лишнего
Tidal has been debunked to have fake lossless, so no Apple music takes this one by far and it's not even close
It shows you what's MQA and what's FLAC now, so no. Also Apple Music doesn't let you stream lossless over Bluetooth so it's useless. It also looks like ass. The only good thing is its library. It's one of the best along with Spotify.
@@georgeemerald4389 How do you expect losless over Bluetooth?!😂😂😂
@@georgeemerald4389Bluetooth isn’t lossless. You can’t listen to lossless audio over Bluetooth you need a wired headset like apple EarPods
Lossless is meant for people who listen with hi-fi setups, like for example open back headphones running with a dac and amp setup. Using earbuds to listen to lossless is pointless, you won’t notice the difference. Especially not with bluetooth, bluetooth forces you to compress the audio, making it impossible to have lossless audio through bluetooth.
the company that licensed MQA actually went bankrupt so i believe they started phasing out that fake lossless
Apple Music beats Tidal.. i've compared both apps with the same HiRes lossless quality in many songs with Sony XM5 earphones, and Apple is superior 🙌
Wireless Sony headphones and Tidal Hi-Res? hahahahahaha. You must buy headphones with wire and then listen Hi-Res music.
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH FUNNY JOKE @@Milo_Molnar
Xm5's aren't hi-fi, especially using wireless
I thought so too until I purchased the THX Onyx amplifier and I was surprised how much better the sound is with Tidal. You cannot really judge sound with a bluetooth headphone. Wired is still King!
Apple Music doesn't even let you stream lossless over Bluetooth. Are you deaf?
Apple Music sound quality is so poor compared to Tidal
It’s the same thing , Apple Music uses ALAC WHICH IS THE SAME AS FLAC , and you can hear lossless audio over Bluetooth it just has to supported EX; adpx Lossless
@@RobertrVr
I know what I’m listening to.
I don’t care if ALAC is the same as FLAC, the music I hear is definitely not the same.
With Tidal, the music is more refined and loud.
Apple Music is not. Imagine using AirPods Pro Gen 2, iPhone 14 Pro, and an ecosystemized Apple Music, but you get music that doesn’t sound as good as your rival. What’s the selling factor then?
@@MrNiceGuy0891 I get your point , I agree . But quick question , when making that comparison were you using Tidal on an Android and Apple Music on an iPhone ?
@@RobertrVr
They’re all the same, iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Music and AirPods Pro Gen 2. In fact I don’t have an Android device.
As a last resort, I did this:
Settings > Music > Audio > Audio Quality > Toggled On "Lossless Audio" > Switched Mobile Data Streaming, Wi-Fi Streaming and Downloads to Hi-Res Lossless.
@@MrNiceGuy0891 do you know if tidal may sound good on a macbook pro? I have a wh xb910, just purchased the apple music subscription and it definitely sounds terrible ( the macbook m3 sounds really good btw but nvm). I am planning to buy the WH-1000XM5, and even though Im awared the sony app is for iOS only I would like to know if tidal could guarantee a pretty nice experience wether you are using ur macbook or your iPhone.
