For anyone who needs to hear this, this is the best tutorial on TH-cam for this. The tip that helped me the most was to just practice popping the board up with your middle finger. I can now Ollie! Thank you sir!
My co workers trip out because I can Ollie over pickle buckets and milk crates 😂 what can I say? Been using tech decks since I was in elementary lol I'm 27 now and now I'm using pro fingerboards but I have a tech deck set up that rips!! Awesome video Jack!
It really is interesting that it’s basically the same concept as a normal size skateboard. I’ve been skating for a long time but never got into fingerboards. I’ve had one on my work desk for years now so I decided to look up how to Ollie on it and it really is just the same physics scaled down. But thank you for that. I took me about 20 minutes and I’ve got a nice little pop going and now I’m using everything on my desk as a ledge or manual pad. My work will suffer but totally worth it. 🤙🏼
Hey this is helping but everytime I try doing the ollie it goes up only a few cm or my fingers just jump off when I lift my hand up. How can I fix this?
yooo got a good news today i juz did an ollieeee its not that perfect tho im still practicing it but im able to do it now so yeah cool,,im learning ollie for lyk a months n i always watch jacks fingerboarding vids,,n i always watch this vid when im doin an ollie,,my advice to all starters who still learning ollie this vid helps tho but u kno juz play ur boards n ollie takes a lot of time to learn juz play ur boards n perform tha tricks u kno n think of ollie always,,n try to do it always even u fail or even u didnt performed it lyk for a day its okay tho eventually ure gonna be able to perform it,,,it comes naturally tho,,n im so happy asf rn even tho im dealing w a lot of things rn but this ollie got me feel lyk so great n feel lyk i unlocked an achievement in lyf haha,,n u kno juz have fun n shit,,,tnx jackkkk luv u n ur vids so mucj
I did the same when I was learning to ollie just remember to keep your middle finger as straight as possible dont let the tip curl after the pop hope that helps

Hey man I've been searching up tutorials on how to olli for almost a month and none of them have worked but I was just watching some of your videos and this was next in line to play and I learnt it in les the 2 minutes
_Just like anything else that's hard in life, you can achieve it with practice_ My man here dropping wisdom bombs on a fingerboarding video. But as I've experienced personally, once you can simulate skateboarding with your fingers is when you realize how true it is 😂
imagine if one of these days jack says at the end "thanks for watching, and thank for playing..... WITH DEEZ NU-" and then it cuts off. would catch me offguard
tried for two days on my own and couldnt get it. 15 minutes after watching this and I can hop my water bottle on its side easy. Thank you so much! The flipping it over onto your finger thing was so helpful.

Exactly man!! I knew I was doing something wrong but the way he broke it down showed me what I needed to practice first
An ollie is literally the easiest trick ever, but it’s the hardest to learn
True
@Zyx_cle you have to bring your hand forward
@Urboigrant56 pop it harder
nollies……
@@martiniusls nollies are not that hard to learn, at least not harder than ollies were for me.
I’ve been fingerboarding for a day now and I’ve practiced my Ollie for 15 minutes and I’m starting to get better. Keep the good work up!
HOW?!?!?!?
Practice bud@@aronlolxd
How its is literally impossible

I accidentally did a kick flip trying to do and ollie
A heelflip tutorial would be greatly appreciated! Same for the nollie
*switch
Nollie or heelflip pleaseeee
An nollie is just a ollie in the front
NGL to me I can't kickflip but I can heel flip consistently
@@w.i.p.8154 i can ollie no heelflip or kickflip tho

Im really good at ollies but i find myself doing them too quickly, is there a way to do an ollie more slowly without the fingerboard falling?
It's crazy bc the kick flip and shove it feel so natural, but I'm struggling to get air under the Ollie.
Best tutorial I've seen. So simple and quick. I got the pop down before the video ended thank you
@Xhutahold it not very very hard but like kinda hard to glue it to your fingers and do it very fast
I just can't pop it in the air but good tutorial though

How can you get the fingerboard in the air with 2 fingers on it!?!? It seems impossible to me!
Did you ever learn it? 😅
I just use my thumb
I think I'm starting to get better thanks for the video

My board always goes in to a shove it or starts doing 360 flips when trying to Ollie. How do you keep it straight? lol
Just pop straight down and don’t scoop your finger back
I did the same when I was learning to ollie just remember to keep your middle finger as straight as possible dont let the tip curl after the pop hope that helps
Ohhh yes continuing with these! Lol I’d love to learn to fingerboard lol

To those who still can't Ollie, if you have smaller hands you should slide both fingers instead of just one (ps don't use three fingers)
Who else picked up your tv remote😂😂

You should do a short or something learning to ollie over again but with your left hand
doese a teck dec grip or a foam grip affect the performance
