Spotify is generally the best for getting into different music and podcasts, they have a customisable eq, and have a far wider library of both large and small artists compared to Apple Music. TLDR, Apple Music if you’re mainstream, Spotify if you’re looking for new music or are into smaller artists. Or sail the seas for both? (Jk, I actually buy my music physically and dump them for portability)
Apple Music is a great app but I am kinda disappointed because they don’t have some songs that I’m looking for like " Stop Nagging Me! " or any other types of CuteGore songs.
you make a great point in the very end. I use spotify but their algoriddim is getting increasingly annoying. They play me a song that i have sadly played too many times and skip now. I even tried removing the heart from Geraldine Hunt "Cant fake the feeling" but whatever i do, Spotify insists on shoving it down my throat-ears. Only when i listen my Enya mood tracks and go to radio, i get rid of G.Hunt. But these are trivial problems compared to pollution, poverty and lack of education. I shouldn't complain
Spotify is fine if you have premium. But something that bugs me is the sound quality on Spotify (the most important thing in a music app) which Apple Music does well. So I’m sticking with Apple, even though I am very jealous of your updates and wraps.
Spotify's algorithm does what you do, finish an album get ready to listen to your recently listened to, artist radio? Completely new genre....recently listened to, AI DJ? Recently listened to. End of the year? Let's wrap up your recently listened to.
As a spotify user, I can confirm. Without premium you can’t even play songs without having to look it up and skip though a whole dang playlist, and it’s really crappy with the fact you get 6 skips a hour. Even with premium they still push things like “smart shuffle” and “recommended songs” out of nowhere.
i mean you don’t have to use recommendations options to listen to the music you like 💀💀 just ignore it. but for some people recommendations is what they want
Spotify for good recommendations, Deezer or TH-cam for the ones who want to download mp3 or flac for free, Tidal for the ones who really want to support artists and Apple Music or Amazon Music... well I don't know why they even exist!
I started on spotify and oh my god the free tier is genuinely unusable, you CAN NOT play the song you want, it will throw other random songs in your playlist, and when you try and skip the randoms it adds more and then once your out of skips it rly has the audacity to be like “if you are gonna skip these songs you should remove them from your playlist” and then i screamed and moved to youtube music bc I couldn’t deal with that anymore
all the people saying that spotify is basically unusable without premium, so is every other streaming platform. like netflix, sure it's about tv shows and movies and stuff, but it doesn't even let you preview stuff. apple music also just lets you preview a little bit of music, not as much as apple music. companies can't function without earning money.
Spotify is gold if you have premium or if you want to make playlist or find new artist. Apple Music has amazing sound quality TH-cam music I don’t know why it exist. Tidal…not to be racist or whatever but I have seen only black people use it. Not bad app tho Dezeer is mid Amazon music good but meh
Much like everybody else is saying Spotify is ass without premium however there is an issue with the shuffle feature Let's say you have a really big playlist or whatever so for example my liked playlist is currently around 8000 it will just sorta play songs that I've enjoyed the most out of all of them or recently listened so if u went out of my way to pick a song it will probably play that song instead it's the main reason why I've started making playlists for every artist I vividly listen to that way I can hear them whenever I want and not have listened to one song a lot in order to hear it. Plus organization is nice lol
I'm android guy. So I don't use all the bs. The problem with Apple music and Spotify is that they don't have music from street musicians and other music from amateur musicians. I like streat music and music from amateur musician but luckily I can find it on TH-cam music. I just download it 😊😊 and create Playlists with any desired music player from the playstore according to my taste. No need to pay extra charges. I feel sorry for iphone users who pay for premium and still don't get half of what i get. If was to pay for premium, I would pay for TH-cam premium. I'm using Spotify over 1,5 years now. The order problem doesn't really bothers me. I just listen to random Playlist, like Songs, put them in my personal playlist and then listen to my playlists. If I just want to listen to one single song. I quickly go to TH-cam. It's not a big deal.
