    I have Tidal’s highest tier for $11. Is there anything  music would offer over it for that price?
    I found out there is no longer an android app and I have an android phone as well.

    I like tidal, but they dont have a lot of asian artist/bands so im moving back to apple music

      Oh, I just got into kpop and jpop, because I'm learning both languages. Qobuz doesn't have much so I'm not going with them. Guess I'll go with apple music as well.

      Supposedly worse since it does not provide true lossless audio. Just that it has mp3 320 kbps, which is nowhere near the better format of Tidal's audio.

      @@stevejordan544 No. Deezer has Flac 16 bit. But not 24 bit from what I can see. However, Tidal does provide some 24 bit flac. But can 16 bit flac be considered lossless? 24 bit flac is CD quality, so I guess not.

    Bluetooth isn’t lossless so if you most listen on Bluetooth headphones then it doesn’t matter.

      Oh no, it actually does, see you need to have the right equipment. I mean if you try to stream something on Bluetooth 4.2 it won’t work, a lot of times it will work on android phones with the right receiving end. At least this is for me.🤓

      Apple limit their HiRes lossless on pretty much everything device. In other words, although they offer HiRes & it’s great to brag - most people can’t get it because of the Apple restrictions.
      Tidal genuinely offer the stream & want you to use it

    Tidal has been debunked to have fake lossless, so no Apple music takes this one by far and it's not even close

      It shows you what's MQA and what's FLAC now, so no. Also Apple Music doesn't let you stream lossless over Bluetooth so it's useless. It also looks like ass. The only good thing is its library. It's one of the best along with Spotify.

      Lossless is meant for people who listen with hi-fi setups, like for example open back headphones running with a dac and amp setup. Using earbuds to listen to lossless is pointless, you won’t notice the difference. Especially not with bluetooth, bluetooth forces you to compress the audio, making it impossible to have lossless audio through bluetooth.

    Apple Music beats Tidal.. i've compared both apps with the same HiRes lossless quality in many songs with Sony XM5 earphones, and Apple is superior 🙌

      I thought so too until I purchased the THX Onyx amplifier and I was surprised how much better the sound is with Tidal. You cannot really judge sound with a bluetooth headphone. Wired is still King!

      It’s the same thing , Apple Music uses ALAC WHICH IS THE SAME AS FLAC , and you can hear lossless audio over Bluetooth it just has to supported EX; adpx Lossless

      I don’t care if ALAC is the same as FLAC, the music I hear is definitely not the same.
      With Tidal, the music is more refined and loud.
      Apple Music is not. Imagine using AirPods Pro Gen 2, iPhone 14 Pro, and an ecosystemized Apple Music, but you get music that doesn’t sound as good as your rival. What’s the selling factor then?

      They’re all the same, iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Music and AirPods Pro Gen 2. In fact I don’t have an Android device.
      As a last resort, I did this:
      Settings > Music > Audio > Audio Quality > Toggled On "Lossless Audio" > Switched Mobile Data Streaming, Wi-Fi Streaming and Downloads to Hi-Res Lossless.

I have a wh xb910, just purchased the apple music subscription and it definitely sounds terrible ( the macbook m3 sounds really good btw but nvm). I am planning to buy the WH-1000XM5, and even though Im awared the sony app is for iOS only I would like to know if tidal could guarantee a pretty nice experience wether you are using ur macbook or your iPhone.
