Dude! Just saved me from ordering a transmitter.
I had this fms fcx18 that I’ve considered scrapping due to needing several odds and ends. Seeing that I can use my scx24 transmitter to at least get it to a usable state will make this worth getting it back to drivable.
I never really liked the small transmitters until I got my FCX24. It's pretty cool to be able to stick it in your pocket and free up some carry space. Especially now with that foam wheel on it. Good find once again 😂
I’m the same way. Couldn’t wait to get rid of the small transmitters until I ran this one a good bit and started liking it! Now I hate to give it up honestly! Just gotta print me a small small base to clamp my camera on or something now 😆

thaanx for this descriptive vid, i just picked up a fcx and i like the size of the tx. i installed my scx24 gladiator elc in the fms atlas when i upgraded the gladiator to a furitek. i now run the atlas and fcx on the same tiny radio, i like to bring a rig to work once in awhile and the smaller the better in my backpack.

Same here! I wasn’t a big fan of these small controllers until I ran this one a hood bit. Now I really like it! Especially with the foam wheel!

I just tried changing my wheel it doesn’t fit the inside is much bigger on the wheel from The V2 radio
There should be an adapter on the axial transmitter that you have to pull off also.
Had to use the v1 controller the ax-4 wheel on the fcx24 controller

I have the scx c10 which has the samr radio as the bolt but different from the jeep and gladiator. Have tried several times to get my fcx radio to bind. Unfortunately it will not.

How did you change the FMS transmitter wheel? Mine is solidly connected and removing the screw doesn’t do anything 😢
Once you pull the screw I just pulled hard and it came off. Should be the same on yours. They are on there pretty good though

@2FMRC, does it work the other way around as well? So can the scx24 transmitter bind with the FCX24 receiver?
It will work but nothing on the scx transmitter will switch the transmission so the 2 speed is useless with it.
Thank you for the answer! So for a second build it’s enough to get an fcx24 esc-rx and I don’t have to buy the axial rx-esc combo :)

That's awesome! I noticed that the FMS transmitter works perfectly on the version two SCX24 ESC/receiver. Do you know if it will also work for the version one SCX24 ESC/receiver?

If you bind the stock FCX TX with some drag brake and then bound the scx TX to the fcx would it store the drag brake settings in the stock esc? or does that only store in the stock TX?
I tried that and it didn’t seem to matter what the settings were before. It ran the same either way. But it did for some reason seem to have a little more drag to it than when you normally run without the drag brake so it’s kinda odd lol
I don't get neutral on my fcx how can I fix that
It’s basically in the end point settings and honestly I don’t know how we adjust that on the stock transmitter/esc. I think they programmed some of them different because some have it and some don’t.

Were you able to connect the G7P to the v2 scx? I tried and was unable to get it to bind. I was able to bind my G7P to my new RGT Tracer. It's transmitter look almost identical as the scx v2 transmitter but not exactly the same. The RGT has more buttons.
No I haven’t been able to bind those either. Seems like it should bind up!
@@2fmrc someone told me the scx v2 was ANT protocol. I looked online but didn't see any information on it.
