Would love to see the death guard done, good chance to show how you can use weathering effects to make a mini look at an even higher level, like dirty downs rust etc. Only 2 main colours the dirty white and green so would be really quick and suit this style well.
great work as always! Some really great tips in here, I’m looking forward to trying these out! It would be good to see some more unusual paint schemes for your next video & yellow was a good choice here. A lot of schemes we see are dark colours, so seeing Emperors Children (pinks) or White Scars (Whites) would make an interesting change, to see if the techniques still work!
That was a good progress of your Imperial Fist, I should look at placing the transfersheet on the model before the last contrast. Thanks for showing us.
Amazing. Watching it build up and slowly become even more incredible. Could you maybe do a thousands sons considering they are almost the opposite side of the spectrum colourwise from their 40k version and I'd love to see how you manage a metallic red or even better a matt red scheme
12:49 Rhinox Hide has quite a bit of black in it. Black is basically a very dark blue (or at least has a blue bias). Blue plus yellow equals green. So if you are shading yellow with a dark brown, than the more black is in the brown, the greener it will look. Also a warmer yellow than Flash Gitz (which is quite cold) will help with it not turning green.
Hopefully you will do Iron Warriors as well to face off against the Imperial fist. I would like to see how you can make the Iron Warriors silver look interesting which I'm straggling to do at the moment. Keep the vids coming:)
@@TheMerryMuggle yes he did one over a year ago , and he also did imperial fists too as well as salamanders , wolves , and templars , but not on the Horus Heresy models
Thank you for another great video, Byron though lime yellow feels a bit odd - in my mind the yellow is more sunflower, prob cos that was the colour of the space crusade figures. I would like to see the Salamanders, or something equally vibrant green. Thanks once again.
Great video as always, my series D set is due to arrive today, along with a texture palette. Just one query however, how do you go about washing the texture palette, if it can be washed? Or do you just prime over it and start over? Thanks :)
Quick question: noticed you didn't use Yriel Yellow - could I replace Flash with Yriel and still be okay, or did you not use it because it didn't look as good as Flash?
I'd suggest Iron Hands personally, but you can kind of sneakily do two at once that way. You are Iron Hands/Warriors. You just do the last detail step differently.
I finally bit the bullet and got my full series D, coming from cheap make up brushes I'm still nervous on using them lol. "These brushes are too damn nice to stipple with!!! I don't want to beat the hell out of my new babies!"

This is a really great direction to go in for combining a dirty look with strong, "clean" colors that pop.
+1 for World Eaters! Drybrushing white armour along with some neat blood effects would be amazing!
Just ordered a load of your brushes...thanks to Richard Gray for his amazing horus heresey brush based tutorial for leading me down this path!
I love that I know this will be solid content and beautiful painting before the video even premieres!
Thanks for the kind words! Hopefully we don't disappoint!

Would love to see night Lords :D

I like a nice clean look and the airbrush but this was still fantastic to watch

I love you guys videos. Great content. I just placed my first order, got some brushes and other things. Super excited to give them a go.
Jason, thanks so much for your support, my dude! We'll continue making them if you continue watching :)
I am watching your painting green tutorial in the Miniature Frontier stream. Great job guys, and Team Warhammer sent me for another chance to win 😉👍
Team warhammer sent me! I love your dry brushes and honestly can't use any other dry brush now lol.
Smashing job, I love the pose and colour of the eyes, he looks quite sad and pleading actually....
Thanks for the tutorials! I'd love to see how you paint Death Guard.
This one. This is amazing. I'm going to try an replicate it on some stuff. Thanks for the vid!
Let us know how it goes :)
Tomorrow at 8pm. Schedule cleared and looking forward to it.
Yeah boii! It's a long one this time, plenty of depth

Great videos! Really helping me get back into the hobby. Please could you do Space Wolves next?
Hey Byron great work as always. I'd really like to see your take on painting Night Lords for Horus Heresy
As I said yesterday during the preview.. amazing result!!😍😍 it’s definitely my preferred so far😉😉 for the next one you could do a Space Wolf😏🤤
Ah damn was too early on the fists suggestion, so Ill hold out for night lords next please! Cant wait to see you drybrush those lightning bolts!
Awesome as usual pal
Thanks again!
Would you maybe do Iron Warriors at some point? Would love to see your technique for dirty/singed metal and those lovely hazard stripes.
Cheers!
nice short intro, especially #3 is straight to the point 👍 again asking for candy red thousand sons :)

Still hoping on Space Wolves! I'd be interested to see how you'd weather the quite dark and muted grey armour.
Team warhammer sent me! You guys are awesome
I shall combine this with the Richard grey tutorial with the oils. Very nice. Might see what the new fists yellow contrast is like though
I'd love to see the Salamanders get the Artis Opus treatment.
Loved this 🙌🙌🙌 a dark angels mini would be good 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
He did dark angels a few videos ago. Go check out the video history on the channel.

@@Vicky1138thx no he did one 2 weeks ago on 30K DA. th-cam.com/video/u-Rt3zYs7OI/w-d-xo.html
Byron actually done one on 30K Dark Angels this month.

Where's the Sons of Horus tutorial? Was really looking forward to seeing your take on the look for them! Hopefully could come back and do one?
I would like to see White Scars... they should be interesting!
Space Wolves, Would love to see a return of bigger return of stipling and use of Contrast paints
Thanx Byron
:) You're most welcome, dude! Thanks for watching

id like to see you do some historical models as well
Not my bag actually😅
Word Bearers, I know their red colour scheme is more different to the Blood Angels from previous GW photos in the White Dwarfs and Rule books.
I would love to see you try your hand at the Sons of Horus
awesome painting.
Next one Sons of Horus? 😇
Word bearers! A clean non-metallic version would be nice, as the scheme is a bit dark to begin with. But any two-color scheme would be fun to see! :)
team warhammer sent me!!!!! Just sewn your dry brush kerry is using its awsome stuff
How about some night Lords? You see them alot and it would good to see them get some love
"I will screw up. lets go" a shirt if ever I saw one
Space Wolves. With the airbrush and series S. Maybe a little conversion to spice things up
Gonna use this for my dads firehawks!
Any chance you can do a imperial fist that isn't weathered? Would love to see it.
Great video as always, my series D set is due to arrive today, along with a texture palette. Just one query however, how do you go about washing the texture palette, if it can be washed? Or do you just prime over it and start over? Thanks :)
Have you done a 30K world eaters tutorial?
Quick question: noticed you didn't use Yriel Yellow - could I replace Flash with Yriel and still be okay, or did you not use it because it didn't look as good as Flash?
Would like to see Night Lords after the Sons of Horus
I'm not even sure but did you end up using Averland Sunset here? Browsed through the video and didn't see it
I'd suggest Iron Hands personally, but you can kind of sneakily do two at once that way. You are Iron Hands/Warriors. You just do the last detail step differently.
For those "non people" who needs a guide for HH Raven guard, Cult of paint just released a really good one.
Don't think I've seen a proper Raven Guard. So let's go Raven Guards!!!
With some yellow or bright green OSL from the base.
HECKIN' WORLD EATERS
I have a mess of models to paint and too much analysis paralysis to begin. Show us how it's done!
I finally bit the bullet and got my full series D, coming from cheap make up brushes I'm still nervous on using them lol. "These brushes are too damn nice to stipple with!!! I don't want to beat the hell out of my new babies!"
I desire some World Eaters!
Between Byron and Richard Gray I'm pretty much convinced that the fists are the way forward...
What colours would you use for a white scar version of this