I recommend you use a hacked one. Well I use it and until today I never caught a virus
@@aleagamer Can you give me some names of hacked ones?
Spotify has been giving out premium free trials recently, it’s for 3 or 1 month
i use tidal underrated asf
I’m team Apple Music! 🍎 Ever since it came out in 2015 I ditched Spotify for the most part. I still have my free account and browse throw it every now and then but its like 1% of the time compared to the 99% of the time I’m using Apple Music
The free Spotify is the worst streaming app but the paid version is the best streaming app
Spotify is the best $10/month i spend
Apple music unlimited is $10 a month too, and it has wayy better quality
nehh apple music is the best music quality, that includes lossless audio, spatial audio and dolby atoms for $10 and plus they pay artist more compare to spotify
@@cedy894 lmao apple released loseless audio to the wrong generation, everyone nowadays uses airpods (which dont support loseless), plus apple music recommendations are shit, spotify is available with everything while apple likes to gatekeep their app. Spotify is way better by a mile
@@4fai6 dude airpods r apple products? also why would they release lossless audio id they didnt have airpods in mind. i didnt do my research but enligjten me
@@UJD1grr You need special hardware to listen to lossless that means hifi wired headphones or new wireless headphones with a very recent processor only a couple Bluetooth headphones and phones can listen to lossless but the H1 or H2 chips on AirPods can’t produce lossless.
Algorithm tripping
Or, and hear me out: Buy the music you want, download it, and then play it as much as you want. Saves the most money and bandwidth. Only downside is that you can't find new songs, but if you listen to the same old albums over and over, paying monthly for it is just a scam.
Honestly
I have over 1300 songs in my playlist… So, it always makes more sense to stream them than to buy all of them.
So you’re saying if I want to listen to more than 1 new album a month i’m fucked
Android users with cracked spotify: 🗿

the amount of arguing in the fucking comments its crazy we all know the best way to listen to music is napster lmao jk but why do we as people argue about the most stupid shit lmao
Fr I’m tryna see the best suggestion but just people arguing
@@indamakingif you want Quality in audio then Apple Music but if you want better recommendations then Spotify
They have nothing better to do
@@indamakingI gotchu dude I’ve used am and Spotify for a bit
Apple Music tends to lack at recommendations but they’ve recently been getting better, their sound quality+special audio is far ahead of Spotify, and the ui is very easy to use and operate, and I think it looks better than Spotify.
Algorithm tripping bro 😭😭🙏🙏
Bro made the worst decision
Spotify is fine if you have premium. But something that bugs me is the sound quality on Spotify (the most important thing in a music app) which Apple Music does well. So I’m sticking with Apple, even though I am very jealous of your updates and wraps.
TH-cam playlist with ad block
I pirate songs to mp3 and then listen to them on windows media player legacy 😂
Who actually use apple music? Like I actually don't know anyone irl who uses apple music.
Apple music is actually a really good and popular alternative to spotify
Apple for sound quality, Spotify for EQ customization
I hate, that Spotify can't just play one single song
It can but Apple Music is still better
@@114isamazingnumber ok
if you don't have premium, yes
right and have to pay for skips 😭😭
@@77.7isathan just pay💀 how you gonna complain if you use the free version who does that
Spotify's algorithm does what you do, finish an album get ready to listen to your recently listened to, artist radio? Completely new genre....recently listened to, AI DJ? Recently listened to. End of the year? Let's wrap up your recently listened to.
Mp3 player app + youtube to mp3 converter goes insane 🏴☠️
As a spotify user, I can confirm.
Without premium you can’t even play songs without having to look it up and skip though a whole dang playlist, and it’s really crappy with the fact you get 6 skips a hour. Even with premium they still push things like “smart shuffle” and “recommended songs” out of nowhere.
i mean you don’t have to use recommendations options to listen to the music you like 💀💀 just ignore it. but for some people recommendations is what they want
want a break from the ads?
