Great video! Thanks for covering keyboards with knobs. I wonder why knobs not very popular anymore. They're so intuitive & useful if you're a music lover
This was really helpful. I recently bought a macro pad, as I want to create shortcuts for tedious tasks I do at work, but the one I have only connects to VIA 1.3, so looking for one that connects to the new version, for delays. But I;m just starting out, so not really for QMK yet. 😬
Any chance you can create a short or video on how to configure Media Keys via VIA for a 75% layout (Rainy75, SK75 etc) I have an old Keychron with Media Keys, and I would like to upgrade to a newer keyboard. This is the only thing that prevents me from moving out of Keychron.
Keyboard search question: Looking for an off-the-shelf portable keyboard that has a split space bar (more thumb buttons even better) and VIA programming. I got a Keychron K11 pro this year after only using membrane/laptop keyboards and it has been fantastic all-round between feel and layer functionality...I just need a 40% version for portable use that doesn't forego any of the thumb-accessible keys. There's stuff at the edges of what I'm looking for but the only thing that hits all the points would be to build a low-profile split kit like a corne or something. Doable but I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.: - Generic tilted folder like the ProtoArc on Amazon: great compactness but probably less than great membrane keys. Not programmable. - Logitech keys 2 go 2: ultimate compactness but no split space or programming - Epomaker TH40: full size keys, a bit heavy compared to purpose-built portables (prob best option overall though) - Keychron B1: heavy-ish and single spacebar
Just ordered the NuPhy Field75 HE. It’s my first ever serious gaming keyboard. I’m a sucker for grey/orange color schemes haha! Thanks for the information and years of great keyboard content!
I ended up getting SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Wireless from the sales for roughly around 100$ (was cheaper than wired one in my country). Apart from some minor problems, which are not a big deal to be honest, I’m enjoying it so far, especially the typing experience with adjustable actuation points.
Lol, great timing on this. I spent about 2 hours on Thursday night going from keyboard to keyboard on Amazon trying to find which had all the features I need/want & fits in to my budget.
Great video. As a nubie, if you can simplify thet video. With top 5 black friday deals recommendation. Or top black froday deal for each budget, it would be super helpful.
I’m exhausted looking for my first full size keyboard. I just want silent keys. Don’t know what premade keyboard there is except Epomaker R100 (with the mini TV)? I don’t care about the mini display, just want silent keys. Looked at putting together my own but don’t know which barebones keyboard to get. 😵💫
Hey, I'm trying to get a thocky keyboard, and I'm thinking about getting the QK75N with pc plate and tri mode flex-cut PCB. The switches are boba u4t's and i think the keycaps will probably be ceramic keycaps for the more thocky sound. What do you guys think?? Do I need to buy stabilizers separately or do they come with the QK75N? Any suggestions are appreciated
Do you have any comments about the Furycube F75? I recently bought this keyboard and I’m very happy with it is aluminum and very heavy and I think it’s nice but I don’t know what other keyboard to compare to because it’s my first one would you ever do a review on this one? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Is the software on AULA that awful? Are there any drawbacks to justify not buying Rainy 75? As first board I am puzzled if extra 50 euros should be give to "more premium" keyboard or should I just keep the money and get keycaps/switches for future tinkering with Aula?
how important is software for you? You really NEED macro's? Or how much do you care about RGB? The standard RGB settings on the aula were more than enough for me and I didnt need macros......I do not use software so I really enjoy my aula.
The Neo65 actually does come with stabs but they count as a "free gift" and aren't under warranty Sorry for going all 🤓☝ but just wanted to point that out
@@SwitchandClickOfficial I definitely don't blame you for missing it, it's pretty hidden away at I think the actual final line of the page lol! Don't know why they wouldn't want included stabs to be more obvious
Wooting Enthusiast here: There's only one keyboard that's worth getting MChose Ace 60 Pro with TTC Uranus Standard edition switches (not the SE, and if you're on a budget go for the KTEK switches). It's faster than the Wooting 80HE and has better internal components and chipsets. SUB $80 Wooting killer. MAD60HE - bad. Any IROK - bad, noname switches.
please do a review of the lucky65 v2, i would love to hear thoughts about it. it's 60$ for a fully aluminum tri-mode kit with via and ball latch. kinetic labs also sell it for 80$
Could you please try out the MADLIONS mad60 he gaming keyboard and try to review it if you can I am currently using a woomier m68 he and it has developed issues like auto inputs even if i have adjusted the actuation distance to a good amount above the minimum (It goes ham on 0.1mm).
Hi Betty, great timely video and thanks for the great ideas for keyboards on Black Friday sales. The Leobog Hi 75 green/white is $120 on Black Friday sale from $150 on Amazon Canada. Wow that is a big differance, it was a lot closer on most keyboards but that one took the cake. I'm getting the Epomaker DynaTab75 in blue/white with Sea Salt Silent Switches I ordered it yesterday, it was $37.25 CAD ($26.64 USD). It is cheap and has silent switches also RGB/2.4G/USB-C/BT5.0 and will hold my iPad as I type...
I got the v3 for 65 bucks (excluding shipping) and its been fantastic. Great quality for the price and lots of extra bits and pieces included for building ur first custom board. A board like this 2 years ago would have been like triple the price.....
Ordered the Lemokey P1 Pro after I wasn’t happy with the Rainy75. Don’t recommend the Rainy75 if you plan to change the switches. It’s a huge pain to change them and kind of require taking apart the PCB
@@gregorio5543 seeing all these options for a moment I thought, did I make a mistake ordering a Lemokey P1 Pro? I've been using a Keychron C2 for quite some time and have been happy, so looking forward to getting my hands on the P1 Pro tomorrow.
The RK Royal King Kludge R65 is also an amazing keyboard. Purchased it 2 days ago, and it is arriving tomorrow. King Kludge used to make not really good keyboards with very little thock, but their R65 is astounding for the price; about 20-25% percent off. Would definitely recommend the RK Royal King Kludge R65.
@@Jj82op I think they mean it is hard to find a nice sounding budget keyboard which has the german layout since qwerty doesnt have letters like ä, ö & ü, which we do need quite often :/

Looking at getting the Royal Kludge RK75 pro for $53. Apparently it’s QMK/VIA now.
Ordered my first custom KB. The Rainy 75 from Amazon because they had the "Luna" colorway (White). Really looking forward to it!
I do tend to lean more towards keyboards that also have Number Key pads that can match to them, but I am loving that WOBKEY Rainy

Hi! I like how the rainy 75 looks and feels. Would you suggest something to make it silent? or a silent 75 alternative keyboard?

The Magi 65 isn't eligible for the Iqunix discount :(
I bought the Nuphy Air 96 v2 but I regret it not being ISO Nordic layout. I would love if you could focus a bit more on the ISO for us Europeans
There are some Keychron keyboards on sale at Amazon too. Bought mine Q3 MAX this week!
Lol, great timing on this. I spent about 2 hours on Thursday night going from keyboard to keyboard on Amazon trying to find which had all the features I need/want & fits in to my budget.
Me too. Lmao. I picked up a highground keyboard from bestbuy for like 80. But these amazon sales got me wanting another keyboard
I just bought one Aula F75 and it’s working great.
I know it's random but omg your voice is so soft and pleasant to listen to 🫠
aula 75 can be bought for 15 usd from aula if you don’t take the epomaker route
Got my eyes on the RK Royal Kludge M75 for Black Friday Grey/Black/coffe version
get the epomaker th80 se
Which would be better for me?
Epomaker shadow x or leobog hi75?
