      thank you very much for the work you put in this awesome video!!!
      the toughest question; which one should i buy? you dont have to decide for me but please tell me;
      -which one has the best potential "out of the box"
      -and which one do you think outperforms the others once upgraded?
      i just want the most fun from my first crawler, not having to upgrade everything right away...
      oh god thats already 3 categories im so sorry

      @@cylus_sector9 I think you’ll be happiest with the SCX24 man. Aftermarket support is best for them. It’s smaller than the TRX4M so there’s more opportunities for better obstacles and making your own courses will be easier. You could take a scx24 gladiator. Put an injora 050 motor in it. A reefs servo. Better wheels and tires and some brass up front and have an amazing performing rig for under 300$ including the scx24 and upgrades.

    Great video! The FCX24 is still so underrated in my opinion. The extended trailing arm kit makes that thing into a whole different beast. The servo on the TRX4M is crazy! SO FAST - and that steering angle is tough to beat. Myself I was most impressed with your SCX24. It seemed like the most well-rounded performer, doing consistently well in almost any situation. The sidehill with the portals was impressive!

      Thanks man 🤝 I love my FCX24 I don’t drive it enough. I wanna throw the hyrax on and see how differently it performs. I hope someone comes out with OD gears for the TRX4M soon that would really help turning radius and climbing 😬. And yeah my SCX24 is a little sleeper! I wanna build a straight axle furitek/reefs gladiator 24 next with some brass down low.

      I agree, my built C-10 with limiting straps can still hang with most rigs.

    Good comparison. I’d like to also see
    one with stock vehicles including the new redcat.

    EXCELLENT video! Love seeing these rigs compared with some really solid upgrades as someone who’s just entering this micro crawler world. With that I’d love to get your take, if you were starting from 0, which platform provides the best starting point? It seems like the 2 speed tranny and electronics in the FCX provide the most robust jumping off point, but I’d love to hear your opinion. Thanks!

      That’s a really hard call to be honest! But I’m going to go with the SCX24 due to its vast array of aftermarket options. The TRX4M took a lot of work for me to enjoy it. And the FCX24 is cool but not the best aftermarket and I never use mine (actually just ripped the front axle out of it and made my furitek cayman 4x4 into a rear steer car) that video will be uploaded shortly

    Yes same tires. How about with rc4wd i think its mud slingers. They are my tire of choice.

      Yeah I really like these tires

    Awesome comparison, and great video content! I think you have your RCAWD links installed upside down, which gains ground clearance, but seems to hurt descending and side hill driving.