Spotify Is actually scary man I be thinking about a song and it plays after
Spotify for good recommendations, Deezer or TH-cam for the ones who want to download mp3 or flac for free, Tidal for the ones who really want to support artists and Apple Music or Amazon Music... well I don't know why they even exist!
Apple Music for much higher quality music and special audio
Apple Music as an all rounder. Excellent audio quality, good interface and good algorithm.
Nah Apple music is trash
I’m a Apple myself but not all the stock iPhone apps are best imo. Spotify is way ahead in everything
I’ve never met someone else like me. I also don’t listen to playlists I just listen to whatever I want at the moment.
does it let you choose specific songs, like on desktop without Spotify premium?
Yep
Yes

Apple music ftw
Tidal better
Is the algorithm on crack again
I still use TIDAL.
My 3 months of Apple Music expired and I don’t feel like paying 10 a month so I don’t know what to do lol
pay it
Cheap ass
all the people saying that spotify is basically unusable without premium, so is every other streaming platform. like netflix, sure it's about tv shows and movies and stuff, but it doesn't even let you preview stuff. apple music also just lets you preview a little bit of music, not as much as apple music. companies can't function without earning money.
Agree with you on the Spotify thing
Apple Music is the best but only on Android. On iOS it doesn't really matter which platform you're using in an audiophile sense.
It’s actually pandora that does that not Spotify
Spotify does it too
@@wosiksls Not for me
I think they might have changed the way pandora works though
" I don't have a Playlist, I don't even have a music library " so you're saying you're listening to music, when it slaps it slaps?
Spotify is gold if you have premium or if you want to make playlist or find new artist.
Apple Music has amazing sound quality
TH-cam music I don’t know why it exist.
Tidal…not to be racist or whatever but I have seen only black people use it. Not bad app tho
Dezeer is mid
Amazon music good but meh
I'm white and I use Tidal. So...😊
I am from the future to warn Carter pcs that he finally went to spotify
I find it funny the entire TH-cam music community is almost only kids under 18
This didn't age well 😂😅🤣🤣
Cries in Amazon Music Unlimited. 😭
Much like everybody else is saying Spotify is ass without premium however there is an issue with the shuffle feature
Let's say you have a really big playlist or whatever so for example my liked playlist is currently around 8000 it will just sorta play songs that I've enjoyed the most out of all of them or recently listened so if u went out of my way to pick a song it will probably play that song instead it's the main reason why I've started making playlists for every artist I vividly listen to that way I can hear them whenever I want and not have listened to one song a lot in order to hear it. Plus organization is nice lol
Spotify premium is soooo much better than apple music
Facts
If you have a xbox, spotify plays for free, no subscription at all, all free. Best part, you can use the setting to put the song to your phone
I love tidal rip you for using apple music
I'm android guy. So I don't use all the bs. The problem with Apple music and Spotify is that they don't have music from street musicians and other music from amateur musicians. I like streat music and music from amateur musician but luckily I can find it on TH-cam music. I just download it 😊😊 and create Playlists with any desired music player from the playstore according to my taste. No need to pay extra charges. I feel sorry for iphone users who pay for premium and still don't get half of what i get. If was to pay for premium, I would pay for TH-cam premium. Because with TH-cam premium, you get ads free content of any kind. Music, documentaries, news, drama, educational content, everything.
Spotify: here I worked SUPPPER hard on finding these songs for u!! ❤❤❤
Apple: here drake n billie
Carter you should probably listen to nujabes, 9th wonder, Pete rock, j dilla and some Boom bap
TH-cam music is great but they need higher quality streaming
Spotify Free Is Bad, Spotify Premium Is Good Because You Can Listen To Stuff Normally
I honestly didn't bother buying Spotify Premium because of how horrible the free experience was I went with apple.
The thing about Spotify is so true that I hate Spotify.
